Warnung
• Dieser Infrarotstrahler ist nur für die Bestrahlung des menschlichen Körpers vorgesehen.
• Verwenden Sie während der Anwendung stets die beiliegende Schutzbrille.
• Vor dem Gebrauch ist sicherzustellen, dass das Gerät und Zubehör keine sichtbaren Schäden aufweisen
und jegliches Verpackungsmaterial entfernt wird. Benutzen Sie es im Zweifelsfall nicht und wenden Sie
sich an Ihren Händler oder an die angegebene Kundendienstadresse.
• Achten Sie stets auf einen sicheren und ebenen Stand Ihres Gerätes.
• Das Gehäuse der Lampe und der Infrarotstrahler erwärmt sich stark im Betrieb. Bei Berührung besteht
Verbrennungsgefahr! Die Lampe vor dem Berühren immer erst abkühlen lassen.
• Der einzuhaltende Abstand von brennbaren Gegenständen zum Infrarotstrahler beträgt mindestens 1,0 m.
Hängen Sie das Gerät nicht an die Wand oder an die Decke.

• Dieses Gerät ist nicht dafür bestimmt, durch Personen (einschließlich Kinder) mit eingeschränkten phy-
sischen, sensorischen oder geistigen Fähigkeiten oder mangels Erfahrung und/oder mangels Wissen
benutzt zu werden, es sei denn, sie werden durch eine für Ihre Sicherheit zuständige Person beaufsichtigt
oder erhielten von ihr Anweisungen, wie das Gerät zu benutzen ist.
• Nicht bei Babys und Kleinkindern anwenden.
• Kinder sollten beaufsichtigt werden, damit sie nicht mit dem Gerät spielen.
• Dieses Gerät ist nicht dafür bestimmt an Wickelkommoden, Babybetten oder ähnlichem angewendet zu

Das Wärmeempfinden kann in den folgenden Fällen eingeschränkt oder erhöht sein:
– bei diabetischen Patienten,
– bei Personen mit Schläfrigkeit, Demenz, oder Konzentrationsstörungen,
– bei Personen mit krankheitsbedingten Hautveränderungen,
– bei Personen mit vernarbten Hautarealen im Anwendungsgebiet,
– bei Personen mit Allergien,
– bei Kindern und älteren Personen,
– nach der Einnahme von Medikamenten oder Alkohol.
• Betrieben Sie das Gerät nicht, wenn Sie Träger eines Implantats sind, besonders, wenn sich dieses im
Bereich der zu behandelnden Körperpartie befindet. Konsultieren Sie im Zweifelsfall Ihren Arzt.
• Wenn Sie schwanger sind, betreiben Sie das Gerät nicht in der Nähe Ihres Unterleibs, um Überhitzung in
diesem Bereich zu vermeiden. Konsultieren Sie im Zweifelsfall Ihren Arzt.
• Bei akut entzündlichen Prozessen sollte eine Bestrahlung erst nach Rücksprache mit einem Arzt
durchgeführt werden.
• Begrenzen Sie immer die Anwendungdauer und kontrollieren Sie die Reaktion der Haut.
• Medikamente, Kosmetika oder Nahrungsmittel können unter Umständen zu einer überempfindlichen oder
allergischen Reaktion der Haut führen. Die Bestrahlung ist in diesem Fall umgehend zu beenden.
• Betreiben Sie den Infrarotstrahler nur in einem solchen Abstand zu Ihrem gewünschten Bestrahlungsge-
biet, dass während der Behandlung keine Hautirritationen, wie Kribbeln, Jucken, Brennen oder zu hohes
Wärmeempfinden zu spüren sind. In diesem Falle brechen Sie die Behandlung ab. Alternativ vergrößern
Sie den Bestrahlungsabstand und/oder verkürzen die Bestrahlungsdauer.
• Dieses Gerät ist nicht für eine Bestrahlung von oben bestimmt.
• Unterschreiten Sie nicht die in dieser Anleitung genannten Mindestabstände.
• Bei Dauerbetrieb des Gerätes ist besondere Vorsicht und Aufmerksamkeit geboten – niemals während
einer Bestrahlung einschlafen!
• Allzulange Anwendung kann zu Hautverbrennung führen.
• Den Infrarotstrahler nicht anfassen oder herausschrauben wenn die Netzleitung eingesteckt ist.
• Kinder erkennen die Gefahren, die in Verbindung mit Elektrogeräten entstehen, nicht. Sorgen Sie dafür,
dass das Gerät nicht unbeaufsichtigt von Kindern benützt werden kann.
• Das Gerät darf nur unter Aufsicht betrieben werden.
• Halten Sie Kinder vom Verpackungsmaterial fern (Erstickungsgefahr!).
• Das Gerät darf im erwärmten Zustand nicht ab- oder zugedeckt oder verpackt aufbewahrt werden.
• Ziehen Sie stets den Netzstecker und lassen Sie das Gerät abkühlen, ehe Sie es anfassen.
• Das Gerät darf im angeschlossenen Zustand nicht mit feuchten Händen angefasst werden; es darf kein
Wasser auf das Gerät spritzen. Das Gerät darf nur im vollständig trockenen Zustand betrieben werden.
• Schützen Sie das Gerät vor stärkeren Stößen.
• Den Netzstecker nicht an der Netzleitung aus der Steckdose herausziehen.
• Im Falle von Defekten oder Betriebsstörungen trennen Sie das Gerät sofort vom Stromanschluss.
Wenn die Netzleitung des Gerätes beschädigt ist, muss diese durch den Hersteller oder eine
autorisierte Kundendienststelle ersetzt werden, um Verletzungen zu vermeiden.
• Die Trennung vom Versorgungsnetz ist nur gewährleistet, wenn der Netzstecker aus der Steckdose gezo-
gen ist.
• Bei Babys und Kindern besteht die Gefahr einer Strangulation durch Einwickeln in der Netzleitung.
Allgemeine Hinweise
Achtung
• Produkt ist nicht zur Raumbeleuchtung im Haushalt geeignet.
• Dieses Gerät ist nicht für den gewerblichen oder klinischen Gebrauch bestimmt, sondern ausschließlich
zur Eigenanwendung im privaten Haushalt!
• Bei gesundheitlichen Bedenken irgendwelcher Art konsultieren Sie Ihren Hausarzt!
• Vor Gebrauch des Gerätes ist jegliches Verpackungsmaterial zu entfernen.
• Leuchtmittel sind von der Garantie ausgenommen.

