Installation:
The Toastit™ is very easy to install. Insert the USB plug of the supplied USB
cable into the designated port of your computer and into the Toastit™. Upon
rst connection the computer operating system will recognise the Toastit™
automatically and start conguring the Toastit™ for usage. When initialization
is completed the computer will give a notication that the device is ready for
use. Maybe a restart of the computer is needed for proper functioning. When
the Toastit™ is connected to the computer 3 extra drives are visible in ‘Windows
Explorer’ for accessing the memory cards directly. The Toastit™ is now ready for
use.
If any of the card reader ports fails to connect, please remove all devices from the
Toastit™ and reconnect the ToastIt™ to the computer. It might be caused by too
much electric current. Please reboot the computer before connecting any devices
to the Toastit™. After restarting the computer the Toastit™ should be functioning
normally again. Since the Toastit™ is powered by the computer USB port, it will
only be operational when the computer is on.
Memory cards can be inserted in the corresponding designated ports on the
Toastit™. Card type indications are printed underneath or above the card slots.
For use with xD, MS, MMC and SD, please hold the card with the copper contacts
towards you while inserting the card in the designated slot. Please make sure the
card references can be read normally (not upside down). The Toastit™ can hold a
different memory card in each slot at the same time.
Note:
• The Toastit™ is a self powered card reader and does not need any external power adapter to work.
• Please connect the Toastit™ to a USB 2.0 port to ensure the highest possible data transfer. If the
Toastit™ is connected to a USB 1.1 port, the computer might give the notication; “This USB device
can work quicker, please connect to a USB 2.0 port”

Installation:
Le Toastit™ est très facile à installer. Insérez la prise USB du câble USB fourni dans
le port prévu de votre ordinateur et dans le Toastit™. Dès la première connexion,
le système d’exploitation de l’ordinateur reconnaîtra automatiquement Toastit™ et
commencera la conguration pour l’utilisation de Toastit™ . Lorsque l’initialisation
est terminée, l’ordinateur prévient que le périphérique est prêt à être utilisé. Peut-
être qu’un redémarrage de l’ordinateur est nécessaire pour un bon fonctionnement.
Lorsque le Toastit™ est connecté à l’ordinateur, 3 lecteurs supplémentaires sont
visibles dans «Explorateur Windows» pour un accès direct aux cartes mémoire.
Toastit™ est désormais prêt à être utilisé.
Si l’un des ports de lecteur carte mémoire n’arrive pas à se connecter, veuillez
ôter tous les périphériques de Toastit™ et reconnecter Toastit™ à l’ordinateur.
Ceci peut être du à une surcharge en alimentation électrique. Veuillez redémarrer
l’ordinateur avant de connecter les périphériques à Toastit™. Après le redémarrage
de l’ordinateur, Toastit™ doit refonctionner normalement. Puisque Toastit™ est
alimenté par le port USB de l’ordinateur, il ne pourra fonctionner que lorsque
l’ordinateur est allumé.
Les cartes mémoire peuvent être insérées dans les ports correspondants sur

Instalación:
El Toastit™ es muy fácil de instalar. Conecte la clavija USB del cable USB facilitado
al Puerto correspondiente de su ordenador y al ToastitTM. Tras la primera conexión
el sistema operativo del ordenador reconocerá el ToastitTM automáticamente y
se inicia congurando el ToastitTM para su uso. Cuando se completa el proceso
de inicio el ordenador noticará que el dispositivo está listo para ser usado.
Puede ser necesario el reinicio del ordenador para un correcto funcionamiento.
Cuando ToastitTM está conectado al ordenador se muestran 3 dispositivos extra en
“Windows Explorer” para acceder directamente a las tarjetas de memoria. Toastit™
está ya listo para su uso.
Si alguno de los puertos del lector de tarjeta falla al conectar, retire todos los
dispositivos del ToastitTM y reconecte el ToastitTM al ordenador. Puede ser provocado
por un exceso de corriente eléctrica. Reinicie el ordenador antes de conectar
cualquiera de los dispositivos al ToastitTM. Tras reiniciar el ordenador el ToastitTM
debería funcionar de nuevo con normalidad. Debido a que ToastitTM se alimenta
a través del puerto USB del ordenador, sólo funcionará cuando el ordenador esté
encendido.

