Sicherheitshinweise
Vor dem Bohren der Befestigungslöcher si-
cherstellen, daß keine verlegten Kabel oder
Fahrzeugteile beschädigt werden.
Verbauen Sie die USB Buchse nicht in
den Aufblasbereich der Airbags und sor-
gen Sie für eine sichere Ablage, damit die
Fahrzeuginsassen bei einer Notbremsung
nicht gefährdet werden. An scharfkantigen
Löchern Kabeldurchführungen verwenden.
Für die Dauer der Montage und
des Anschlusses ist der
Minuspol der Batterie abzu-
klemmen.
Hierbei sind die Sicherheitshinweise des
Kfz- Herstellers (Airbag, Alarmanlagen,
Bordcomputer, Wegfahrsperren) zu beach-
ten.
Recycling und Entsorgung
Bitte nutzen Sie zur Entsorgung des
Produktes die zur Verfügung stehenden
Rückgabe- und Sammelsysteme.

Ein CD-Wechsel entspricht einem
Verzeichnis- oder Wiedergabelisten-
Wechsel.
iPod-Betrieb
Für die Anzeige im iPod-Display müssen
im iPod eigene Wiedergabelisten angelegt
werden.
In der SW Version „Basic“ sind bis zu 9
Wiedergabelisten mit jeweils bis zu 99
Tracks (= Titel = Musik-Dateien) realisier-
bar.
Die Wiedergabeliste Nr. 1 legt alle auf dem
iPod vorhandenen Titel automatisch ab
(Funktion des iPod).
Die Aktualisierung der iPod-Anzeige erfolgt
etwa 1 sec verzögert.
Zur Textanzeige im Radio-Display siehe un-
ter „Funktion“, Hinweis 2.
Die Wiedergabe vom iPod hat Priorität vor
der Wiedergabe von USB.
Bei eingeschaltetem Radio wird der Akku
des angeschlossenen iPods geladen.

MP3-/WAV-Wiedergabe
über USB
Sie können einen oder zwei USB-
Wechseldatenträger mit MP3-/ und/oder
WAV-Dateien an das Interface anschlie-
ßen, um die MP3-/WAV-Dateien über das
Autoradio abzuspielen. MP3- und WAV-
Dateien können beliebig auf dem USB-
Datenträger verteilt sein. Das Autoradio
muss eingeschaltet sein.
Schließen Sie den USB-Wechseldaten-
träger an ein USB-Kabel vom Interface
an.
WählenSiean IhremRadioCD-Wechsler
(CDC) als Audioquelle (siehe Anleitung
Radio).
Sofern kein iPod angeschlossen ist
beginnt die Wiedergabe an der zu-
letzt gehörten Position (wenn USB-
Datenträger nicht gewechselt wur-
de) oder mit dem ersten Titel (nach
Wechsel des USB-Datenträger ).
Steuern Sie die Wiedergabe über Ihr
Radio mit den für CD-Wechsler vorgese-
henen Tasten (Verzeichnisauswahl mit
CD hoch/runter, Titelauswahl mit Track
hoch/runter).
Beim Anschließen eines zweiten USB-
Datenträgers erfolgt die Wiedergabe
automatisch von diesem (wenn kein
iPod angeschlossen ist).
Haben Sie beim Einschalten des
Radios bereits zwei USB-Datenträger
an das Interface angeschlossen, so
startet (wenn kein iPod angeschlos-
sen ist) die Wiedergabe über die USB-
Schnittstelle 1 (ggf. ausprobieren).

Jeder der beiden USB-Datenträger (z.
B. USB-Stick, USB-Festplatte) wird
über die USB-Schnittstelle mit Strom
versorgt (5V, 0,5A , 1A kurzzeitig für
den Anlauf der Festplatte).
Hinweise:
USB-Datenträger muss mit FAT16 oder
FAT32 formatiert sein
Max. 9 Verzeichnisse oder Wiederga-
belisten können angelegt werden mit
max. 99 Dateien je Verzeichnis oder
Wiedergabeliste.

