1. Safety instructions
•This device is suitable for indoor use (not outdoors) only.
•All modifications to the device will void the warranty.
•Repairs are to carry out by skilled personnel only.
•Use only fuses of the same type and original parts as spare parts.
•Protect the unit from rain and humidity to avoid fire and electric shocks.
•Make sure to unplug the power supply before opening the housing
1.1.For safe and efficient operation
Be careful with heat and extreme temperature!
Avoid exposing it to direct rays of the sun or near a heating appliance.
Not put it in a temperature bellow 32°F /0°C, or exceeding 104°F /40°C.
Keep away from humidity, water and dust!
Do not place the set in a location with high humidity or lots of dust.
Containers with water should not be placed on the set.
To avoid placing on un-stable location!
Select a level and stable location to avoid vibration.
Do not use chemicals or volatile liquids for cleaning!
Use a clean dry cloth to wipe off the dust, or a wet soft cloth for stubborn dirt.
If out of work, contact sales agency immediately!
Any troubles arose, remove the power plug soon, and contact with an engineer for repairing, do not
open the cabinet by yourself, it might result a danger of electric shock.
Take care with the power cable
Never pull the power cable to remove the plug from the receptacle, be sure to hold the plug. When not
using the device for an extended period of time, be sure to disconnect the plug from the receptacle.

Damages caused by the disregard of this user manual are not subject to warranty. The dealer will not
accept liability for any resulting defects or problems. Make sure the electrical connection is carried out
by qualified personnel. All electrical and mechanical connections have to be carried out according to
the European safety standards.

2. Introduction
Congratulations on the purchase of our Controller LED ADT MP3-20.
The LED ADT MP3-20, is a 20W amplifier which is controllable by DMX, it allows setting the DMX start
address and the forwarding of stereo signals directly to external loudspeakers.

6. Control panel view
1. MODE button
Select and confirm a mode.
2. VOLUME knob
With it you can adjust the volume.
3. AUX IN
Here you can connect an external audio source.
4. SD CARD slot
You can use a SD card for transmitting music folders.
5. PLAY button
This button is used to power on the device, start and stop an MP3.
6. VOLUME button
This button is used to enter into the volume adjustment interface.
7. NEXT button
This button is used to enter into the next item, forward, increase volume.
8. PRE button
This button is used to go back to the last item, backward, decrease volume.
9. LCD
The display shows the current working state.
10. INFRARED SENSOR port
Here you can connect the external infrared sensor.

11. STANDYBY button
This button is to power on/off the device.
12. INDICATOR
The indicators are representing for the corresponding working state.
13. DMX IN
Here you can connect the ADT-48 and receive the DMX signal with 3-pin terminal.
14. DC IN
Here you can connect the power source with 4-pin terminal.
15. AUDIO OUT
Here you can connect the speaker with 4-pin terminal.
16. USB port
Here you can connect a PC.
17. LINE OUT
Here you can connect an external audio system.
7. Notations in the manual
Touch is a keystroke where the effect appears directly.
Press is a keystroke where the effect first appears if you have released the button.
Hold down is a keystroke where you have to press the button for at least 2 seconds until the effect
appears.
8. Instruction
Before using the device make sure that the LED ADT MP3-20 is connected to a suitable power
source.
The indicator of the POWER button flashes and the device is operational if you have connected it to
an available power source.
If you have not connected a DMX signal the LED ADT MP3-20 can work independently, to play audio
files of the built-in MP3 player or amplify audio signals which are from AUX IN. Or you can use the
MP3 output as audio source for connection with an external audio system.
With DMX signals you can control the LED ADT MP3-20 with an external DMX controller, for example
the ADT-48 (for more information read out the corresponding manual). Its start address is 49.
If you control the LED ADT MP3-20 with an external DMX controller you can read out the DMC
functions of the following chart.

8.1.Main menu
Press MUTE + MODE at the same time to change the mode. You can reach the preset mode from the
MP3 mode.
Touch the NEXT or PREV button to move the cursor and choose a point of the submenu. Press the
MODE button to confirm.

