CAUTION—Use of controls or adjustments or performance of procedures other than those
specied herein may result in hazardous radiation exposure.
This laser product is certied as a CLASS 3R laser product, and adheres to the requirements
of the US Federal Laser Product Performance Standard (FLPPS) contained in the regulations
in 21 CFR Subchapter J.
Avoid direct eye contact of CLASS 3R laser energy as it can be hazardous. For reference,
the FLPPS requirements for demonstration laser products, like laser pointers, are limited
to CLASS 3R levels of laser energy. This product uses diractive optics to scatter the beam
energy. This scattering eect causes the energy concentration to drop below the exposure
limits for momentary or accidental viewing at a relatively short distance from the laser
aperture. As with all bright light-sources, when you operate this device in unsupervised
general public areas, it is recommended that up-close access to the light be restricted or
prevented.
This laser display device incorporates a CLASS 3R laser system which, by itself, may be
hazardous. However, this laser display device incorporates a protective housing and
diractive holographic optics in the machine design so that there is no exposure or human
access to laser radiation during operation or maintenance above the CLASS 3R limits. Each
individual laser beamlet’s power is under 1 mW, which is less than a standard laser pointer.
UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES shall attempts be made to open the protective housing or
operate the device if the aperture window is damaged.
All service to this laser display device requiring the protective housing to be opened and/
or removed shall be performed by service personnel or their authorized agents. Opening
the protective housing voids the warranty.
NO LASERS SHOULD BE POINTED INTO THE SKY WITHIN 10 NAUTICAL MILES
(18.5 km) OF AN AIRPORT. IF YOU ARE LOCATED WITHIN THIS SPECIFIC PERIMETER, WE
RECOMMEND THE LASERS BE POINTED DOWN AT THE GROUND SO NO STRAY BEAMS
ARE PROJECTED INTO THE AIR. CHECK WITH YOUR LOCAL AIRPORT OR PROVINCIAL
GUIDELINES FOR FURTHER INFORMATION.

INTRODUCTION
Thank you for purchasing the BlissLights StarPortTM Laser USB. This product is a unique
indoor light xture that uses patented laser and holographic technology to project
thousands of pinpoints of light from a compact USB-powered housing. Sleep under the
stars, create a romantic starlit dinner, or take your home entertainment center to the next
level. We hope you enjoy this incredibly unique lighting experience.
Each unit provides up to 30 x 30 ft of coverage. It has maximum electrical usage of less than
10 Watts and operates in temperatures between 32°F to 104°F (0°C to 40°C).
BEFORE YOU BEGIN
Immediately upon receiving the xture, carefully unpack and check the carton contents to
ensure that all parts are present and in good condition. Notify the retailer immediately and
retain packing material for inspection if any parts appear damaged from shipping or the
carton itself shows signs of mishandling. Save the carton and all packing materials. In the
event that the xture must be returned, it is important that the xture be returned in the
original factory box. Please see parts list below for box contents.

Before operating your laser projector, please read the “Before you Begin” section and
“Notice”section of this user’s guide.

1. Connect the StarPort™ into exible extender if desired.
2. Insert the StarPort™ into a powered USB port, outlet, or battery pack.

INSTALLATION TIPS
• The darker the display area, the brighter your projection will appear. Try to avoid
display areas with strong ambient light sources, such as bright ourescent lights.

