Advice
• This device is designed to be used indoors as well as outdoors.
• Do not open the unit by removing any cover parts. Do not attempt to repair the unit. Any repairs or
servicing should be done by qualifi ed personell only. Only qualifi ed persons may perform technical
work on the product. The product may not be opened or changed. The components cannot be ser-
viced by the user.
• Never clean the surface of the device with solvents, paint thinners, cleansers or other chemical pro-
ducts. Instead, use a soft, dry cloth or soft brush.
• Save these instructions.
Usage
• Open the battery compartment and put two batteries (type AA) in, regarding the right polarity as
shown on the diagram in the battery compartment.
• Set the clock using the setting wheel or simply turn the clock hands manually (clockwise!).
• The thermometer is classically based on a bimetallic sensor. Whenever it shows an uncorrect tem-
perature, it may help to open the clock housing and gently tap it with your fi ngertips or gently turn
it back a little bit until the bimetallic rod loosens again (as you would, reading a classical aneroid
barometer).