Reparatur
Achtung
• Sie dürfen das Gerät nicht öffnen. Bitte versuchen Sie das Gerät nicht selbst zu reparieren. Hierbei könnten
ernsthafte Verletzungen die Folge sein. Bei Nichtbeachten erlischt die Garantie.
• Wenden Sie sich bei Reparaturen an den Kundenservice oder an einen autorisierten Händler.
3. Inbetriebnahme
Aufstellen
Entnehmen Sie das Gerät der Verpackung. Entfernen Sie vor Gebrauch des Gerätes alle Verpackungsmaterialien.
Kontrollieren Sie vor Gebrauch, ob der Infrarotstrahler vollständig eingeschraubt ist. Stellen Sie es auf einer ebe-
nen Fläche auf. Das Gerät hat einen verstellbaren Lampenschirm. Stellen Sie die Neigung des Leuchtschirmes
nach Ihren individuellen Bedürfnissen ein.
Netzanschluss
Das Gerät nur an die auf dem Typschild angegebene Netzspannung anschließen.
Hinweis:
• Achten Sie darauf, dass sich eine Steckdose in der Nähe des Aufstellplatzes befindet.
• Verlegen Sie das Netzkabel so, dass niemand darüber stolpern kann.
4. Bedienung
1Lampe einschalten
Zur Netzverbindung den Stecker vollständig in die Steckdose stecken.
2Licht genießen
Die empfohlene Behandlungsdauer beträgt max. 12 Minuten. Zu Beginn empfehlen wir eine kürzere
Bestrahlungsdauer zu wählen. Die Haut einzelner Menschen kann jedoch auch bei korrekter Anwendung
des Gerätes auf die Wärmebestrahlung überempfindlich (z.B. starke Rötung, Blasenbildung, Juckreiz,
starkes Schwitzen) oder allergisch reagieren.
3Worauf sollten Sie achten
Der Abstand zwischen Infrarotstahler und dem bestrahlten Körperteil sollte folgende Werte nicht unter-
schreiten: mindestens 80 cm.
Verwenden Sie während der Anwendung stets die beiliegende Schutzbrille. Die Schutzbrille entspricht
den Anforderungen der EN 171:2002 und dient zum Schutz der Augen.
ACHTUNG: Blicken Sie niemals ohne Schutzbrille direkt in das Infrarotlicht.
Grundsätzlich gilt:
Kontrollieren Sie regelmäßig die bestrahlte Körperstelle. Beenden Sie bei Anzeichen von Überempfind-
lichkeit oder allergischer Reaktion umgehend die Bestrahlung und konsultieren Sie einen Arzt.
4Lampe ausschalten
Ziehen Sie den Netzstecker aus der Steckdose.
ACHTUNG!
Die Lampe ist nach dem Gebrauch heiß. Lassen Sie die Lampe zuerst lange genug abkühlen bevor Sie
diese aufräumen und / oder verpacken!
Bitte beachten Sie, die Netzleitung darf nicht zur Aufbewahrung oder im Betrieb um die Lampe gewi-
ckelt werden!
5. Schutzbrille
Das Produkt entspricht der PSA-Verordnung (EU) 2016/425 (Fundstelle: OJL 81, 31.03.2016, p. 51-98). Sowie
der harmonisierten Norm EN 166:2001 (Fundstelle: OJC 209, 15.06.2018, p. 18) und der Norm EN171:2002.
Warn- und Sicherheitshinweise
Lesen Sie diese Gebrauchsanweisung sorgfältig! Ein Nichtbeachten der nachfolgenden Hinweise kann Personen-
oder Sachschäden verursachen. Bewahren Sie die Gebrauchsanweisung auf und machen Sie diese auch ande-
ren Anwendern zugänglich. Übergeben Sie diese Gebrauchsanweisung bei Weitergabe des Produkts.

