6. Supplemental Type Certificate (STC)
An engineering change is classified as a Supplemental Type Certificate if the change
appreciably affects the aircraft detail specification. STC data owns to the STC holder.
STC data are incorporated in to this manual only upon modification that has been
accomplished by LOT Polish Airlines.
7. Effectivity
Refer to Effectivity page for aircraft effectivity cross reference.
8. Wiring Diagram Manual Supplement Contents
A Manual Table of Contents is provided following this Introduction chapter which list each
chapter contained in this Wiring Diagram Manual Supplement.
9. List of Effective Pages
A list of effective pages is provided with each Wiring Diagram Manual Supplement
chapter. All pages in the chapter are listed in sequence on the list of effective pages with
the most recent revision date of each page. A revised list of effective pages is provided
for each revised chapter with every regular Wiring Diagram manual Supplement revision.
Pages revised or added in the current revision will be indicated by asterix.
10. Table of Contents – Chapters
The Table of Contents formats permits the reader to quickly and accurately locate the
material he/she needs.
11. Regular Revisions
a. The Wiring Diagram Manual Supplement should be kept current by periodic revision
service. Revision are numbered consecutively starting with No.1.
b. Each regular Wiring diagram Manual Supplement revision includes a transmittal and
highlights sheet identified by revision number and the date of revision. The highlights
sheet will provide chapter number and a brief summary of each change.
12. Revision Bars
a. Addition, deletions, or revisions to the text in an existing section will be identified by a
revision bar in the left-hand margin of the page opposite to the changed copy.
b. When technical changes cause unchanged text to appear on a different page/pages, a
revision bar will be placed opposite the date of all affected pages providing no other
revision bar appears on the page. These pages will be updated to current regular
revision date.
c. When extensive technical changes are made to the text in an existing section that
requires complete retype of copy, revision bar will appear full length of the text.
d. New illustrations added to an existing section will be identified by a page length
revision bar in the left hand margin.
