Spare parts, accessories
Our original spareparts and original (special) acces-
sories aredesigned to work with thefeatures and
requirements of our vacuumcleaners. Wetherefore
recommend that you only useour original spareparts
and original (special) accessories. This will ensurethat
your vacuumcleaner has a long servicelifeand that the
quality of its cleaning performancewill remain consist-
ently high throughout.

Using unsuitableor inferior-quality spareparts and

In thefollowing cases,you must stop theappliance
immediately and contact theafter-sales service:
− If you haveaccidentally vacuumed up some liquid
or liquid has entered theinsideof theappliance;
− If theappliancehas been dropped and damaged.
Protect thevacuumcleaner fromoutsideweather con-
ditions,moistureand sources of heat.
Do not pour flammablesubstances or substances con-
taining alcohol onto thefilters (motor protection filter,
exhaust filter,etc.).
Thevacuumcleaner is not suitablefor useon con-
struction sites. => Vacuuming up building rubblemay
damagetheappliance.
Switch off theappliancewhen it is not in use.
For safety reasons,theapplianceis fitted with an over-
heating protection system to safeguard thebattery
and motors. Theappliancewill switch off automati-
cally if it or thebattery is too hot.
>=Theappliancewill need around 30 minutes to cool
down beforeit can beused again.
Thepackaging is designed to protect thevacuum
cleaner frombeing damaged during transportation.
Wethereforerecommend keeping thepackaging for
thepurposeof futuretransportation.

Protect thebattery fromheat sources,for example

Fumes may bereleased if thebattery is damaged or
used improperly. Circulatefresh air,and seek medical
assistancein theevent of physical symptoms arising
as a result of exposure.
>=Thefumes may irritatetheairway.
If thebattery is used incorrectly,liquid may leak out of
thebattery. Avoid touching theliquid. In theevent of
accidental contact,rinsetheaffected area with water.
If theliquid comes into contact with theeyes,seek
medical assistance.
>= If battery liquid leaks,it can irritateor burn the
skin.
Transportation information
TheLi-ion batteries in theappliancearesubject to the
requirements of dangerous goods legislation. Thebat-
teries can betransported by theuser by road without
any further requirements. In theevent that they are
shipped by a third party (e.g. transported by air or
freight carrier),special requirements regarding packag-
ing and identification must bemet. In this case, a dan-
gerous goods expert must beconsulted when preparing
thegoods for dispatch.
Information on disposal
Vacuumcleaners,batteries,accessories and packag-
ing should berecycled in an environmentally friendly
manner.
Do not disposeof thevacuumcleaner or thebatteries in
thehousehold rubbish.
Packaging
Thepackaging is designed to protect thevacuum
cleaner frombeing damaged during transportation.
It is madeof environmentally friendly materials and
can berecycled. Disposeof packaging that is no
longer required at an appropriaterecycling point.
Old appliances
This appliancecontains rechargeablelithium-ion
batteries. Theappliancemust thereforeonly be
disposed of by an authorised after-sales serviceor
dealer.
Batteries
Pleasefollow thenotes on transport.
Integrated batteries may only beremoved by special-
ist personnel for thepurposeof disposal. Opening
thehousing shell may damagethevacuumcleaner.
Only for qualified professional:
To removethebattery fromthevacuumcleaner,
press theon/off switch (Fig. 4) until thebattery is
fully discharged. Unscrew thescrews on thehousing
and takeoff thehousing shell to removethebattery.
To prevent a short circuit,disconnect thebattery
connections individually oneafter theother and
then insulatetheterminals.
Even in thecaseof completedischarge, thebattery
still contains a residual capacity that may bere-
leased in theevent of a short circuit.

This instruction manual describes various BBH3/BCH3
models,which means that some of theequipment fea-
tures and functions described may not apply to your
model. You should only useoriginal Bosch accessories,
which havebeen specially developed for your vacuum
cleaner,to achievethebest possiblevacuuming re-
sults.

Charging
!Caution:
Beforeusing thevacuumcleaner for thefirst time,
fully chargethebatteries.
To chargetheappliance, only usethecharging cable
included with theappliance. Thecharging cable
must only beconnected and operated as specified
on therating plate. Do not chargetheapplianceat
temperatures below 0 °Cor above40 °C.

Plug thecharging cableinto theconnection at the
rear of theappliance.