WARNUNG
• Halten Sie Kinder von Verpackungsmaterial fern. Es besteht Erstickungsgefahr.
• Kinder dürfen nicht mit der Schutzbrille spielen.
• Prüfen Sie die Schutzbrille vor der Anwendung auf äußere Schäden (z.B. Risse oder Löcher). Ist die Schutzbrille
beschädigt, dürfen Sie die Schutzbrille NICHT weiterverwenden.
• Werkstoffe der Schutzbrille, die in Kontakt mit der Haut des Trägers kommen können, könnten bei Personen mit
empfindlicher Haut allergische Reaktionen hervorrufen.
• Achten Sie darauf, dass die Schutzbrille nicht mit Fetten, Ölen oder Alkohol in Kontakt kommt (z.B. Reinigungs-
mittel oder Gesichtswasser).
• Beachten Sie, die Schutzbrille ist lichtundurchlässig und schränkt dadurch Ihre räumliche Wahrnehmung ein.
• Bedienen Sie die Infrarotlampe NICHT mit aufgesetzter Schutzbrille.
• Bewegen Sie sich NICHT mit aufgesetzter Schutzbrille.
• Achten Sie darauf, dass Sie mit aufgesetzter Schutzbrille NICHT den Abstand zur Infrarotlampe verringern.
• Verwenden Sie die Schutzbrille nur in ruhigen Umgebungen, damit Sie während der Anwendung nicht abgelenkt
werden.
Bestimmungsgemäßer Gebrauch
Die Schutzbrille ist ausschließlich dafür bestimmt, Ihre Augen während der Anwendung einer Infrarotlampe
vor Infrarotstrahlung zu schützen. Die Schutzbrille schützt ausschließlich vor Infrarotstrahlung. Die Schutzbrille
schützt NICHT vor anderen Strahlungen. Verwenden Sie die Schutzbrille ausschließlich mit boso Infrarotlampen.
Verwenden Sie die Schutzbrille nicht mit Infrarotlampen anderer Hersteller.
Tragen Sie die Schutzbrille immer direkt über den Augen und nicht über einer anderen Brille. Die Schutzbrille ist
nur für den Einsatz im häuslichen/privaten Umfeld bestimmt, nicht im gewerblichen Bereich.
Sie ist schadstofffrei gemäß den gesetzlichen Vorgaben. Unter Umständen kann das Material der Schutzbrille zu
Beginn etwas riechen. Dieser Geruch verflüchtigt sich nach wenigen Anwendungen.
Anwendung
1. Positionieren Sie die Infrarotlampe.
2. Bereiten Sie den gewünschten Behandlungsabstand vor.
3. Schalten Sie die Infrarotlampe ein.
4. Nehmen Sie Ihre Sitzposition für die Anwendung ein.
5. Halten Sie die Schutzbrille an Ihre Augen und ziehen Sie das Gummiband über Ihren Kopf. Um das Gummi-
band zu verlängern / kürzen, ziehen Sie an der seitlichen Schlaufe.
6. Um die Anwendung zu beenden, nehmen Sie zuerst die Schutzbrille ab. Schalten Sie danach die Infrarotlampe
aus.
Tauschen Sie das Produkt nach einer Gebrauchsdauer von 3 Jahren aus.
Lagerung
Wenn Sie die Schutzbrille längere Zeit nicht verwenden, empfehlen wir Ihnen, sie in der Originalverpackung in
trockener Umgebung und ohne Beschwerung aufzubewahren.
Reinigung
Reinigen Sie die Schutzbrille von Zeit zu Zeit. Benutzen Sie zur Reinigung ein leicht angefeuchtetes und weiches
Tuch. Benutzen Sie keine scharfen oder scheuernden Reinigungsmittel.

