When using this or any other electrical appliance, always follow these basic safety
precautions, especially when children are present.

BEFORE USE
WARNING-- To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, serious personal injury and
property damage please note the following:
•This product is not intended for use by children. Keep the product out of the reach of
children and pets. Extra caution is necessary when using this appliance near children.
•Always ensure the product is unplugged from the electrical outlet and allowed to cool
before assembling, disassembling, relocating, or cleaning it.
•Do not leave the product unattended while it is in use. Always unplug the product from
the electrical outlet when not in use.
•Do not immerse the Base, Power Cord, or Plug of this product in or expose the Power
Cord or Plug to water or other liquids.
•Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs when handling product. Use
protective oven mitts or gloves when removing the Lid or handling hot containers to
avoid burns or personal injury.
•Take proper precautions to prevent burns, fire, or personal or property damage as this
appliance generates heat and steam during use.
•Do not use attachments not recommended or sold by the product manufacturer.
Attachments, when furnished, may become hot during use. Allow any attachments to
cool before handling them.
•Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner, in a heated oven, or other heated
surfaces.
•Use extreme caution when moving an appliance containing hot food, water, or other
liquids.
•Use the product in a well-ventilated area. Keep at least 4-6 inches of space on all sides
of the product to allow adequate air circulation.
•Use appliance on a table or flat surface.
•Keep the product away from curtains, wall coverings, clothing, dishtowels, or other
flammable materials.
•Do not plug or unplug the product from the electrical outlet with a wet hand.
•This product is intended solely for non-commercial, non-industrial, household use in
cooking of food for human consumption; do not use the product outdoors or for any
other purpose.
•Do not operate the product empty.
•Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter where it may be tripped over or
pulled. Do not allow cord to touch hot surfaces.

•Do not operate the product if it has a damaged or cut Power Cord or plug, if wires are
exposed, if it malfunctions, if it is dropped or damaged, or if the Motor Housing is
dropped in or exposed to water.
•This product has no user-serviceable parts.
•Do not attempt to examine or repair this product yourself. Only qualified service
personnel should perform any servicing; take the product to the appliance repair shop
of your choice for inspection and repair.
•Do not put any stress on the power cord where it connects to the product, as the power
cord could fray and break.
SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS:
•Always place the Drip Tray for fat under grilling surface before beginning to cook
•To disconnect the product from an electrical outlet, turn the Control Knob to the "OFF"
position, and then pull directly on the plug; do not pull on the power cord.
•A short power supply cord is provided to reduce the risk of becoming entangled in or
tripping over a longer cord. An extension cord is not recommended for use with this
product, but if one must be used:
The marked electrical rating must be at least as great as that of the product;
If the product is of a 3-prong grounding type, the extension cord must be a
grounding-type 3-wire cord.
Arrange the extension cord so that it will not drape over the countertop or tabletop
where it can be tripped over or pulled.
WARNING: This product is equipped with a polarized plug (one
blade is wider than the other blade) to reduce the risk of electrical
shock. This is a safety feature. The plug will fit into a polarized
outlet only one way. If you are unable to insert the plug into the
electrical outlet, try reversing the plug. If the plug still does not fit, contact a qualified
electrician. Never use the plug with an extension cord unless you can fully insert the plug
into the extension cord. Do not alter the plug. Do not attempt to defeat the safety
purpose of the polarized plug.

Before First Use
IMPORTANT: Please check all packaging material carefully before discarding as
there may be accessory parts contained within the packaging material.
WARNING: Always use your Brentwood Grill on a dry, level, heat-resistant surface.
Do Not Use without Drip Pan securely in place.
NOTE: All