Installazione:
Toastit™ può essere installato molto facilmente. Inserire la spina USB del cavo
USB in dotazione nella porta del computer e nel Toastit™. Al primo collegamento il
sistema operativo del computer riconoscerà automaticamente Toastit™ ed avvierà
la congurazione per il suo utilizzo. Al termine della procedura di inizializzazione il
computer visualizzerà un messaggio ad indicare che il dispositivo è pronto all’uso.
Per un corretto funzionamento potrebbe essere necessario riavviare il computer.
Quando Toastit™ è collegato al computer sono visibile altri 3 drive in ‘Risorse del
computer’ per consentire l’accesso diretto alle schede di memoria. Toastit™ è così
pronto all’uso.
Su una delle porte del lettore di schede non si collega correttamente, rimuovere
tutti i dispositivi da Toastit™ e ricollegarlo al computer. Il problema potrebbe essere
causato da un eccesso di corrente elettrica. Riavviare il computer prima di collegare
qualsiasi dispositivo al Toastit™. Dopo il riavvio del computer Toastit™ dovrebbe
riprendere a funzionare correttamente. Poiché Toastit™ è alimentato dalla porta
USB del computer, potrà funzionare solo a computer acceso.
Le schede di memoria possono essere inserite nelle porte corrispondenti di
Toastit™. L’indicazione del tipo di scheda è stampata sopra o sotto lo slot. Per
l’utilizzo con schede xD, MS, MMC e SD, tenere la scheda con i contatti in rame
verso l’operatore mentre si procede all’inserimento nello slot corretto. Assicurarsi

Installatie:
De ToastitTM is heel eenvoudig te installeren. Steek de USB-stekker van de
meegeleverde USB-kabel in de daarvoor bestemde poort op uw computer en
in de ToastitTM. Wanneer de ToastitTM voor de eerste keer wordt aangesloten op
de computer, wordt de card reader automatisch herkend en zal gecongureerd
worden voor gebruik. Als de automatische conguratie gereed is zal de computer
een melding geven dat het apparaat klaar is voor gebruik. Soms is het nodig
de computer opnieuw op te starten om een goede werking te verkrijgen. Als
de ToastitTM met de PC verbonden is zullen in de “Windows Verkenner” 3 extra
schijfstations te zien zijn om directe toegang te krijgen tot de diverse kaarten. De
Toastit is nu klaar voor gebruik.
Wanneer een van de memory kaarten niet werkt, haal dan alle kaarten uit de card
reader en steek de ToastitTM USB-stekker opnieuw in de computer. De oorzaak kan
een te hoge elektrische stroom zijn. De ToastitTM zou na herstarten weer normaal
moeten functioneren. De ToastitTM wordt gevoed uit de USB poort en zal ToastitTM
alleen werken als de PC aan staat.
Memory cards kunnen in de corresponderende sloten worden gestoken in de
ToastitTM. Bij elk slot zijn type indicaties afgebeeld aan de boven of onderkant.
Om de xD, MS, MMC en SD kaarten correct in de slots te steken; houd de kaart
met de koperen contacten naar beneden en naar U toe en steek deze voorzichtig
in het slot. Hierbij moet de tekst boven op de ToastitTM altijd leesbaar zijn en
niet ondersteboven. De ToastitTM kan gebruikt worden met één kaart in ieder slot
tegelijk (3 kaarten maximaal).

is een ‘self powered’ card reader, en heeft geen externe voedingsadapter nodig om te
functioneren
•Sluit de Toastit
TM
aan op een USB 2.0 poort op uw PC om de hoogst mogelijke communicatiesnelheid te
waarborgen. Als de Toastit
TM
op een USB 1.1 poort wordt aangesloten is het mogelijk dat de computer
de volgende melding geeft: “Dit apparaat kan sneller werken op een snelle USB 2.0-poort”

Speicherkartenlesers “ToastitTM” von boynq®. Sie besitzen damit den ersten
Kartenleser, in dem attraktives Äußeres mit hochwertigen Komponenten verbunden
wird, damit eine hochwertige Qualität geschaffen wird.

Installieren:
Der ToastitTM lässt sich auf sehr einfache Weise installieren. Stecken Sie den
USB-Stecker des mitgelieferten USB-Kabels in den dafür vorgesehenen Port
Ihres Computers und in den ToastitTM. Wenn Sie den ToastitTM zum ersten Mal an
Ihren Computer anschließen, wird der Kartenleser automatisch erkannt und für
den Einsatz konguriert. Sobald die automatische Kongurierung abgeschlossen
ist, wird der Computer eine Meldung anzeigen, dass das Gerät einsetzbereit
ist. In manchen Fällen kann es notwendig sein, den Computer neu zu starten,
damit alles korrekt funktioniert. Ist der ToastitTM an den PC angeschlossen, dann
werden in “Windows Explorer” 3 zusätzliche Diskstationen angezeigt, über die
der direkte Zugriff auf die einzelnen Karten ermöglicht wird. Der ToastitTM ist jetzt
einsatzbereit.
Sollte eine der Speicherkarten nicht funktionieren, so sollten Sie alle Karten aus
dem Kartenleser entfernen und den USB-Stecker erneut in den Computer stecken.
Die Ursache dieses Defekts kann in einem zu hohen elektrischen Strom liegen.
Der ToastitTM musste nach dem erneuten Start wieder normal funktionieren. Der
ToastitTM wird aus dem USB Port gespeist und wird nur dann funktionieren, wenn
der PC eingeschaltet ist.
Speicherkarten können in die entsprechenden Slots im ToastitTM gesteckt werden.
Zu jedem Slot sind die Typenanzeigen über oder unter dem Slot abgebildet. Damit
die xD-, MS-, MMC- und SD-Karten korrekt in die Slots gesteckt werden, sollten Sie
die Karten mit den aus Kupfer gefertigten Kontaktstellen nach unten und zu sich
hin gerichtet halten und sie vorsichtig in den Slot stecken. Dabei muss der Text auf
dem oberen Teil des ToastitTM immer gut lesbar sein und darf er nicht kopf stehen.
Der ToastitTM kann mit einer Karte in jedem Slot gleichzeitig (maximal 3 Karten)
benutzt werden.
Bitte beachten:
•Beim Toastit
TM
handelt es sich um einen sog. ‘self powered’ ‚Kartenleser, der keinen externen
Netzadapter braucht, um gut funktionieren zu können.
•Schließen Sie den Toastit
TM
an einen USB Port 2.0 Ihres PCs an, damit die höchstmögliche
Kommunikationsgeschwindigkeit ständig gewährleistet ist. Wenn Sie den Toastit
TM
an einen USB Port 1.1
anschließen, besteht die Möglichkeit, dass der Computer die Meldung anzeigt: “Dieses Gerät kann mit
einem schnellen USB Port 2.0 schneller arbeiten”.