6. Auswechseln des Infrarotstrahlers
Vor jeder Reinigung und beim Auswechseln des Infrarotstrahlers muß das Gerät ausgeschaltet, vom Netz ge-
trennt und abgekühlt sein.
Bitte beachten Sie, dass als Ersatz nur Infrarotstrahler des originalen Typs verwendet werden dürfen.

Warnung
• Den Infrarotstrahler nicht anfassen oder herausschrauben wenn die Netzleitung eingesteckt ist.

• Im Interesse des Umweltschutzes darf das Gerät nicht mit dem Hausmüll entsorgt werden.
7. Gerät reinigen und pflegen
Von Zeit zu Zeit sollte das Gerät gereinigt werden.
Achtung
Zur Vermeidung von Geruchsbildung durch Fusseln und Staub empfehlen wir eine regelmäßige Reinigung
des Gerätes wie folgt vorzunehmen:
• Vor jeder Reinigung und beim Auswechseln des Infrarotstrahlers muß das Gerät ausgeschaltet, der Netz-
stecker gezogen und abgekühlt sein.
• Achten Sie darauf, dass kein Wasser in das Geräteinnere gelangt!
• Gerät nicht in der Spülmaschine reinigen!
Benutzen Sie zur Reinigung ein feuchtes Tuch, auf das Sie bei Bedarf etwas Spülmittel auftragen können.
• Benutzen Sie keine scharfen Reinigungsmittel und halten Sie das Gerät niemals unter Wasser.
Das Gerät darf im angeschlossenen Zustand nicht mit feuchten Händen angefasst werden; es darf kein
Wasser auf das Gerät spritzen.
• Das Gerät darf nur im vollständig trockenen Zustand betrieben werden.
8. Entsorgen
Im Interesse des Umweltschutzes darf das Gerät am Ende seiner Lebensdauer nicht mit dem Hausmüll
entsorgt werden. Die Entsorgung kann über entsprechende Sammelstellen in Ihrem Land erfolgen.
Bitte entsorgen Sie das Gerät gemäß der Elektro- und Elektronik Altgeräte EG-Richtlinie – WEEE (Waste
Electrical and Electronic Equipment).
Bei Rückfragen wenden Sie sich bitte an die für die Entsorgung zuständige kommunale Behörde.

10. Garantie
Wir leisten 3 Jahre Garantie für Material- und Fabrikationsfehler des Produktes. Die Garantie gilt nicht:
• im Falle von Schäden, die auf unsachgemäßer Bedienung beruhen,
• für Verschleißteile,
• für Mängel, die dem Kunden bereits beim Kauf bekannt waren,
• bei Eigenverschulden des Kunden,
• bei Fremdeinwirkung.
Die gesetzlichen Gewährleistungen des Kunden bleiben durch die Garantie unberührt. Für Geltendmachung
eines Garantiefalles innerhalb der Garantiezeit ist durch den Kunden der Nachweis des Kaufes zu führen.
Die Garantie ist innerhalb eines Zeitraumes von 3 Jahren ab Kaufdatum gegenüber der boso GmbH+Co. KG,
Bahnhofstr. 64, D-72417 Jungingen (Germany) geltend zu machen. Der Kunde hat im Garantiefall das Recht
zur Reparatur der Ware bei unseren eigenen oder bei von uns autorisierten Werkstätten. Weitergehende Rechte
werden dem Kunden (aufgrund der Garantie) nicht eingeräumt.

heating. If you have any doubts, consult your doctor.
• In case of acutely inflammatory processes, radiation should only be carried out after consulting a doctor.
• Always limit the period of use and check the reaction of the skin.
• Medications, cosmetics or food can lead to a over-sensitive or allergic reaction of the skin under certain
conditions. Radiation must be ended immediately in this case.
• An appropriate distance between the infrared lamp and the desired treatment area must be maintained
during treatment so that no skin irritation, such as tingling, itching, burning or too high heat sensitivity
occurs. Stop the treatment if this occurs. Alternatively, increase the radiation distance and/or reduce the
radiation duration.
• This device is not intended for radiation from above.
• The minimum distances described in these instructions for use must be adhered to.
• If the appliance is operated continuously, caution and attention are advisable - never fall asleep during
radiation!
• Prolonged use can cause burns to the skin.
• Do not touch the infrared lamp or unscrew it when it is connected to the mains.
• Children do not understand the risks associated with electrical appliances. Make sure the appliance inot
used by children without appropriate supervision.
• The appliance may be used only under supervision.
• Keep children away from packaging materials (risk of suffocation).
• Do not cover up or pack away the unit while it is warm.
• Always remove the mains plug and let the unit cool off before you touch it.
• Do not touch the unit with wet hands while it is plugged in; do not allow any water to be sprayed onto the
unit. The unit must be operated only when it is completely dry.
• Protect the unit from strong impacts.
• Do not pull the mains plug from the socket by the cord.
• In the event of a defect or malfunction, switch the device off immediately and disconnect it from the power
supply.
If the power cord of the device is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or an authorised
customer service technician in order to avoid hazard.

