• Read all instructions before operating and save for
future reference
• Remove any packaging material and promotional
stickers before using the Crazy Snow for the
rst time.
• Do not place the Crazy Snow near the edge of a
bench or table during operation.
• Always ensure the surface is dry, level and clean.
• Do not place the Crazy Snow on or near a hot gas
or electric burner, or where it could touch a
heated oven.
• Do not attempt to operate the Crazy Snow by any
method other than those described in this booklet.
• Always make sure the Crazy Snow is completely and
properly assembled before operating.
• Do not leave the Crazy Snow unattended when
in use.
• Always ensure the Crazy Snow is turned off at the
power outlet and the cord is unplugged before
attempting to move the appliance, when not in
use, if left unattended and before disassembling,
cleaning or storing.
• Use caution when washing and drying the ice
shaving blade body as the ice shaving blade is
extremely sharp.
• Do not place any part of the Crazy Snow in
the dishwasher
• Do not place ngers or utensils in the feed chute or
near the ice shaving blade.
• Do not operate the Crazy Snow continuously for
periods longer than 5 minutes without unplugging
the appliance and allowing to cool for 30 minutes.
• To protect against electric shock do not immerse the
cord, power plug or motor body of the Crazy Snow in
water or any other liquid.
• Keep the appliance clean. Follow the cleaning
instructions provided in this book.

customer, foremost in mind.
In addition, we ask that you exercise a degree of care when using any electrical appliance and adhere
to the following precautions:
IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS FOR YOUR

DO NOT IMMERSE THE MOTOR BODY IN WATER OR ANY OTHER LIQUID.

• Unwind the cord fully before use.
• Do not let the cord hang over the edge of a table or
counter, touch hot surfaces or become knotted.
• This appliance is not intended for use by young
children or inrm persons without supervision.
• Young children should be supervised to ensure that
they do not play with the appliance.
• It is recommended to regularly inspect the
appliance. Do not use the appliance if the power
supply cord, plug or appliance becomes damaged in
any way. Return the entire appliance to the nearest
authorised Breville service centre for examination
and/or repair.
• Any maintenance, other than cleaning, should be
performed at an authorised Breville Service Centre.
• This appliance is for household use only. Do not use
this appliance for anything other than its intended
use. Do not use in moving vehicles or boats. Do not
use outdoors.
• The installation of a residual current device (safety
switch) is recommended to provide additional safety
protection when using electrical appliances. It is
advisable that a safety switch with a rated residual
operating current not exceeding 30mA be installed
in the electrical circuit supplying the appliance.
See your electrician for professional advice.
• Keep the appliance clean. Follow the cleaning
instructions provided in this book.

BEFORE FIRST USE
Remove any packaging material and promotional
labels. Remove the lid housing, ice stirring paddles,
ice collector and ice shaving blade (following the
disassembly instructions) and wash in warm soapy
water. Rinse and dry thoroughly making sure there is
no residual water that can run into the motor body.
With a damp cloth, wipe the ice shaving blade body
and motor body using caution around the blade area,
dry thoroughly.
TO DISASSEMBLE THE CRAZY SNOW
Switch off and unplug the cord of the appliance at
the power outlet.
Remove the Ice collector.
Carefully remove the ice
shaving blade from the
ice shaving blade body by
unscrewing the knob in an
anticlockwise direction.
Take care when handling
the ice shaving blade as it
is very sharp.
Depress the button located
at the back of the ice shaving
blade body then remove
the lid housing by lifting it
upwards away from the ice
shaving blade body.
Remove the ice stirring
paddles from the ice shaving
blade body by unscrewing
the knob in an anticlockwise
direction.
OPERATING YOUR BREVILLE CRAZY SNOW
NOTE!!
If the ice shaving blade is not removed as shown
in Step 3, care must be taken to avoid touching
the ice shaving blade located towards the front of
the ice shaving blade body.

