In thefollowing cases,you must stop theappliance
immediately and contact theafter-sales service:
− If you haveaccidentally vacuumed up some liquid
or liquid has entered theinsideof theappliance;
− If theappliancehas been dropped and damaged.
Protect thevacuumcleaner fromoutsideweather con-
ditions,moistureand sources of heat.
Do not pour flammablesubstances or substances con-
taining alcohol onto thefilters (motor protection filter,
exhaust filter,etc.).
Thevacuumcleaner is not suitablefor useon con-
struction sites. => Vacuuming up building rubblemay
damagetheappliance.
Switch off theappliancewhen it is not in use.
For safety reasons,theapplianceis fitted with an over-
heating protection system to safeguard thebattery
and motors. Theappliancewill switch off automati-
cally if it or thebattery is too hot.

as a result of exposure.

If thebattery is used incorrectly,liquid may leak out of
thebattery. Avoid touching theliquid. In theevent of
accidental contact,rinsetheaffected area with water.
If theliquid comes into contact with theeyes,seek
medical assistance.

Transportation information
TheLi-ion batteries in theappliancearesubject to the
requirements of dangerous goods legislation. Thebat-
teries can betransported by theuser by road without
any further requirements. In theevent that they are
shipped by a third party (e.g. transported by air or
freight carrier),special requirements regarding packag-
ing and identification must bemet. In this case, a dan-
gerous goods expert must beconsulted when preparing
thegoods for dispatch.
Information on disposal
Vacuumcleaners,batteries,accessories and packag-
ing should berecycled in an environmentally friendly
manner.
Do not disposeof thevacuumcleaner or thebatteries in
thehousehold rubbish.
Packaging
Thepackaging is designed to protect thevacuum
cleaner frombeing damaged during transportation.
It is madeof environmentally friendly materials and
can berecycled. Disposeof packaging that is no
longer required at an appropriaterecycling point.
Old appliances
This appliancecontains rechargeablelithium-ion
batteries. Theappliancemust thereforeonly be
disposed of by an authorised after-sales serviceor
dealer.
Batteries
Pleasefollow thenotes on transport.
Integrated batteries may only beremoved by special-
ist personnel for thepurposeof disposal. Opening
thehousing shell may damagethevacuumcleaner.
Only for qualified professional:
To removethebattery fromthevacuumcleaner,
press theon/off switch (Fig. 4) until thebattery is
fully discharged. Unscrew thescrews on thehousing
and takeoff thehousing shell to removethebattery.
To prevent a short circuit,disconnect thebattery
connections individually oneafter theother and
then insulatetheterminals.
Even in thecaseof completedischarge, thebattery
still contains a residual capacity that may bere-
leased in theevent of a short circuit.