Repairs
Important
• Do not open the device. Please do not attempt to repair the unit yourself. This could result in serious
injuries. Failure to observe this regulation shall void the warranty.
• If you need to have the unit repaired, contact customer service or an authorised dealer.
3. Initial use
Setup
Remove the unit from the packaging. Remove all packaging material before using the appliance. Before use,
check whether the infrared lamp is properly screwed in. Place the device on flat surfaces. The appliance has an
adjustable lampshade. Set the angle of the fluorescent screen in accordance with your individual requirements.
Mains connection
Connect the unit only to the mains voltage listed on the type plate.
Note:
• Ensure that there is a socket near the place where the lamp will stand.
• Lay the mains cable in such a way that no one can trip over it.
Replacing the fuse (UK plug only)
If the fuse needs replacing, please observe the following:
• Remove the mains plug
• Lift out the fuse holder from the inside of the mains plug using a flat screwdriver
• Pull out the fuse from the fuse holder and replace it with a new fuse type: 3A (breaking capacity 6 kA at 240 V)
in accordance with BS-1362 / SS167.
• Press the fuse holder containing the new fuse into the plug slot
• Plug the mains plug into the socket and test to see if it works.
4. Operation
1Switching on the lamp
Push the plug completely into the mains socket.
2Enjoying the light
The recommended duration of treatment is maximum 12 minutes. We recommend selecting a shorter
radiation period to start with. However, the skin of some people may show an over-sensitive (e.g. with
extreme redness, blistering, itching, heavy sweating) or allergic reaction to heat radiation, even when
the lamp is used correctly.
3Important instructions
The distance between the infrared lamp and the radiated part of the body should not be less than the
following: at least 32 in (80 cm).
Always use the protective eyewear supplied during usage. The protective eyewear corresponds to the
requirements of EN 171:2002 and serves to protect the eyes.
CAUTION: Never look directly into the infrared light without protective eyewear.
Basically,
examine the radiated section of the body regularly. Discontinue radiation immediately if any signs of
an over-sensitive or allergic reaction appear and consult a physician.
4Switching off the lamp
Pull the mains plug from the socket.
CAUTION!
The lamp is hot after being used. Let the lamp cool off first long enough before you put it
away and/or pack it up!
Please note that the mains cable must not be wound round the infrared lamp either for storage or
when in use.

5. Protective eyewear
The product complies with the PPE regulation (EU) 2016/425 (reference: OJL 81, 31/03/2016, p. 51-98), the har-
monised standard EN 166:2001 (reference: OJC 209, 15/06/2018, p. 18) and the standard EN171:2002.
Warnings and safety notes
Read these instructions for use carefully! Non-observance of the following information may result in personal
injury or material damage. Store these instructions for use and make them accessible to other users. Make sure
you include these instructions for use when handing over the product to third parties.
WARNING
• Keep packaging material away from children. There is the risk of suffocation.
• Children must not play with the protective eyewear.
• Before using the protective eyewear, check it for signs of external damage (e.g. cracks or holes). If the protec-
tive eyewear is damaged, you must NOT continue using it.
• When wearing the protective eyewear, people with sensitive skin may have an allergic reaction to the materials
of the eyewear that may come into contact with the skin.
• Make sure that the protective eyewear does not come into contact with grease, oils or alcohol (e.g. cleaning
products or facial toners).
• Please note that the protective eyewear is opaque, which means it will restrict your spacial awareness.
• Do NOT operate the infrared lamp whilst wearing the protective eyewear.
• Do NOT move about whilst wearing the protective eyewear.
• Make sure that you do NOT reduce the distance between you and the infrared lamp whilst wearing the protec-
tive eyewear.
• Use the protective eyewear only in quiet environments, so that you are not disturbed during use.
Intended use
The protective eyewear is exclusively intended for protecting your eyes against infrared radiation while using an
infrared lamp. The protective eyewear provides protection against infrared radiation only. The protective eyewear
does NOT provide protection against other types of radiation. Use the protective eyewear only with boso infrared
lamps. Never use the protective eyewear with infrared lamps from other manufacturers.
Always use the protective eyewear directly over your eyes, not over another pair of glasses. The protective eye-
wear is intended for domestic/private use only, not for commercial use. It is free from pollutants as per the legal
requirements. The material of the protective eyewear may initially smell. This smell will dissipate after a few uses.
Usage
1. Position the infrared lamp.
2. Prepare the desired treatment distance.
3. Switch on the infrared lamp.
4. Sit down in preparation for the application.
5. Hold the protective eyewear to your eyes and pull the rubber band over your head. To make the rubber band
longer/shorter, pull on the strap at the side.
6. To end the application, first take off the protective eyewear. Then switch off the infrared lamp.
Replace the product after a period of use of 3 years.
Storage
If you do not plan to use the protective eyewear for an extended period of time, we recommend storing it in its
original packaging in a dry environment, ensuring that it is not weighed down by other items.
Cleaning
Clean the protective eyewear from time to time. Use a slightly damp, soft cloth to clean it. Do not use any sharp
or abrasive cleaning products.