TO ASSEMBLE THE CRAZY SNOW
Insert the ice stirring paddles
into the ice shaving blade
body. Insert knob and screw
in a clockwise direction to
lock ice stirring paddles
into place.
Align front of lid housing
with front of ice shaving
blade body and rmly push
down the rear of the lid
housing until it locks
into position.
Carefully insert ice shaving blade into the front of the
ice shaving blade body. Insert knob and screw in a
clockwise direction to lock in place.
USING THE CRAZY SNOW
Ensure the Crazy Snow is completely and properly
assembled (following the assembly instructions).
The Crazy Snow will only operate when correctly
assembled. This is a safety feature.
Lift the lid and place ice cubes into the Crazy Snow.
Place the ice collector into position under the ice
shaving blade to catch the shaved ice.
Insert the plug into a 230/240V power outlet and
turn the power on.
Depress the lid marked with ‘PUSH’ to start the
appliance. Keep the lid depressed to operate.
Release the lid to stop the Crazy Snow.
NOTE!!
Too many or too large ice cubes will cause the
Crazy Snow to stall or not work at all. Remove
some of the ice cubes or use smaller ice cubes
and continue the process.
OPERATING YOUR BREVILLE CRAZY SNOW
NOTE!!
The ice shaving blade body can be rotated in
a clockwise direction. The Crazy Snow will not
operate unless the ice shaving blade body is
rotated anticlockwise back into the correct position
and the lid housing is locked into place. This is a
safety feature.

Turn the power off at the power outlet and remove
the plug.
Remove the ice collector and dispense shaved ice into
suitable bowls or cups. See recipe ideas.
Repeat with more ice cubes if desired. Do not operate
the Crazy Snow for longer than 5 minutes – unplug and
allow to cool for 30 minutes.
Before cleaning, turn the power off at the power
outlet and then remove the plug.
Disassemble the Crazy Snow following the
instructions provided.
The lid housing, ice stirring paddles, ice collector and
ice shaving blade should be washed in warm soapy
water. Rinse and dry thoroughly making sure there is
no residual water that can run into the motor body.
Do not wash any parts in the dishwasher.
Wipe the ice shaving blade body and motor body with
a damp cloth only, dry thoroughly. Do not use abrasive
cleaners or steel wool. When cleaning the area around
the ice shaving blade, use caution. Either remove the
ice shaving blade or keep ngers away from this area
as the blade is extremely sharp.
Before storage, turn the power off at the power outlet
and then remove the plug. Ensure the appliance is
clean and completely dry. Store upright on a bench
or in a convenient cupboard. Do not store any heavy
objects on top of the Crazy Snow Ice Shaver.
DO NOT WASH ANY PARTS OF THE CRAZY
SNOW IN THE DISHWASHER.
CARE, CLEANING & STORAGE
THE ICE SHAVING BLADE IS EXTREMELY
SHARP, HANDLE WITH CARE. KEEP FINGERS
AWAY FROM THE BLADE AT ALL TIMES.
NOTE!!
The Crazy Snow may be noisy in operation but this
is caused by the processing of the ice cubes.

Add your favourite juice such as orange, apple,
pineapple or tropical to the shaved ice.
Add your favourite cordial to shaved ice and enjoy the
icy treat. You can also add the cordial to the water
before its frozen to create a coloured snow effect.
Use soft drinks to enjoy a different delicious
icy avour.
FOR KIDS
FOR ADULTS
30ml tequila
15ml fresh lime juice
30ml Triple sec or Cointreau
Shaved ice
Place all ingredients except ice into cocktail shaker
and shake it well. Place shaved ice into glass with a
salted rim. Pour cocktail mixture over the shaved ice
and serve garnished with a lime slice.
60ml pineapple juice
30ml coconut cream
30ml dark rum
Shaved ice
Place all ingredients except ice into cocktail shaker
and shake it well. Place shaved ice into glass. Pour
cocktail mixture over the shaved ice and serve
garnished with pineapple leaves.
15ml white rum
15ml advocaat
60ml orange juice
15ml cream
Shaved ice
Place all ingredients except ice into cocktail shaker
and shake it well. Place shaved ice into glass.
Pour cocktail mixture over the shaved ice and serve
garnished with a twisted orange slice.
30ml Midori
30ml Malibu
60ml pineapple juice
40ml cream
Shaved ice
Place all ingredients except ice into cocktail shaker
and shake it well. Place shaved ice into glass. Pour
cocktail mixture over the shaved ice and serve
garnished with a slice of pineapple and a
cocktail cherry.