Software-Aktualisierung
Sie können die Software des Interfaces
selbst aktualisieren.
Hinweis:
Wenn Sie die Software aktualisieren,
kann es sein, dass diese Bedienungsan-
leitung nicht mehr aktuell ist. Bitte la-
den Sie eine aktuelle Anleitung unter
www.blaupunkt.de herunter.
Für die Aktualisierung der Software benö-
tigen Sie:

Entzippen und kopieren Sie die darin
befindlichen Dateien in das Blaupunkt
Verzeichnis auf dem USB-Datenträger.
Deaktivieren Sie den USB-Datenträger
im Rechner.
Schließen Sie den USB-Datenträger an
das USB-Kabel des Interfaces.
Schalten Sie das Autoradio ein.
Der Ladevorgang beginnt.
Wählen Sie als Audioquelle am
Autoradio den CD-Wechsler (CDC).
Das Autoradio zeigt den Ladefort-
schritt an. Titel und Zeit zählen hoch.
Sie können mit der DIS-Taste am
Radio evtl. die Anzeige umschalten.
Die Aktualisierung ist abgeschlossen,
wenn das Radiodisplay Titel/Track 99
anzeigt und die Zeit auf 59:59 steht.
Steht die Zeit auf 00:00, so war die
Aktualisierungfehlerhaft.Wiederholen
Sie in diesem Fall die Vorgänge.
Schalten Sie das Autoradio aus und wie-
der ein.
Die neue Software ist nun aktiv.
Hinweise:
Denken Sie daran, Ihre Konfigurations-
einstellungen zu erneuern. Diese sind
bei der SW-Aktualisierung gelöscht wor-
den.
Falls ein Überschreiben der aktuellen
Software mit derselben Version not-
wendig sein sollte, laden Sie bitte zuerst

eine andere Version und danach die ge-
wünschte.
Nach einer erfolgreichen SW-
Aktualisierung können Sie die Datei „se-
tup.hex“ im Blaupunkt-Verzeichnis Ihres
USB-Speichers umbenennen oder lö-
schen.
Wenn Sie die Datei „setup.hex“ im
Blaupunkt-Verzeichnis belassen und
nicht umbenennen, wird das Interface
bei jedem Anschließen des USB-
Speichers und bei jedem Einschalten
des Radios eine SW-Aktualisierung
versuchen. Diese wird automatisch
beendet, sobald das Interface die
Gleichheit der zu ladenden mit der be-
reits im Interface vorhandenen SW fest-
gestellt hat. Ausser der hierfür benö-
tigten Zeit entstehen keine weiteren
Nachteile.

Safety Notes
Before drilling holes for mounting, ensure
that no routed cables or vehicle compo-
nents are damaged!
Do not install the USB socket in the infla-
tion range of the airbags, make sure it is
stored securely so as not to endanger vehi-
cle occupants in the event of an emergency
braking.
Use cable glands for holes with sharp edges.
The negative terminal on the
battery must be disconnected
while the device is being in-
stalled and connected.
Observe the safety notes from the vehicle
manufacturer (airbag, alarm systems, on-
board computers, immobilisers).
Recycling and disposal
Please use the return and collection sys-
tems available to dispose of the product.

USB Interface complies with the basic re-
quirements and the other relevant regula-

patible with many commercial Blaupunkt

The delivery features the "Basic" soft-
ware configuration. It allows the follow-
ing displays:

A CD change corresponds to a direc-
tory or playlist change.
iPod mode
Separate playlists must be created for the
display on the iPod display.
The "Basic" software version allows imple-
menting up to 9 playlists with 99 tracks
each (= track = music files).
Playlist no.1 automatically stores all tracks
located on the iPod (iPod-specific func-
tion).
The iPod display is updated with a delay of
approx. 1 sec.
For the text display on the radio display,
see note 2 under "Function".
The playback from the iPod has priority
over the playback from USB.
The battery of the connected iPod is
charged if the radio is switched on.
MP3/WAV playback via USB
You can connect one or two USB removable
media drives with MP3 and/or WAV files to
the interface to play the MP3/WAV files via
the car sound system. MP3 and WAV files
can be distributed at random on the USB
data carrier. The car sound system must be
switched on.
Connect the USB removable media
drive to a USB cable of the interface.
On your radio, select CD changer (CDC)
as the audio source (see the instruc-
tions for radio).
If no iPod is connected, the playback
starts with the position previously lis-
tened to (if no USB data carrier was