6. Changing the infrared lamp
The device must be switched off and allowed to cool and the mains plug pulled out before cleaning and chang-
ing the infrared heat lamp.
Please note that only infrared lamps of the original type may be used as replacements.

7. Cleaning and care of the unit
The unit should be cleaned occasionally.

• Ensure that no water penetrates inside the unit!

8. Disposal
In the interest of protecting the environment, the unit must not be thrown out with the household waste at

• Limitez toujours la durée d‘exposition et vérifiez les réactions de la peau
• Attention: une utilisation prolongée de l‘appareil peut provoquer des brûlures.
• Dans certains cas, des médicaments, des produits de beauté ou l‘alimentation peuvent conduire à une
réaction hypersensible ou allergique de la peau. Dans chacun de ces cas, il faut interrompre immédiate-
ment l‘exposition aux rayons.
• Cet appareil n’est pas destiné à l’irradiation par le haut.
• Utilisez le radiateur thermique infrarouge à une distance de la zone de rayonnement souhaitée telle
qu‘aucune irritation de la peau, comme des fourmillements, des démangeaisons, des brûlures ou une
sensation de chaleur excessive ne puisse être ressentie pendant le traitement. Dans ce cas, interrompez
le traitement. Vous pouvez également augmenter la distance de rayonnement et/ou réduire la durée de
rayonnement.
• N’utilisez pas l’appareil à des distances inférieures aux distances indiquées dans ce mode d’emploi.
• En cas de fonctionnement continu de l‘appareil, il faut veiller à être particulièrement prudent et attentif – ne
jamais s‘endormir pendant l‘exposition aux rayons !
• Ne pas toucher l‘appareil et ne pas dévisser l‘émetteur lorsque l‘appareil est encore sous tension.
• Les enfants ne sont pas conscients des dangers liés aux appareils électriques. Veiller à ce que l‘appareil
ne puisse pas être utilisé par des enfants sans surveillance
• L‘appareil ne doit être utilisé que sous surveillance.
• Tenez éloignés les enfants du matériau d‘emballage (danger d‘étouffement !).