1. Please clean surfaces of grill before first use. See “Cleaning” section of this
manual.
2. Place Drip pan onto base of Grill. *Do not use appliance without Drip pan in
proper place.
3. Plug the heat control into grill and plug the Power cord into a standard 120-volt
AC electrical outlet, and then turn the Control Knob to desired heat level. Preheat
the Indoor Electric Grill until indictor light shuts off.
NOTE: A slight odor and small smoking can occur upon heating, it is normal. This
is a result of the heating element chemical reaction. It quickly goes away.
Parts
Using Your Indoor Electric Grill:
You can now begin grilling your desired food. Our Guide below will help give you an
idea of cooking times.
•The Signal light may turn on and off, this indicates the proper temperature of
your grill is being maintained.
•When the food has been cooked through you can keep it warm by changing
Control Dial to “Warming”.
Note: Frozen food should always be thawed before it is grilled.
•If cooking large quantities of food it is recommended to occasionally remove the
accumulated fat from the drip tray in between batches.
CAUTION: Always use hot pads when handling. The handles of the grill become
very hot during cooking.
•This grill comes with a flat cooking surface as well which is great for cooking hash
browns, frying eggs, pancakes, etc.
•When heating is complete, turn the Control Knob to the "OFF" position, and then
unplug the product from the electrical outlet.
WARNING: Always unplug the product from the electrical outlet when it is not in
use or will be left unattended.

Cleaning Your Electric Grill:
WARNING: Always unplug the product and allow it to cool completely before
cleaning or storing it.
•Remove the heat control from the grill. Carefully lift drip pan out of base. Dispose
of any liquid in the drip pan.
Note: Before grilling you can add a small amount of water to the drip pan to make
cleanup easier.
•Wash Drip pan and grill with warm soapy water and non-metal cleaning pad. Do
not use abrasive cleaners or metal pads as they may damage the nonstick.
•DO NOT IMMERSE THIS APPLIANCE.
•Dry your Electric Grill thoroughly before storing.

3. Pickup and delivery
4. Damage resulting from accident, alteration, misuse, abuse, fire, flood, improper
installation, acts of God, or use of products not approved by Brentwood Appliances.
5. Repairs to parts or systems resulting from unauthorized modifications made to the
appliance.
6. Service or warranty support for units located and/or operated outside the United States.
NO WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO,

RECOMMANDATIONS ADDITIONNELLES :
Un court cordon d’alimentation est fourni afin de réduire les risques de s’enchevêtrer ou
de trébucher dans un cordon plus long. L’utilisation d’une rallonge n’est pas recommandée
avec ce produit, mais si elle doit être utilisée :
La puissance nominale indiquée sur la corde doit être au moins aussi grande que
celle de l’appareil;
Si le cordon de l’appareil est relié à la terre à 3 fils, la corde de rallonge doit aussi
être reliée à la terre à 3 fils.
Installer la rallonge de façon à ce qu’elle ne pende pas du comptoir ou de la table
où l’on pourrait s’y accrocher ou trébucher.
AVERTISSEMENT: Cet appareil est muni d'une fiche d’alimentation
polarisée (une broche est plus large que l'autre). Il s'agit là d'une

CONSERVEZ CES INSTRUCTIONS

Avant la première utilisation
IMPORTANT: vérifiez soigneusement tous les matériaux d'emballage avant de les jeter, car
il peut y avoir des pièces accessoires contenues dans le matériau d'emballage.

1. Avec un chiffon humide, essuyez doucement les plaques de gril. Cela supprime toute

Utilisation de votre gril électrique intérieur:
Vous pouvez maintenant commencer à griller votre nourriture désirée. Notre guide
ci-dessous vous donnera une idée des temps de cuisson.
•Le voyant lumineux peut s'allumer et éteindre, cela indique que la température
appropriée de votre gril est maintenue.
•Lorsque la nourriture a été cuite, vous pouvez la réchauffer en changeant le
bouton de commande sur «Réchauffement».
•Remarque: Les aliments congelés doivent toujours être décongelés avant d'être
grillés.
•Si vous faites cuire de grandes quantités de nourriture, il est recommandé
d'enlever occasionnellement la graisse accumulée du bac d'égout entre les lots.
ATTENTION: Toujours utiliser des plaques chauffantes lors de la manipulation. Les
poignées de la grille deviennent très chaud pendant la cuisson.
•Cette grille comprend également une surface de cuisson idéale, ce qui est idéal
pour cuisiner des marrons, des œufs de friture, des crêpes, etc.
•Lorsque le chauffage est terminé, tournez le bouton de commande sur la position
"OFF", puis débranchez le produit de la prise électrique.

•Retirez le contrôle de la chaleur du gril. Soulevez soigneusement la goutte à