changed) or with the first track (after
changing the USB data carrier).
Control the playback via your radio with
the buttons intended for the CD changer
(directory selection with CD up/down,
track selection with Track up/down).
When connecting a second USB data
carrier, it is automatically used for
playback (if no iPod is connected).
If two USB data carriers are already
connected to the interface when you
switch on the radio, the playback
starts (if no iPod is connected) via
USB interface 1 (if necessary, try it
out).
Each of the two USB data carriers
(e.g. USB stick, USB hard disk) is sup-
plied with power via the USB interface
(5 V, 0.5 A, 1 A transient for starting
the hard disk).
Notes:
The USB data carrier must be formatted
with FAT16 or FAT32.
Up to 9 directories or playlists can be
created with up to 99 files for each di-
rectory or playlist.
For the text display on the radio display,
see note 2 under "Function".
Software update
You can update the software of the interface
yourself.
Note:
If you update the software, these op-
erating instructions may no longer
be current. Please download a cur-

The following are required to update the
software:
Removable USB device (memory stick)
with at least 4 MB memory and FAT16 or
FAT32 formatting
Computer with Internet access
ZIP software
Updating
On the USB removable media drive,
create a directory called "Blaupunkt"
(ensure the correct spelling of
Blaupunkt!).
Download USB-IF-SW from www.blau-
punkt.de to a temporary directory of
your computer. Example: "C:\temp"
Unzip the file and copy the unzipped
files to the Blaupunkt directory on the
USB device.
Deactivate the USB device at the com-
puter.
Connect the USB device with the USB
cable of the interface.
Turn on the car sound system.
The loading process starts.
Select CD Changer (CDC) at the car
sound system as the audio source.
The car sound system indicates the
loading progress. Title and time are
counted up. You may be able to switch
the display using the DIS button of
your radio. The update is complete if
the radio display shows Title/Track 99
and the time reads 59:59.

If the time reads 00:00, the update
failed. In this case, repeat the proc-
esses.
Switch the car sound system off and on
again.
The new software is now activated.
Notes:
Do not forget to update your configura-
tion settings. They were deleted during
the software update.
If it becomes necessary to overwrite the
current software with the same version,
please load a different version first and
then the desired version
After a successful software update, you
can rename or delete the "setup.hex" file
in the Blaupunkt directory of your USB
memory.
If you leave the "setup.hex" file in the
Blaupunkt directory and do not re-
name it, the interface will attempt a
software update whenever you con-
nect the USB memory and whenever
you switch on the radio. It is exited au-
tomatically as soon as the interface has
detected that the software to be load-
ed is identical with the software already
available in the interface. Except for the
time required for this task, no other dis-
advantages exist.

3. Les fonctions d'utilisation de l'interfa-
ce correspondent à celles de la notice
d'utilisation de votre autoradio, chapi-
tre « Mode CDC ».
Un changement de CD correspond à un
changement de répertoire ou de liste
de lecture.
Mode iPod
Pour l'affichage sur l'écran de l'iPod, des
listes de lecture personnelles doivent être
enregistrées dans l'iPod.
La version de logiciel « Basic » permet
d'établir 9 listes de lecture avec 99 pistes
(= titres ou fichiers musicaux) au maximum
chacune.
La liste de lecture n° 1 enregistre automati-
quement tous les titres présents dans l'iPod
(fonction de l'iPod).
La mise à jour de l'affichage de l'iPod s'ef-
fectue avec 1 seconde de retard environ.
Pour l'affichage de texte sur l'écran de
l'autoradio, voir « Fonction », remarque 2.
La reproduction à partir de l'iPod a la prio-
rité sur celle de l'USB.
Lorsque l'autoradio est en marche, la batte-
rie de l'iPod raccordé se charge.

