• Install the repeater away from electric and magnetic elds.
• Protect the repeater from humidity and dust.
• Do not install the repeater in a high temperature environment. This may cause the internal
temperature to rise to a damaging level.
Usage
1. Anchor the BLK-HDAMP securely to a stable surface.
2. Attach the video input and output cables to the appropriate connectors (see the illustration above).
Anchor the input and output cables to the surface as needed.
3. Connect your 12 Vdc and ground power leads to the power input terminals. Observe the polarity
shown in the illustration on the side of the device. Before making these connections, ensure that no
voltage exists the these leads.
4. Apply 12 Vdc power to the power device. Verify that the power input status LED (PWR) is red.
5. Apply a video signal to the Video in coax cable. Verify that the Video out status LED (LOCK) is green.

Precautions
• Do not open or modify the repeater. Changing the unit may damage it or cause it to be dangerous.
• Do not open the unit or put objects inside it. Make sure that no metal objects or ammable substances
get inside the repeater.
• Be careful when handling the unit. To prevent damage, do not drop the repeater or submit it to a
strong shock or vibration.
