Cleaning the fluff filter
Clean the fluff filter after each dry ing operation.
1. Open the door, remove fluff from door/door area.
2. Pull out and fold open the fluff filter.
3. Remove the fluff (by wiping the filter with your hand).
If the fluff filter is very dirty or blocked, rinse with warm wa ter and dry
thoroughly.
4. Close and reinsert the fluff filter.
Switching off the dryer
Turn the programme selector to Off.
Do not leave laundry in the dryer.
Removing the laundry
The automatic anti-crease functio n causes the drum to m ove at specific intervals, th e washing remains
loose and fluffy for an hour (two hou rs if the additional cReduced Ironing function is also selected-
depending on model).

Labelling of fabrics
Follow the manufacturer's care infor mation.

Do not tumble-dry the follow ing fabrics for example:
– Impermeable fabrics (e.g. rubber-coated fa brics).
– Delicate materials (silk or curtains made from synthetic material) athey may crease.
– Dripping wet washing high aenergy con sumption!
– Laundry c ontaminated with oil.
Drying tips
– To ensure a con sistent result, sort the laundry by fabric type and drying programme.
– Always dry very small items (e.g. bab y socks) together with large items of l aundry (e.g. hand
towel).
– Close zips, hooks an d eyelets, and button up covers.

– Do not ove r-dry easy-care laundry arisk of crea sing!
Allow laundry to finish drying in th e air.
– Do not dry woolens in the dryer, onl y use to freshen them up aPage 7, Woollens finish

– Do not iron laundry immediately after drying, fold items up and leave for a while athe
remaining moisture will t hen be distributed evenly.
– Machi ne-knitted fabrics (e.g. T-shirts or jerseys) often shrink th e first time they are dried a
do not use the Extra Dry programm e.
– Starched laundry is not alway s suitable for dryers astar ch leaves behind a coating tha t
adversely affects the drying operation.
– Use the correc t dosage of fabric softener as per the m anufacturer's instructions when
washing the laundry to b e dried.
– Use the tim er programme for small loads athis i mproves the drying result.
Environmental protection/energy-saving tips
– Before drying, spin the laundry thoroughly in the washing mac hine athe higher the spin
speed the shorter the drying time wi ll be (consumes less energy), al so spin easy-care
laundry.
– Put in, but do not exceed, th e maximum recommended quantity of laundr y a
programme overview aPage 7.
– Make sure the room is well ventilate d during drying.
– Clean the fluff filter after every drying cycle aPage 4.
– Do not obstruct or seal up the air inlet.

Check the exhau st air duct. Clean the exhaust air du ct every six months.

1. Switch off the dryer and allow it to cool dow n.
2. Disconnect the ma ins plug.
3. Remove the exha ust air duct.
4. Clean the exhaust air duct.
5. Refit the exhaust air duct aInstallation instruc tions for exhaus t air duct.
Moisture sensors
The dryer is equip ped with stainless stee l moisture sensors.
Moisture sensors meas ure the moisture level of the laundry .
After sustained, repe ated operation, a fine layer of limes cale may form
on the moistur e sensors.
1. Open the door.
2. Clean the moisture sensors using a slightly damp sponge with a rough
surface.
Do not use steel wool or a brasive materials.
Programme end on ce lights up in th e display.
Interrupt programme removing or adding laundry.
The drying cycle can be inte rrupted for a brief period so that laundry may be added or r emoved.
The programme selected must then be resumed and completed.
Never switch the dryer off before the drying process has ended.
Drum and door may b e hot!
1. Open door, the drying process is interrupted.
2. Load or remove laundry and close door.
3. If required, select a ne w programme and additiona l functions.
4. Press the Start/Stop button.