Lecture MP3/WAV via USB
Vouspouvezraccorderun oudeux supports
de données amovibles USB contenant des
fichiers MP3 et/ou WAV à l'interface pour
lire les fichiers MP3/WAV par l'intermédiai-
re de l'autoradio. Les fichiers MP3 et WAV
peuvent être répartis à volonté sur le sup-
port de données USB. L'autoradio doit être
en marche.
Raccordez le support de données USB
amovible à l'interface avec un câble
USB.
Sélectionnez changeur de CD (CDC)
comme source audio sur votre autora-
dio (voir la notice d'utilisation de l'auto-
radio).
Tant qu'aucun iPod n'est raccordé, la
lecture commence à la dernière posi-
tion écoutée (pour autant que le sup-
port de données USB n'ait pas été
remplacé) ou par le premier titre (si
le support de données USB a été rem-
placé).
Commandez la lecture par l'intermédiai-
re de votre autoradio, avec les touches
prévues pour le changeur de CD (sélec-
tion du répertoire avec CD suivant/pré-
cédent, sélection du titre avec piste sui-
vante/précédente).
En cas de raccordement d'un deuxiè-
me support de données USB, la lectu-
re s'effectue automatiquement à par-
tir de celui-ci (si aucun iPod n'est rac-
cordé).
Si vous mettez l'autoradio en marche
alors que deux supports de données
USB sont raccordés, la lecture démar-

re (si aucun iPod n'est raccordé) par
l'interface USB 1 (essayer au besoin).
Chaque support de données USB (par
ex. une clé USB ou un disque dur USB)
est alimenté par l'intermédiaire de l'in-
terface USB (5 V, 0,5 A , 1 A momen-
tanément pour le démarrage du dis-
que dur).
Remarques :
Le support de données USB doit être for-
maté FAT16 ou FAT32
Un maximum de 9 répertoires ou listes
de lecture avec 99 fichiers max. par ré-
pertoire ou par liste de lecture peuvent
être enregistrés.

l'autoradio, voir « Fonction », remarque 2.
Mise à jour du logiciel
Vous pouvez actualiser vous-même le logi-
ciel de l'interface.
Note :
Lorsque vous actualisez le logiciel, il se
peut que le présent mode d'emploi ne soit
plus actuel. Veuillez télécharger un mode
d'emploi actuel sous www.blaupunkt.de.
Pour la mise à jour du logiciel, vous avez be-
soin de :
Support de données amovible USB
(stick) avec au moins 4 Mo de mémoire
et un formatage FAT16 ou FAT32

Mise à jour
Créez le répertoire « Blaupunkt » sur le
support de données USB amovible (res-
pectez l'orthographe de Blaupunkt !).
Chargez USB-IF-SW à partir du site
www.blaupunkt.de dans un réper-
toire temporaire de votre ordinateur.
Exemple : « C:\temp »
Dézipper et copiez les fichiers s'y trou-
vant dans le répertoire Blaupunkt sur le
support de données USB.
Désactivez le support de données USB
dans l'ordinateur.
Branchez le support de données USB
au câble USB de l'interface.
Allumez l'autoradio.
Le processus de chargement com-
mence.
Sélectionnez comme source audio sur
l'autoradio le changeur de CD (CDC).
L'autoradio indique la progression du
chargement. Le titre et l'heure sont in-
crémentés. Vous pouvez évent. com-
muter l'affichage avec la touche DIS
sur la radio. La mise à jour est termi-
née lorsque l'affichage de la radio af-
fiche Titel/Track 99 et l'heure indique
59:59.
Si l'heure indique 00:00, cela signifie
que la mise à jour a échoué. Répétez
dans ce cas les opérations.
Eteignez et rallumez l'autoradio.
Le nouveau logiciel est désormais actif.