8.1.1. DMX address
Choose the point of menu DMX Address. The LCD shows:
You can set the DMX address from 1-512; the start address is 49 (to connect with the ADT-48, the
DMX address has to be set on 49).
8.1.2. Input select
Choose the point of menu Input Select. The LCD shows:
If you have connected external audio sources to the device you can now select between AUX IN and
MP3.
8.1.3. Load default values
The point of menu Load Default resets all settings to the standard settings. The values of the standard
settings are:
DMX ADDRESS: 49
INPUT SELECT: MP3

8.1.4. MP3 Player
MP3 menu
The menu for the MP3 player is consisting out of main menu and the submenu. The submenu has the
points of menu Playback (the device is playing music) and Standby (the device stops playing music).
Hold down the MODE button to get to the main menu. Use NEXT or PREV, to make your selection,
after this touch the MODE button to get to the submenu.
•Local Folder: Shows you the local music folder.
•Card folder: Shows you the music folders of the SD card.
•Delete: Erases one file.
•Delete All: Erases all files.
•Exit: Return to the main menu.
BROWSE
•Search and choose a song.
You have to touch the PREV button to get back to previous song und choose this one.
You have to touch the NEXT button to step to next song and choose this one.

•Forwards/Backwards while the device is playing music.
Hold down the PREV button to step backwards.
Hold down the NEXT button to steps forwards.
Function mode
From the main menu you can reach every function mode.
•Volume control
You have to touch VOLUME to activate the volume function. Use NEXT to increase the
volume and PREV to decrease the volume.
•Device on/off
While the device is running hold down the PLAY button to power off the device. The device
enters the standby-by mode. If the device is in standby mode hold down the PLAY button to
power it on.
If the device is playing music touch the PLAY button. The device pauses the playing.
If the device pauses touch the PLAY button to continue the playing.
If the device is recording touch the PLAY button. The device pauses the recording.
If the device is in the submenu touch the PLAY button to leave it.
Playing submenu
If the device is playing music touch MODE, to get to the submenu for playing.
You have to use NEXT or PREV to make your selection. Touch the MODE button to get to the
submenu.

If you choose Reboot the LCD shows:
The device allows you to repeat folders or all music files.
•Equalizer: For selection of the equalizer Natural, rock, Pop, etc.
•SRS WOW mode: For selection of SRS WOW, user settings or to break the SRS WOW.
•Replay time: Here you can select the playing time.
•Replay gap: Here you can select the gap between the playing.
•EXIT: Get back to the main menu.

9. IR remote
You can control the ADT-MP3-20 with an external IR EYE sensor. Before using you should connect
the IR EYE sensor in the right way.
Connecting the IR EYE sensor to the ADT-MP3-20
1. Unplug the device from the power supply system.
2. Plug in the external IR EYE sensor to the IR plug in the right way.
3. Connect the device to the power supply system again and power it on.
NOTE:
- After you have set the operation modes and the corresponding parameters, you can
disconnect the external IR EYE sensor.
- To avoid damages NEVER disconnect the IR sensor while the device is powered on.
- The ADT MP3-20 shares the IR remote with the ADT-48, only a few of the buttons are for ADT
MP3-20.
9.1.Notes for control
1. Make sure that you use the right batteries (3V, Cr2025) for the remote.

2. Information on detail for functions you can read out in the chart below.
NOTE:
1. The effective distance between the ALED ADT MP3-20 and the remote should not be more
than 6m. On a distance over 6m the remote does not work.
2. FREQ + x + x + x: At first press REQ and the following number buttons sequential. This
function is only available for range 870-1080. For example: Press FREQ + 8 + 9 + 8 and you
get into the FM menu with the frequency 89.8 MHz
3. FOLDER + x or xx: At first press FOLDER and then the number button to choose a folder from
the local or storage or from SD card. For example:
a) Press FOLDER + 1 and you will choose the folder MUSIC1 from the local storage. Press
FOLDER + 2 and you will choose the folder MUSIC2 and so on.

b) Press FOLDER + 11 (11 mean you have to press 1 twice) and you will choose the folder
MUSIC1 from the SD card. Press FOLDER + 2 and you will choose the folder MUSIC2
from the SD card and so on.
Audio Repeat
If the LED ADT MP3-20 is playing the folder MUSIC 1-7, the playing 1-7 will be repeated. If the device
is playing the folder MUSIC8, the current song will be repeated like the following chart shows:
SPECIAL NOTE:
The folder have to be named with MUSIC 1, MUSIC2, MUSIC3, MUSIC4, MUSIC5; MUSIC6,
MUSIC7, MUSIC8 in the local storage also as on the SD card, before you can store in this music
files. Otherwise the music files will not be recognized by the MP3 player.
4. SONG + x +x: At first press SONG and then the following number buttons to choose music
from the current folder. If you want to choose title 8 of the current folder, press SONG + 0 + 8
and the title will be played. Otherwise your selection will be invalid.
5. Press SCAN. The device will automatically start to search the radio station. The device will
store the found stations. In FM mode the first station will be displayed.