1-YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY
Subject to the terms and conditions below, BlissLights LLC, San Marcos, California, U.S.A 92069
(“BlissLights”) warrants to the original retail purchaser that the BlissLights’product (the “Product”)
will be free of defects in material and workmanship for a period of ONE (1) YEAR from the date of
original retail purchase (the“Limited Warranty”). For purposes of this Limited Warranty, an “original
retail purchaser” is an individual or entity who purchases the Product (i) from www.blisslights.com, (ii)
through a phone order placed directly to BlissLights, or (iii) from an authorized BlissLights distributor or
retailer (an “Authorized Reseller”) and with the intent to use the Product for personal consumer use and
not with the intent to resell the Product.
THIS LIMITED WARRANTY IS NOT TRANSFERABLE OR ASSIGNABLE. IF YOU PURCHASE THE PRODUCT
FROM ANY PERSON OR ENTITY OTHER THAN BLISSLIGHTS OR A BLISSLIGHTS AUTHORIZED RESELLER,
THIS LIMITED WARRANTY IS VOID AND THE PURCHASE IS MADE ON AN“AS-IS” BASIS WITH ALL
FAULTS.
If you have questions regarding whether a certain person or entity is a BlissLights Authorized Reseller,
please contact us before making your purchase.
The Limited Warranty does not cover or apply to the following:
1. loss, damage or failure due to alteration, modication or damage to the Product;
2. loss, damage or failure due to normal wear, tear, rust, abuse, improper maintenance, improper
installation, improper storage and/or improper use;
3. the nish on any portion of the Product, such as surface and/or weathering, as this is considered
normal wear; and/or
4. loss, damage for failure due to accident, misuse, abuse and/or negligence or any failure not
relating to defects in material or workmanship.
Within thirty (30) days of discovery of any claimed defect in the Product, you must return the Product,
along with a written description of the alleged defect, and a valid proof of purchase or copy thereof,
to BlissLights (the “Warranty Claim”). The Warranty Claim (including the Product), should be sent,
postage prepaid, to BlissLights LLC, 1224 Exposition Way, Suite #130, San Diego, Ca 92154. If BlissLights
determines that the returned Product is defective, BlissLights will, within thirty (30) days of its receipt
of the Warranty Claim (including the Product), at its election, either repair or replace the returned
Product or refund the purchase price. The determination whether a returned Product is defective shall
be made by BlissLights in its sole discretion with consideration given to the overall performance of the
returned Product. If BlissLights determines the returned Product is defective, BlissLights will reimburse
the postage. If BlissLights determines the return Product is not defective, BlissLights may charge
for any postage and other handling costs it incurs. Your failure to comply with the aforementioned
conditions will invalidate the Limited Warranty and BlissLights shall not have any obligation or liability
with respect to the Product.
THIS LIMITED WARRANTY IS IN LIEU OF ANY AND ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS OR
IMPLIED. EXCEPT FOR THE LIMITED WARRANTY EXPRESSLY PROVIDED HEREIN, THE PRODUCT IS
PROVIDED SOLELY ON AN “AS IS”BASIS WITH ALL FAULTS, AND BLISSLIGHTS MAKES NO WARRANTIES
OF ANY KIND. BLISSLIGHTS HEREBY DISCLAIMS ANY AND ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, WHETHER ORAL,
WRITTEN, EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION ANY WARRANTY OF

MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
THE REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT OF THE PRODUCT OR THE REFUND OF THE PURCHASE PRICE ARE
THE SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE REMEDIES FOR BLISSLIGHTS’BREACH OF THIS LIMITED WARRANTY. IN NO
EVENT SHALL BLISSLIGHTS BE LIABLE TO YOU OR ANY OTHER PERSON OR ENTITY FOR ANY SPECIAL,
INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, CONTINGENT, PUNITIVE OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES.
NOTWITHSTANDING ANY DAMAGES THAT YOU MIGHT INCUR FOR ANY REASON WHATSOEVER,
INCLUDING, WITHOUT ALL DAMAGES REFERENCED HEREIN AND ALL DIRECT OR GENERAL DAMAGES
IN CONTRACT, TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE) OR OTHERWISE, BLISSLIGHTS’ENTIRE AGGREGATE
LIABILITY SHALL BE LIMITED TO THE PURCHASE PRICE OF THE PRODUCT.
Some countries/states may not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain warranties and/or
consequential, and, therefore, the exclusions and limitations above may not apply fully to you. The
exclusions and limitations above shall apply to the maximum extent permitted under applicable law.
If any term is held to be invalid or unenforceable it shall be severed from this Limited Warranty and the
remaining terms of this Limited Warranty shall not be aected.
This Limited Warranty is eective for Products purchased on or after June 30, 2018.
BlissLights reserves the right to modify this Limited Warranty from time to time. Any modication of
this Limited Warranty shall be eective for all Products purchased on or after the eective date of such
modication.
CAUTION
This is not a toy. Young children must be supervised while using this device at all times.
This unit is not waterproof. Use and store indoors or in a dry place.
CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS
Surface clean only with a soft, dry cloth. Unplug unit before cleaning.
DISPOSAL
At the end of its serviceable life, this product should not be treated as household or general waste. It
should be handed over to the applicable collection point for the recycling of electrical and electronic
equipment.
