Set up Scan to Email –SCX-5935
Get the IP address of the machine
1. Press Machine Setup
2. Touch Machine Status
3. Touch the Machine Info tab
4. Touch Print Report
5. Select Configuration Report
6. Touch Print
7. Touch Home
The IP address of the machine is located on the configuration report.

Log in to the SyncThru Web Service
1. Open up your web browser
2. Enter the IP address of the machine into the address bar.
3. Click Login (upper right corner)
4. The ID is admin and the password is sec00000
Set the email smtp settings
*** NOTE *** you will need to know your smtp server settings and username/password if any.
5. Click Settings->Network Settings
6. On the side menu, click Outgoing Mail Server(SMTP)
7. Enter your SMTP server information (do NOT enter POP3 Authentication)

8. Under Advanced, Select SLL/TLS if required, the default from address and change the maximum
message size to 4MB.
9. Click Apply
10. Click Settings->Machine Setup
11. On the left hand side, under Scan click Change Default
12. Ensure that the Scan To E-Mail settings are as follows:
13. Click Apply
14. Under Scan click Scan To E-mail

15. Enter the default From Address and change Print Confirmation Sheet to On Errors Only
16. Click Apply
17. Log out of SyncThru Web Service

Set up an email address to the address book
1. Log into the SyncThru Web Service
2. Click Address Book
3. Click Add
4. Under General enter the desired name
5. Under Email enter the email address
6. Click Apply
7. Log out of SyncThru Web Service
