1. Search for BMPRO SmartSense in your app
store and install on your device. (Fig 1)
2. Launch the app and it will automatically
search for SmartSense gas sensors.
3. While the app is scanning, press the
orange SYNC button. (Fig 2)
4. The SmartSense gas sensor will appear as
a new device under SmartSense Devices,
confirming the sensor has been synced.
5. Before fixing the SmartSense gas sensor,
wipe the base of your gas bottle to remove
any dirt or debris.
6. The sensor mounts to the base of the gas
bottle using magnets. The black rubber
pad on the sensor, between the magnets,
should align with the centre of the gas
bottle. With the pad aligned, attach the
sensor to the gas bottle. (Fig 3,4,5)
7. Return the gas bottle to it’s upright position
and ensure it’s on a flat, even surface and
is level with ground. Even a slight tilt can
reduce the accuracy of the measurement.
8. It may take a few minutes for the contents
to settle and the reading to stabilise.
9. On the app, select the sensor from the
main list to view further details. To change
any settings or rename your sensor, tap the
settings icon to edit.
10.Be sure to adjust the settings on the app
to match your gas bottle. If the size of your
gas bottle isn’t listed you can manually
enter it’s height. To determine the correct
height simply measure the gas bottle from
top to bottom. Do not include the valve or
stand in this measurement.
