Sicherheitshinweise für Gewürzmühlen
Lesen Sie alle der Gewürzmühle und dem verwendeten
Elektrowerkzeug beigefügten Sicherheitshinweise und
Anweisungen. Versäumnisse bei der Einhaltung der Si-
cherheitshinweise und Anweisungen können elektrischen
Schlag, Brand und/oder schwere Verletzungen verursa-
chen.
Bitte beachten Sie die Abbildungen im vorderen Teil der Betriebsanleitung.
uBehandeln Sie die Gewürzmühle mit Sorgfalt. Durch Stöße, Schläge
oder dem Herunterfallen aus bereits geringer Höhe kann das Produkt be-
schädigt werden.
uHalten Sie die Gewürzmühle fern von Feuchtigkeit (nasse Hände, Re-
gen etc.) und extremer Hitze (Sonneneinstrahlung, heiße Flächen,
Wärmequellen etc.). Das Produkt könnte beschädigt werden.
uStecken Sie keine Gegenstände in das Mahlwerk und mahlen Sie nur
die im bestimmungsgemäßen Gebrauch aufgeführten Lebensmittel.

uLegen Sie den Schrauber samt Gewürzmühle immer auf einer ebenen
und stabilen Unterlage ab. Beim Herunterfallen besteht Verletzungsge-

Produkt- und Leistungsbeschreibung
Bestimmungsgemäßer Gebrauch
Die Gewürzmühle ist je nach Verschlusskappe manuell oder in Verbindung
mit dem Akku-Schrauber IXO bestimmt zum Mahlen von Salz und Pfeffer und
anderen getrockneten Gewürzen. Sie ist nur für den privaten Gebrauch im
Haushalt bestimmt. Die Gewürzmühle darf nur in Verbindung mit folgenden
Elektrowerkzeugen benutzt werden:
– Bosch IXO (3603J810.., 3603J591.., 3603J593.., 3603JA80..,
3603JC70.., 3603JC71..)

stellungen auf den Grafikseiten.

Montage
Verschlusskappe wechseln (siehe Bilder A1–A2)
– Drehen Sie den Verschlussring (3) gegen den Uhrzeigersinn bis zum An-
schlag und ziehen Sie die Verschlusskappe ((1) oder (2)) nach oben ab.
– Setzen Sie die gewünschte Verschlusskappe ((1) oder (2)) so auf den
Gewürzbehälter (4) auf, dass die Sechskantaufnahme der Verschluss-
kappe mit der Antriebsstange (6) des Mahlwerks zusammenpasst und die
Zapfen des Verschlussrings (3) in die Aussparungen am Gewürzbehälter
greifen.
– Drehen Sie den Verschlussring (3) im Uhrzeigersinn bis zum Anschlag
und prüfen Sie den festen Sitz der Verschlusskappe.
Gewürzbehälter füllen (siehe Bild B)
– Drehen Sie den Verschlussring (3) gegen den Uhrzeigersinn bis zum An-
schlag und ziehen Sie die Verschlusskappe ((1) oder (2)) nach oben ab.
– Füllen Sie in den Gewürzbehälter (4) das gewünschte Gewürz ein. Füllen
Sie dabei den Gewürzbehälter nicht bis zum Rand.
– Montieren Sie wieder die gewünschte Verschlusskappe ((1) oder (2)).
Betrieb
Mahlgrad einstellen (siehe Bild C)
– Mahlgrad feiner:
Drehen Sie zum Einstellen des Mahlgrads die Einstellschraube (8) im
Uhrzeigersinn.
– Mahlgrad gröber:
Drehen Sie zum Einstellen des Mahlgrads die Einstellschraube (8) gegen
den Uhrzeigersinn.
Hinweis: Drehen Sie die Einstellschraube (8) des Mahlwerks nicht zu fest
zu, um Schäden am Mahlwerk zu vermeiden. Drehen Sie die Einstellschrau-
be (8) nicht zu weit auf, damit sie nicht herausfällt.

Gewürzmühle aufstecken (siehe Bild D)
– Setzen Sie den Sechskantadapter (9) der Verschlusskappe (1) direkt in
die Werkzeugaufnahme des Schraubers ein.
Gewürze mahlen
Drehrichtung einstellen
IXO (3603JA80.., 3603JC70.., 3603JC71..) (siehe Bilder E1–E2)
– Zum Einstellen des Rechtslaufs am Schrauber schieben Sie den Drehrich-
tungsumschalter (10) bis zum Anschlag nach vorn.
IXO (3 603 J81 0.., 3 603 J59 1.., 3 603 J59 3..) (siehe Bild E3)
– Zum Einstellen des Rechtslaufs am Schrauber drücken Sie den Drehrich-
tungsumschalter (10) von rechts bis zum Anschlag hinein.
Gewürze mahlen mit dem IXO
Zum Mahlen von Gewürzen mit dem IXO muss die Verschlusskappe (1) mon-
tiert sein (siehe „Verschlusskappe wechseln (siehe Bilder A1–A2)“, Sei-
te11).
– Nehmen Sie den Gehäusedeckel (5) ab.
– Halten Sie die Gewürzmühle und den Schrauber jeweils mit einer Hand
fest.
– Drücken Sie zum Mahlen der Gewürze den Ein-/Ausschalter des Schrau-
bers und halten Sie ihn gedrückt.
– Nehmen Sie nach dem Mahlen die Gewürzmühle wieder vom Schrauber
ab.
– Stecken Sie den Gehäusedeckel (5) wieder in den Gewürzbehälter (4).
Der Gehäusedeckel schützt das Mahlwerk vor Beschädigungen und Ver-
schmutzungen von außen.
Gewürze mahlen von Hand (siehe Bild F)
Zum Mahlen von Gewürzen von Hand muss die Verschlusskappe (2) mon-
tiert sein (siehe „Verschlusskappe wechseln (siehe Bilder A1–A2)“, Sei-
te11).
– Nehmen Sie den Gehäusedeckel (5) ab.
– Drehen Sie die Verschlusskappe (2) (nicht den Verschlussring (3)!) im
Uhrzeigersinn.

