Bowers&Wilkins
Before you start, find out the name of your existing home
wireless network (from now on refered to as "your home network")
and any passwords required to access it.
Icons can appear differently to those displayed
in this guide
depending
on your operating system.
ZeppelinAir
AirPlay" set-up
•Ensure your iPod or iPhone
is not docked when
starting this process. Unplug every cable from
your Zeppelin
Air, including the power cable.
Connect one end of the supplied Ethernet cable to
the Zeppelin
Air, and the other end to your Mac/PC.
Connect the power cable. Zeppelin Air will switch
on
in standby mode with its indicator showing
dim red.

Press power button once. The indicator will flash
purple. Wait until the indicator turns solid purple
(could be up to 90 seconds).
Open your browser and type 169.254.1.1
in the address bar. Press return and the
Zeppelin Air setup page will open.
<D Choose your home network from the list.
oType your password very carefully.

Disconnect the Ethernet cable from your
Mac/PC and from the Zeppelin
Air.

The indicator will flash purple. Wait approximately
60 seconds for your Zeppelin Air to connect
wirelessly.
If successful, the Zeppelin Air's indicator
will change from flashing purple to solid purple.
If this does not happen, please refer to the reset
instructions at the end of this guide.

Select the options to: "Look for remote speakers
connected with AirPlay" and "Allow iTunes control from
remote speakers". Close iTunes preferences. Look for remote
speakers connected with AirPlay
AI/ow iTunes control from remote speakers
Look for iPod touch, iPhone and iPad Remotes (Forget All Remotes)
tID Choose "Zeppelin Air" from the iTunes devices menu,
at the bottom right corner
of iTunes.
Press play. The sound will now be heard from
your Zeppelin
Air.

If anything goes wrong at any stage during this
process, you can start again by resetting the Zeppelin
Air. To do this, use apaper clip, or similar small point,
to press the reset button located on the back
of the
device between the USB and Ethernet ports. Hold
the button down until the indicator changes to adim
red colour.

of charge labour (exclusions may apply) and replacement parts in any
country served by an official Bowers &Wilkins distribut()(.
This warranty:
1 is valid only f()( products purclhased from an authorised Bowers &
Wilkins retailer or dealer.
2is valid from the date of purchase for aperiod of fIVe years f()(
passive loudspeakers and
two years for powered loudspeakers,
electronics
and headphones, except that exclusions apply
in certain countries in line with national law. Please consutt
the Bowers & Wilkins distributor in your country for detailed
information.
3is limited to the repair of the equipment. Nerther transportation,
nor any other costs, n()( any risk f()( removal, transportation and
installation of products is covered by this warranty.
4is only valid f()( the original owner. It is not transferable.

17 When batteries are supplied with the product or ns accessones:
aCAUTION: Danger of explosion ~ battery incorrectly replaced.
Replace aspent battery only with the same ()( equivalent