Attention
• Vous ne devez pas ouvrir l’appareil. Veuillez ne pas essayer de réparer vous-même l‘appareil. Vous risque-
riez des blessures graves. En cas de non-respect, la garantie est annulée.
• Adressez-vous pour les réparations au service après-vente ou à un revendeur agréé.
3. Mise en service
Installation
Retirez l‘appareil de l‘emballage. Avant toute utilisation de l‘appareil, sortir l‘appareil de son emballage et vérifier
que l‘émetteur de rayons infrarouges est bien vissé à fond. Poser la lampe sur une surface plane. L’appareil est
muni d’un abat-jour réglable. Réglez l‘inclinaison de l‘écran d‘éclairage selon vos besoins individuels.
Raccordement au secteur
L‘appareil doit uniquement être raccordé à la tension secteur indiquée sur la plaque signalétique.
Remarque:
• Veillez à ce qu‘une prise de courant se trouve à proximité du lieu d‘installation.
• Posez le câble d‘alimentation de telle sorte que personne ne puisse trébucher.
4. Utilisation
1Allumer la lampe
 Pour le raccordement au secteur, enfoncez la fiche complètement dans la prise de courant.
2Apprécier la lumière
La durée recommandée du traitement est de 12 minutes maximum. Au début, nous vous recomman-
dons de sélectionner une durée d‘exposition plus courte. Malgré un usage correcte, il se peut cepen-
dant que la peau de certaines personnes soit hypersensible à la chaleur des rayons (par exemple forte
rougeur, formation de vésicules cutanées, démangeaisons, forte transpiration) ou présente une allergie.
3À quoi devriez-vous faire attention ?
La distance entre l‘émetteur de rayons infrarouges et la partie du corps exposée ne devrait pas être infé-
rieure aux données suivantes: au moins 80 cm.
Pendant lutilisation, utilisez toujours les lunettes de sécurité fournies. Les lunettes de protection sont
conformes aux exigences de la norme EN 171:2002 et servent à protéger les yeux.
ATTENTION: Ne regardez jamais directement la lumière infrarouge sans lunettes de protection.
Règle générale:
Vérifiez régulièrement la partie du corps exposée aux rayons. Cessez immédiatement l‘exposition aux ra-
yons dès qu‘un signe d‘hypersensibilité ou de réaction allergique se manifeste et consultez un médecin.
4Éteindre la lampe
Les tubes s‘éteignent. Débranchez la fiche secteur de la prise de courant.
ATTENTION!
La lampe est chaude après utilisation. Laissez d‘abord refroidir la lampe pendant un temps suffisant avant
de la ranger et /ou de l‘emballer!
Veuillez noter que le cordon d’alimentation ne doit pas être enroulé autour de la lampe infrarouge, ni pour
le stockage, ni pendant l’utilisation !
5. Lunettes de protection
Le produit est conforme à l’ordonnance PSA (UE) 2016/425 (source: OJL 81, 31.03.2016, p. 51-98). Ainsi que la
norme harmonisée EN 166:2001 (source: OJC 209, 15.06.2018, p. 18) et la norme EN171:2002.
Consignes d’avertissement et de mise en garde
Lisez attentivement ce mode d’emploi! Le non-respect des instructions suivantes est susceptible d’entraîner des
dommages corporels ou matériels. Conservez ce mode d’emploi et tenez-le à la disposition de tous les autres
utilisateurs. Si vous transmettez le produit à quelqu’un, remettez-lui également ce mode d’emploi.

AVERTISSEMENT
• Maintenez les emballages hors de la portée des enfants. Ils pourraient s’étouffer.
• Les enfants ne doivent pas jouer avec les lunettes de protection.
• Avant de les utiliser, vérifiez que les lunettes de protection ne sont pas endommagées (par ex. fissures ou
trous). Si les lunettes de protection sont endommagées, vous ne devez PAS continuer à les utiliser.
• Les matières des lunettes de protection pouvant entrer en contact avec la peau du porteur peuvent provoquer
des réactions allergiques chez les personnes ayant la peau sensible.
• Assurez-vous que les lunettes de protection n’entrent pas en contact avec des graisses, des huiles ou de
l’alcool (par ex. produit de nettoyage ou eau micellaire).
• Notez que les lunettes de protection sont opaques et réduisent donc votre perception spatiale.
• Ne manipulez PAS la lampe à infrarouge lorsque vous portez les lunettes de protection.
• NE vous déplacez PAS lorsque vous portez les lunettes de protection.
• Veillez à NE PAS réduire la distance avec la lampe à infrarouge lorsque vous portez les lunettes de protection.
• N’utilisez les lunettes de protection que dans des environnements calmes afin de ne pas être distrait pendant
l’utilisation.
Utilisation conforme aux recommandations
Les lunettes de protection sont conçues exclusivement pour protéger vos yeux contre les rayons infrarouge pen-
dant l’utilisation d’une lampe à infrarouge. Les lunettes de protection protègent exclusivement contre les rayons
infrarouge. Les lunettes de protection ne protègent PAS des autres rayons. Utilisez les lunettes de protection
exclusivement avec des lampes à infrarouge boso. N’utilisez pas les lunettes de protection avec des lampes à
infrarouge d’autres fabricants.
Portez toujours les lunettes de protection directement sur les yeux et non sur d’autres lunettes. Les lunettes de
protection ne doivent être utilisées que dans un environnement domestique/privé et en aucun cas dans un cadre
professionnel. Elles ne contiennent pas de produit toxique conformément aux dispositions légales. Dans cer-
taines circonstances, le matériau des lunettes de sécurité peut avoir une légère odeur au début. Cette odeur se
dissipe après quelques utilisations.
Utilisation
1. Positionnez la lampe à infrarouge.
2. Placez l’appareil à la distance de traitement souhaitée.
3. Allumez la lampe à infrarouge.
4. Placez-vous en position assise pour l’utiliser.
5. Placez les lunettes de protection sur vos yeux et tirez la bande élastique par-dessus votre tête. Pour rallonger/
raccourcir la bande élastique, tirez sur la boucle latérale.
6. Pour arrêter l’utilisation, enlevez d’abord les lunettes de protection. Éteignez ensuite la lampe à infrarouge.
Remplacez le produit après une durée d’utilisation de 3ans.
Stockage
Si vous n’utilisez pas les lunettes de protection pendant une période prolongée, nous vous recommandons de
les ranger dans leur emballage d’origine sans rien poser dessus.
Nettoyage
Nettoyez régulièrement les lunettes de protection. Pour le nettoyage, utilisez un chiffon doux légèrement humidi-
fié. N’utilisez pas de produits nettoyants abrasifs.

