・Do NOT overhaul orremodelingthe equipment to prevent fire, malfunction,electricshockand soon.
・Beforedailywork,checkthe conditionofthe equipment.
・Asforcleaningironunitorreplacingspareparts,turnthepoweroff and unplug.Allowsufficienttime for
theirontipstocooldown.
・Usegenuinepartsfor replacement(irontip,heaterelement, heatercollar etc.).
・The use ofimitation parts maycause malfunction and soon.
・Forsolderingoperationpurpose only.

．How to use TB-1175
(A) Preparation before use
・Thesensorinputtypeof thisTB-1175 is[K-Type].Whenconnectingto thePatriotcontroller, make sureto set up
thesensorinputtypeofcontroller [K-Type]as well.
・Proper soldering operation could NOT perform under the condition of 2 different sensor input types between the
ironand theconnector. ( *Refer to Paragraph.7in this manual orthe manualof eachPatriot controller you use).
・Confirmtheinput voltage ofiron andthatof controller isthe same to avoid thedamageof heater element.

How to replace Iron tip and Heater Element
①Turn off the power and wait until the iron tip cools down to
safetytemperature.
②Unlockthe lock-wire.
③After confirming theirontip becomes cool enough,
hold the plastic area of iron tip and pull straight it out from
the iron grip.
Do NOT use anytools in order to pull outthe tip.
＊To replace irontip onlyProceed to ⑥
＊To replace both of iron tip and heater Proceedto ④
④Hold the heater element and pull straight it out from the
irongrip.
⑤Insert a new heater element into the terminal hole securely.
There is no polarity, you can insert it any direction.
Align the edge of iron unit and the silver-colored-line on the
heater.
⑥Insert a new irontip into the iron grip
Align each point of arrow-mark onthe tip and grip.
⑦ Finally, fasten thelock-wire.

7. Set-up the controller sensor type
The sensor type of this soldering iron is [K-type]. When connecting to the Patriot controller, please make sure the
sensor typeofcontrollerisalso[K-type].