Thecharging indicator is flashing slowly in white
when theapplianceis charging.
Oncethebattery is fully charged,thecharging indi-
cator lights up whiteand goes out after a few minu-
tes. Thebattery will stop charging. Disconnect the
appliancefromthemains briefly to check. Theindi-
cator will then light up whiteagain.
It is safeto leavetheapplianceconnected to the
charging cableand socket even when it is fully char-
ged.
It is normal for thepower adapter and vacuumclea-
ner to heat up and this is not a causefor concern.

Open theaccessory holder using therecessed grip
and removethecrevicenozzle. Placeit on theair
intakeopening of thecordless handheld vacuum
cleaner and click into place.
Thecrevicenozzlecan beextended as required. To
do this,press theunlock button,pull out thecrevice
nozzleand engageit in theend position.
After use, push thecrevicenozzletogether again,
placeit in theaccessory holder and closetheholder.

Open theaccessory compartment and removethe
combination nozzle. Placeit on theair intakeope-
ning of theupright vacuumcleaner and click into
place.
Thefurniturebrush attachment can bepushed to the
side. Theupholstery nozzleis located underneath.
Thecombination nozzlecan also beplaced on thetip
of thecrevicenozzle.
After use, placethecombination nozzleback in the
accessory compartment for storage, closetheac-
cessory compartment,clicking it into place.

surethat it is seated correctly.

Emptying the dust container
In order to achievethebest possiblevacuuming re-
sults,thedust container should beemptied after every
useor,at thelatest,when dust at onepoint in thedust
container has reached themarking.
Werecommend that you not fill thedust container bey-
ond themarking,as this leads to considerablesoiling
of thefilter.

Runtime
Likeevery other Li-Ion battery thebattery is subject
to natural wear as well. That means thebattery ca-
pacity and thus runtime decreaseover time. This is a
natural aging process and not theresult of a material/
production failureor a product defect.

and that thefilter unit and dust container arecorrect-
ly seated.
Cleaning the filter
Theouter filter unit and filter cartridgeshould beclea-
ned at regular intervals in order to ensureoptimum
operation of thevacuumcleaner.
!Caution: Thefilter can only becleaned if theappli-
anceis switched off.
Never vacuumwithout theouter filter unit and its
fitted filter cartridge.

a) It is usually sufficient to lightly shakeor tap out the
wholefilter unit when thedust container is emptied in
order to dislodgeany particles of dirt.
b) If this is not sufficient,you can usea dry cloth to remo-
vedirt particles fromthesurface.

a) Removethefilter cartridgefromthefilter unit.
b) Firstly,clean thefilter cartridgeby tapping out thedirt.
c) Pull out thefoamfilter fromthemotor protection and
rinseseparately.
Allow thefoamfilter and motor protection filter to
dry completely (approx. 24 hours)
After fitting thefoamfilter,insert thefilter unit into the
dust container.
New filters can beobtained fromour after-sales ser-
vice, if required.
Cleaning the floor nozzle
Beforecarrying out any maintenance, switch off the
vacuumcleaner and disconnect it fromthecharging
cable.

Using thegrooveprovided,cut through threads and
hairs wound round therollers with scissors.
Push thebrush roller in sideways along theguiderod
in thefloor tool and lock in placeusing therelease
button.

Caution: The floor nozzle must only be put into
operation with the brush roller fitted.

Caution:
Floor nozzles aresubject to a certain amount of
wear,depending on thetypeof hard floors you have
(e.g. rough,rustic tiles). You must thereforecheck
theundersideof thefloor tool at regular intervals.
Worn undersides of floor nozzles may havesharp
edges that can damagedelicatehard floors,such as
parquet or linoleum. Themanufacturer does not ac-
cept any responsibility for damagecaused by worn
floor tools.
Care
Beforecleaning thehand stick vacuumcleaner or hand-
held cordless vacuumcleaner,it must beswitched off
and disconnected fromthecharging cable. Thevacuum
cleaner and accessories can becleaned using a stan-
dard commercially-availableplastic cleaner.
!Caution: Do not useabrasivematerials,glass-
cleaning agents or all-purposecleaning products.
Never immersethevacuumcleaner in water.

充電
! 小心：
首次使用吸塵器前，請先將電池充滿。
務必使用隨附的充電器為電器充電。充電器必須依照額定銘
牌上的指示連接與操作。請勿在低於 0°C或高於40°C的溫度
下充電。