6. Remplacement de la lampe infrarouge
Avant tout nettoyage et en cas de changement de la lampe à infrarouge, l‘appareil doit être arrêté, la fiche débran-
chée et refroidie.
Attention: Ne remplacer les émetteurs que par des émetteurs de même type que les émetteurs d‘origine.

Avertissement
• Ne pas toucher l‘appareil et ne pas dévisser l‘émetteur lorsque l‘appareil est encore sous tension.
• Débranchez l’appareil pour éviter tout danger d’électrocution.
• Afin de respecter l’environnement, l’appareil ne doit pas être éliminé avec les ordures
ménagères.
7. Nettoyage et entretien de l‘appareil
Nettoyez de temps en temps l‘appareil.
Attention
Afin d‘éviter la formation d‘odeurs dues aux peluches et à la poussière, nous recommandons un nettoyage
régulier de l‘appareil, de la manière suivante:
• Avant tout nettoyage et en cas de changement de la lampe à infrarouge, l‘appareil doit être arrêté, la fiche
débranchée et refroidie.
• Veillez à ce qu‘il ne s‘infiltre pas d‘eau dans l‘intérieur du boîtier!
• Ne nettoyez pas l‘appareil dans le lavevaisselle.
Utilisez pour le nettoyage un chiffon humide, sur lequel vous pouvez appliquer au besoin un peu de pro-
duit vaisselle!
• À l‘état branché, l‘appareil ne doit pas être saisi avec des mains humides; il ne doit pas y avoir de projection
d‘eau sur l‘appareil. L‘appareil doit uniquement être utilisé à l‘état entièrement sec.
• N‘utilisez pas de produits de nettoyage agressifs et n‘immergez jamais l‘appareil dans l‘eau.
8. Élimination
Dans l‘intérêt de la protection de l‘environnement, l‘appareil ne doit pas être jeté avec les ordures ména-
gères à la fin de sa durée de service. L‘élimination doit se faire par le biais des points de collecte compé-
tents dans votre pays.
Veuillez éliminer l’appareil conformément à la directive européenne – WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electro-
nic Equipment) relative aux appareils électriques et électroniques usagés.
Pour toute question, adressez-vous aux collectivités locales responsables de l’élimination et du recyclage de ces
produits.

10. Garantie
Nous proposons une garantie de 3ans en cas de défaut matériel ou de fabrication du produit. La garantie ne

• aux vices déjà connus par le client au moment de l’achat;
• aux dommages causés par le client;
• aux problèmes survenant pour une raison inconnue.
La garantie légale du client n’est pas remise en cause par la garantie commerciale. Afin de pouvoir faire valoir la
garantie durant la période couverte, le client doit présenter une preuve d’achat.
Le client peut faire valoir la garantie sur une période de 3ans à compter de la date d’achat auprès de boso
GmbH+Co. KG, Bahnhofstr. 64, D-72417 Jungingen (Allemagne). Si le client est admis à faire valoir la garantie,
il pourra faire réparer le produit par notre propre personnel ou par des personnes autorisées. Le client ne peut

Advertencia
• El presente reflector infrarrojo ha sido previsto para usarse exclusivamente en la irradiación del cuerpo
humano.
• Utilice siempre durante la aplicación las gafas protectoras que se adjuntan.
• Antes de su uso es preciso asegurarse de que el aparato y sus accesorios no presentan daños visibles y
que se ha eliminado toda clase de material de embalaje. En caso de duda se recomienda no utilizarla y
consultar a su distribuidor o contactar con el servicio de asistencia técnica en la dirección indicada.
• El aparato siempre deberá estar colocado en un sitio seguro y plano.
• La carcasa de la lámpara y el radiador infrarrojo se calientan bastante durante el uso. ¡Existe peligro de
quemaduras, si se tocan! Dejar siempre que se enfríe la lámpara, antes de tocarla.