– Stecken Sie den Gehäusedeckel (5) wieder in den Gewürzbehälter (4).
Der Gehäusedeckel schützt das Mahlwerk vor Beschädigungen und Ver-
schmutzungen von außen.
Wartung und Service
Reinigung
– Geben Sie Gewürzreste in den Müll.
– Wischen Sie Verschmutzungen außen mit einem feuchten, weichen Tuch
ab. Verwenden Sie keine scheuernden Reinigungsmittel oder Lösemittel.
uTauchen Sie die Gewürzmühle nicht in Wasser und reinigen Sie sie
nicht in der Spülmaschine. Das Produkt könnte beschädigt werden.
– Lassen Sie vor dem Zusammenbau alle Teile sorgfältig trocknen.

uHandle the spice grinder with care. Impact, shock or falling down, even
from low heights, can damage the product.
uKeep the spice grinder away from moisture (wet hands, rain, etc.)
and extreme heat (sunlight, hot surfaces, heat sources, etc.). The
product could become damaged.

Safety Instructions for Screwdrivers with
Spice Grinders
uAlways set the screwdriver with the spice grinder down on a level
and stable surface. There is a risk of injury if it falls down.

Product Description and Specifications
Intended Use
Depending on cap type, the spice grinder is intended for grinding salt and
pepper or other spices, either manually or with the cordless IXO screw-
driver. It is intended only for private and domestic use. The spice grinder
may only be used with the following power tools:
– Bosch IXO (3603J810.., 3603J591.., 3603J593.., 3603JA80..,
3603JC70.., 3603JC71..)

Assembly
Changing the cap (see figuresA1–A2)
– Turn the lock ring(3) anticlockwise to the stop and pull the cap ((1) or
(2)) up and off.
– Fit the required cap ((1) or (2)) in such a manner onto the spice con-
tainer(4) that the hexagon retainer of the cap fits on the drive bar (6) of
the grinding mechanism, and the cogs of the lock ring (3) engage in the
recesses of the spice container.
– Turn the lock ring(3) clockwise to the stop and check that the cap is
seated securely.
Filling the spice container (see figureB)
– Turn the lock ring(3) anticlockwise to the stop and pull the cap ((1) or
(2)) up and off.
– Fill the desired spice into the spice container(4). Do not fill the spice
container to the top.
– Fit the required cap ((1) or (2)) again.

Operation
Adjusting the grinding setting (see figureC)
–Finer grinding:
Turn the adjustment screw(8) clockwise to adjust the grinding setting.
–Coarser grinding:
Turn the adjustment screw(8) anticlockwise to adjust the grinding set-
ting.
Note: Do not screw the adjustment screw(8) of the grinding mechanism too
tight in order to prevent damage to the grinding mechanism. Do not unscrew
the adjustment screw(8) too far, otherwise it will fall out.
Attaching the spice grinder (see figureD)
– Insert the hexagon adapter(9) of the cap(1) directly into the tool holder
of the screwdriver.
Grinding spices
Setting the Rotational Direction
IXO (3603JA80.., 3603JC70.., 3603JC71..) (see figures E1–E2)
– To set the screwdriver to clockwise rotation, slide the rotational direction
switch(10) all the way forward.
IXO (3 603 J81 0.., 3 603 J59 1.., 3 603 J59 3..) (see figureE3)
– To set the screwdriver to clockwise rotation, press the rotational direc-
tion switch(10) all the way in from the right.
Grinding spices with the IXO
To grind spices with the IXO, the cap(1) must be fitted (see "Changing the
cap (see figuresA1–A2)", page16).
– Remove the closing cap (5).
– Hold the spice grinder with one hand and the screwdriver with the other
hand.
– To grind the spice, press and hold the on/off switch of the screwdriver.
– After enough spice has been ground, remove the grinding mechanism
from the screwdriver.
– Fit the closing cap(5) back onto the spice container(4). The closing cap
protects the grinding mechanism against external damage and debris.

Grinding spices manually (see figureF)
To grind spices manually, the cap(2) must be fitted (see "Changing the cap
(see figuresA1–A2)", page16).
– Remove the closing cap (5).
– Turn the cap(2) (not the lock ring(3)!) clockwise.
– Fit the closing cap(5) back onto the spice container(4). The closing cap
protects the grinding mechanism against external damage and debris.
Maintenance and Service
Cleaning
– Discard any spice residue into the waste bin.
– Clean the exterior of the spice grinder with a soft damp cloth. Do not use
abrasive cleaning agents or solvents.
uDo not immerse the spice grinder into water and do not clean it in the
dishwasher. The product could become damaged.
– Allow all components to dry thoroughly before assembling them.