Instalação:
O Toastit™ é muito fácil de instalar. Insira a cha USB do cabo USB fornecido na
porta adequada no seu computador e no Toastit™. Aquando da primeira ligação,
o sistema operativo vai reconhecer automaticamente o Toastit™ e começar a
congurar o Toastit™ para ser utilizado. Quando a inicialização estiver concluída,
o computador vai noticá-lo de que o aparelho está pronto para ser utilizado.
Talvez seja necessário reiniciar o computador para um funcionamento correcto.
Quando o Toastit™ estiver ligado ao computador, são apresentadas 3 unidades
suplementares no ‘Windows Explorer’ para aceder directamente aos cartões de
memória. O Toastit™ está agora pronto para ser utilizado.
Se alguma das portas do leitor de cartões não estabelecer ligação, retire todos
os aparelhos do Toastit™ e volte a ligar o ToastIt™ ao computador. Esta situação
pode ser provocada por um excesso de corrente. Reinicie o computador antes de
ligar quaisquer aparelhos ao Toastit™. Após reiniciar o computador, o Toastit™
já deverá estar a funcionar normalmente outra vez. Uma vez que o Toastit™ é
alimentado através da porta USB do computador, só se encontrará operacional
quando o computador estiver ligado.
Podem ser inseridos cartões de memória nas portas adequadas correspondentes
no Toastit™. Estão impressas indicações sobre o tipo de cartão por baixo ou por
cima das ranhuras. Para utilização com cartões xD, MS, MMC e SD, segure no
cartão com os contactos em cobre virados para si enquanto insere o cartão na
ranhura adequada. Assegure-se de que as referências do cartão podem ser lidas
normalmente (não de cabeça para baixo). O Toastit™ pode ter um cartão de
memória diferente em cada ranhura ao mesmo tempo.
Nota:
•O Toastit™ é um leitor de cartões com alimentação própria e não necessita de qualquer adaptador
externo para funcionar.

Installation:
Toastit™ är mycket enkel att installera. Sätt i den medföljande USB-kontakten
i den avsedda porten på din dator och i Toastit™. När datorn slås på första
gången kommer operativsystemet automatiskt att känna igen Toastit™ och starta
kongureringen av Toastit™ för användning. När uppstarten är färdig kommer
datorn att ge ett meddelande att apparaten är klar för användning. För att
fungera riktigt kan det eventuellt behövas en omstart av datorn. När Toastit™ är
ansluten till datorn visas 3 extra enheter i ‘Windows Explorer’ för direkt åtkomst av
minneskorten. Toastit™ är nu klar för användning.
Om någon av kortläsarportarna inte ansluts, var vänlig avlägsna alla apparater
från Toastit™ och återanslut ToastIt™ till datorn. Det kan orsakas av för hög
strömstyrka. Var vänlig starta om datorn innan någon apparat ansluts till Toastit™.
Efter att datorn startats om bör Toastit™ fungera normalt igen. Eftersom Toastit™
drivs med datorns USB-port, är den enbart operativ när datorn är igång.
Minneskort kan sättas i de avsedda portarna på Toastit™. Korttypsindikationer är
skrivna över eller under kortplatserna. För användning med xD, MS, MMC och SD,
var vänlig håll kortet med kopparkontakterna emot dig medan kortet sätts i den
avsedda kortplatsen. Var vänlig kontrollera att kortreferenserna kan läsas normalt
(inte upp-och-ner). Toastit™ kan ha olika minneskort på varje kortplats samtidigt.
OBS:
• Toastit™ är en sjävpresterande kortläsare och behöver ingen extern strömadapter för att fungera.
• Var vänlig anslut Toastit™ till en USB 2.0-port för att garantera högsta möjliga datatransfer. Om
Toastit™ är ansluten till en USB 1.1-port, kan datorn lämna meddelandet: “This USB device can work
quicker, please connect to a USB 2.0 port” (Denna USB-apparat kan arbeta snabbare, vänligen anslut