Remarques :
N'oubliez pas de refaire vos réglages de
configuration. Ceux-ci sont effacés lors
de la mise à jour du logiciel.
Dans le cas où le remplacement du logi-
ciel actuel par la même version serait né-
cessaire, chargez d'abord une autre ver-
sion, puis la version souhaitée.
Après une mise à jour réussie du logi-
ciel, vous pouvez renommer ou effacer
le fichier « setup.hex » dans le répertoire
Blaupunkt de votre mémoire USB.
Si vous laissez le fichier « setup.hex »
dans le répertoire Blaupunkt sans
le renommer, l'interface cherche-
ra à mettre le logiciel à jour chaque
fois que vous raccorderez la mémoi-
re USB ou que vous mettrez l'autora-
dio en marche. Le processus s'arrête-
ra automatiquement dès que l'interfa-
ce aura déterminé la similitude du logi-
ciel à charger et du logiciel déjà présent
dans l'interface. Cela n'a aucun incon-
vénient en dehors du temps perdu pour
cette opération.

Norme di sicurezza
Prima di praticare i fori per il fissaggio, oc-
corre accertarsi che i cavi posati o parti del-
la vettura non subiscano danneggiamenti!
Non montare la presa USB in corrispon-
denza della zona di apertura degli airbag e
collocarla su una superficie sicura che eviti
possibili pericoli per i passeggeri del veico-
lo durante una frenata di emergenza.
Nei fori con bordi taglienti utilizzare passa-
cavi.
Per tutta la durata del montag-
gio e del collegamento, il polo
negativo della batteria deve ri-
manere staccato.
Devono essere osservate le norme di sicu-
rezza del costruttore del veicolo (airbag,
impianti di allarme, computer di bordo, im-
mobilizzatori).
Riciclaggio e smaltimento
Per lo smaltimento del prodotto, utilizzare
i sistemi di restituzione e raccolta disponi-
bili.

Dall'anno 2002, l'interfaccia USB Apple®

dio e sistemi di navigazione con colle-

3. Le funzioni di comando della modalità
Interfaccia corrispondono a quelle ri-
portate sulle istruzioni d'uso dell'auto-
radio al capitolo "Modalità CDC“.
Cambiando CD, si cambiano anche le
liste della directory e quelle di riprodu-
zione.
Modalità iPod
Per la visualizzazione sul display iPod è ne-
cessario che l'iPod possieda i propri elen-
chi di riproduzione compilati.
Nella versione "Basic" del software è pos-
sibile creare fino a 9 elenchi di riproduzio-
ne, contenenti ciascuno fino a 99 tracce (=
brano = file musicali).
L'elenco di riproduzione N° 1 archivia auto-
maticamente tutti i brani presenti sull'iPod
(funzione dell'iPod).
L'aggiornamento della visualizzazione iPod av-
viene con un ritardo di tempo di circa 1 sec.

radio vedi il paragrafo "Funzione", Nota 2.

La riproduzione dell'iPod ha priorità rispet-
to a quella dell'USB.
A radio accesa, viene caricata la batteria
dell'iPod collegato.
Riproduzione MP3/
WAV mediante USB
Per ascoltare sull'autoradio i file MP3/WAV
è possibile collegare all'interfaccia uno o
due supporti USB con file MP3 e/o WAV. I
dati MP3 e WAV possono venire ripartiti sul
supporto USB nel modo che si preferisce.
L'autoradio deve essere accesa.
Collegare il supporto USB ad un cavo
USB dell'interfaccia.
Sulla radio scegliere Multilettore CD
(CDC) come fonte audio (vedi Istruzioni
della radio).
Fino a che non viene collegato un i-
Pod, la riproduzione ha inizio in corri-
spondenzadell'ultimaposizione ascol-
tata (se non è stato cambiato il sup-
porto USB) o dell'ultimo brano (dopo
aver sostituito il supporto USB).
Comandare la riproduzione sulla radio
con i tasti previsti per il multilettore CD
(selezione directory con CD alto/basso,
selezione brano con traccia alto/bas-
so).
Se si collega un secondo supporto
USB, la riproduzione avviene automa-
ticamente da tale supporto (se non è
collegato un iPod).
Se, al momento dell'impostazione del-
la radio, all'interfaccia sono già stati
collegati due supporti USB, la ripro-
duzione (se non è collegato un iPod)

Ciascuno dei due supporti USB (ad
es. chiavetta USB, scheda porta USB)
viene alimentato dall'interfaccia USB

Può essere compilato un numero massi-
mo di 9 directory o di elenchi di riprodu-
zione, con una quantità massima di 99

elenco di riproduzione.

