• Ensure that your battery is disconnected prior to beginning installation.
• Use a non-marring trim removal tool to gently pry on the RH trim panel and remove it as
shown in the #1 photo below.
• Repeat this procedure to remove the LH trim panel (not shown).
• Remove the two screws which secure the upper vent to the dash and radio.
• Carefully pry up along the bottom of the vent to pop it free from the dash.
• Set the vent aside on top of the dash, there is no need to disconnect the cable.
• Remove the last two screws holding the radio to the cage.

• Pull the radio partially out of the cage.
• Pry upward as shown on the factory connector sliding lock to release it from the back side
of the unit.
• Remove the two other connectors from the back of the radio.
• Firmly pull the climate control panel forward to pop it free from the cage.
• Disconnect the four connectors from the back of the climate control panel.
• Set the climate control panel aside.

• Remove the last two screws (arrows) securing the factory radio cage.
• Pull the cage out from the dash.
• Using a small hack saw, shears or other suitable cutting tool, trim away the excess dash
material (highlighted in RED). This will help the radio to sit flush against the dash once
installed.
• Grasp the upper storage bin and pull it forward to pop it free from the mounting bracket.

In order to install the new radio, we need to relocate the climate control panel to the lower
mounting bracket, If your vehicle has a factory navigation system, or your climate control panel
is already located in the lower mounting bracket, please skip to step #1 on pag e 11.

• Remove the two vertical screws (arrows) which secure the lower mounting bracket.
• Firmly gasp the shift knob and pull straight up to pop it free from the shifter.
• Pry up on the shift boot assembly to pop it free.
• Lift the whole shift boot assembly off the shifter and disconnect the connector (arrow).

• Remove the two screws securing the center console trim (arrows).
• Disconnect the two connectors (arrows).
• Remove the two screws (arrows) which secure the mounting bracket to the center console.
• Remove the two connectors from the bottom of the outlet (arrows).

• Disconnect the two connectors (arrows) from the back of the accessory panel and pull the
whole mounting bracket out from the cage.
• Remove the two T10 screws securing the accessory panel to the mounting bracket.
• Remove the cigarette lighter and ash tray from the mounting bracket.
• Transfer the cigarette lighter and ash tray to the new mounting bracket.

• Install the accessory panel into the new mounting bracket with the two T10 screws.
• Install the four screws (arrows) securing the cage to the dash.
• Reconnect the connectors and install the center console trim with the two screws.
• Reconnect the connector and install the shift boot assembly and shift knob.

• Route the four climate control wires down to the newly installed mounting bracket, and
connect them to the climate control panel.
• Install the climate control panel into the cage.
• Inspect the factory connector and identify if it utilizes round style pins (early models) or
flat style pins (later models), and select the corresponding wiring harness.
• Install the appropriate harness into the factory connector and close the sliding lock.
• Install the CAN-bus decoder module into the white connector in the new harness.

• Install the included radio antenna adapter onto the factory radio antenna cable.
• Plug the black connector on the new wiring harness into the back of the new radio.
• Plug the radio antenna adapter into the back of the new radio.
• Install the new GPS antenna by doing the following:
-Find a suitable location to mount the GPS antenna which is clear of obstacles that may
cause signal interference.
-Mount the GPS antenna in the desired location using double-sided tape or the
integrated magnet.
-Route the cable from the mounting location to the back of the new radio, removing
trim panels to tuck and secure the cable as needed.

• Connect the GPS antenna connector into the back of the new radio.
• Screw the WiFi antenna into the back of the new radio and tighten it until snug.
• Install the USB adapter harness into the back of the new radio.
Step #10 • Install the USB port by doing the following:
-Find a convenient location to mount the USB port, we found the center console to
work well on this model.
-Plug the USB port into the USB adapter labeled “USB-OTG” on the back of the new
radio.
-Route the USB port to the desired mounting location, removing trim panels to tuck
and secure the cable as needed.

• Slide the new radio into the dash and adjust it until the radio face is flush with the rest of
the dash.
• Install the two mounting screws and tighten them until they are snug, but do not over
tighten them.
• Install the vent and secure it to the radio with the two screws.
• Turn the radio on and test for functionality (sound, video, steering wheel controls, GPS,
Wifi, etc.) then:
-Reinstall the RH trim panel.
-Reinstall the LH trim panel.
Congratulations, your installation is complete!