Aggiornamento del software
Il software dell'interfaccia può essere aggior-
nato dall'utente.
Nota:
Aggiornando il software può accadere
che le presenti istruzioni d'uso non siano
più attendibili. Scaricare le istruzioni ag-
giornate dal sito www.blaupunkt.de.
Per l'aggiornamento del software sono ne-
cessari:

Aggiornamento
Creare sul supporto dati rimovibile USB
la cartella "Blaupunkt" (Prestare atten-
zione alla corretta scrittura del nome
Blaupunkt!).
Scaricare USB-IF-SW da www.
blaupunkt.de in una directory tempo-
ranea del proprio computer. Esempio:
"C:\temp"
Estrarre i file contenuti nell'archivio ZIP
e copiarli nella directory Blaupunkt del
supporto dati rimovibile USB.
Disattivare il supporto dati USB sul
computer.
Collegare il supporto dati USB al cavo
USB dell'interfaccia.
Accendere l'autoradio.
Il processo di caricamento ha inizio.
Selezionare come fonte audio dell'auto-
radio il multilettore CD (CDC).
L'autoradio indica l'avanzamento del
processo di caricamento. Il titoli e la
durata aumentano. Tramite il tasto
DIS della radio è eventualmente pos-
sibile commutare la visualizzazione.
L'aggiornamento è concluso quando il
display della radio indica Titolo/Brano
99 e la durata indica 59:59.
Se la durata indica 00:00, significa
che l'aggiornamento è fallito. In que-
sto caso ripetere la procedura.
Spegnere e riaccendere l'autoradio.
A questo punto il nuovo software è at-
tivo.

Note:
Ricordare di aggiornare le proprie impo-
stazioni di configurazione, che sono sta-
te cancellate nel corso dell'aggiorname
to del software.
Nel caso in cui sia necessario sovrascri-
vere il software esistente con la medesi-
ma versione, prima caricare una versio-
ne differente e successivamente la ver-
sione desiderata.
Dopo aver concluso positivamente l'ag-
giornamento del software, i file "setup.
hex" nella directory Blaupunkt della me-
moria USB possono venire rinominati o
cancellati.
Se i file "setup.hex" vengono lascia-
ti nella directory Blaupunkt senza ri-
nominarli, ogni volta che la memoria
USB viene collegata ed ogni volta che
la radio viene accesa l'interfaccia cer-
cherà di eseguire un aggiornamento
del software, che terminerà automati-
camente non appena l'interfaccia avrà ri-
conosciuto che il software da caricare è
identico a quello già presente al suo in-
terno. Questa condizione non presenta
alcun altro svantaggio che il tempo ne-
cessario per lo svolgimento del proces-
so medesimo.

Veiligheidsinstructies
Voor het boren van de bevestigingsgaten
moet worden gewaarborgd, dat er geen ka-
bels of voertuigonderdelen kunnen worden
beschadigd.
Monteer de USB-bus niet in de opblaaszone
van de airbags en zorg voor een veilige af-
legplek, zodat de inzittenden van het voer-
tuig bij een noodstop geen gevaar lopen.
Gebruik bij gaten met scherpe randen ka-
beldoorvoeren.
Gedurendedemontageenaan-
sluitingmoetde minpoolvande
batterij worden losgekoppeld.
Hierbij moeten de veiligheidsinstructies
van de voertuigfabrikant (airbag, alarmin-
stallaties, boordcomputers, startonderbre-
kers) worden aangehouden.
Recycling en afvoeren
Gebruik voor hetafvoeren vanhet productde
beschikbare retour- en verzamelsystemen.
