workmanship or both. Transportation charges on parts submitted for repair or replacement under this warranty must be borne by purchaser.
This warranty is effective for the time periods and subject to the conditions stated below. For warranty service, find the nearest Authorized

THERE IS NO OTHER EXPRESS WARRANTY. IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING THOSE OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS
FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ARE LIMITED TO ONE YEAR FROM PURCHASE, OR TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW ANY AND
ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES ARE EXCLUDED. LIABILITY FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARE EXCLUDED TO THE

The warranty period begins on the date of purchase by the first retail consumer or commercial end user, and continues for the period of time
stated in the table above. “Consumer use” means personal residential household use by a retail consumer. “Commercial use” means all other
uses, including use for commercial, income producing or rental purposes. Once equipment has experienced commercial use, it shall thereafter
be considered as commercial use for purposes of this warranty. Equipment used for prime power in place of utility are not applicable to
this warranty. Electric powered pressure washers used for commercial purposes are not warranted.
NO WARRANTY REGISTRATION IS NECESSARY TO OBTAIN WARRANTY ON BRIGGS & STRATTON PRODUCTS.

AT THE TIME WARRANTY SERVICE IS REQUESTED, THE MANUFACTURING DATE OF THE PRODUCT WILL BE
USED TO DETERMINE THE WARRANTY PERIOD.

We welcome warranty repair and apologize to you
for being inconvenienced. Any Authorized Service
Dealer may perform warranty repairs. Most
warranty repairs are handled routinely, but
sometimes requests for warranty service may not
be appropriate. For example, warranty service
would not apply if equipment damage occurred
because of misuse, lack of routine maintenance,
shipping, handling, warehousing or improper
installation. Similarly, the warranty is void if the
manufacturing date or the serial number on the
equipment has been removed or the equipment
has been altered or modified. During the warranty
period, the Authorized Service Dealer, at its option,
will repair or replace any part that, upon
examination, is found to be defective under normal
use and service. This warranty will not cover the
following repairs and equipment:
•Normal Wear: Outdoor Power Equipment, like
all mechanical devices, needs periodic parts
and service to perform well. This warranty does
not cover repair when normal use has
exhausted the life of a part or the equipment.
•Installation and Maintenance: This warranty
does not apply to equipment or parts that have
been subjected to improper or unauthorized
installation or alteration and modification,
misuse, negligence, accident, overloading,
overspeeding, improper maintenance, repair
or storage so as, in our judgment, to adversely
affect its performance and reliability. This
warranty also does not cover normal mainte-
nance such as adjustments, fuel system
cleaning and obstruction (due to chemical, dirt,
carbon, lime, etc.).
•Other Exclusions: This warranty excludes
wear items such as quick couplers, oil gauges,
belts, o-rings, filters, pump packing, etc.,
pumps that have been run without water
supplied or damage or malfunctions resulting
from accidents, abuse, modifications, alter-
ations, or improper servicing or freezing or
chemical deterioration. Accessory parts such
as guns, hoses, wands and nozzles are
excluded from the product warranty. This
warranty excludes failures due to acts of God
and other major force events beyond the
manufacturers control. Also excluded is
used, reconditioned, and demonstration
equipment; equipment used for prime power
in place ofutility power andequipmentused in
life support applications.

Recibimos con agrado la reparación bajo garantía y
le pedimos disculpas por los inconvenientes
presentados. Cualquier Distribuidor de Servicio
Autorizado puede hacer reparaciones bajo garantía.
La mayor parte de las reparaciones bajo garantía se
atienden de manera rutinaria, pero algunas veces
las peticiones para el servicio de garantía pueden no
ser apropiadas. Por ejemplo, el servicio de garantía
podría no aplicarse si el daño del equipo ocurrió
debido a uso inadecuado, falta del mantenimiento
habitual, transporte, manejo, bodegaje o instalación
inapropiados. De igual manera se invalidará la
garantía si la fecha de fabricación o el número serial
en el equipo ha sido removido o si el motor ha sido
alterado o modificado. Durante el período de
garantía, el Distribuidor de Servicio Autorizado, a su
criterio, reparará o cambiará cualquier parte que,
bajo análisis, se considere como defectuosa bajo
uso y servicio normal. Esta garantía no cubrirá las
siguientes reparaciones y el equipo:
•Desgaste Normal: El Equipo A Motor para Uso
En Exteriores, como todos los aparatos
mecánicos, necesita partes y servicio periódico
para funcionar bien. Esta garantía no cubre la
reparación cuando el uso normal haya agotado
la vida de una parte o del equipo.
•Instalación y Mantenimiento: Esta garantía
no se aplica al equipo ni a las partes que hayan
estado sujetos a una instalación no apropiada o
no autorizada o debido a alteraciones o
modificaciones, uso inadecuado, negligencia,
accidente, sobrecarga, exceso de velocidad,
mantenimiento incorrecto, reparación o
bodegaje que a nuestro juicio afecte
adversamente su funcionamiento y
confiabilidad. Esta garantía tampoco cubre el
mantenimiento normal tal como ajustes,
limpieza y obstrucción del sistema de
combustible (debido a químicos, suciedades,
carbón o cal, etc.)
•Otras Exclusiones: Esta Garantía excluye el
desgaste de los artículos tales como acoples
rápidos, medidores de aceite, correas, o-rings,
filtros, empaquetaduras de bombas, etc., las
bombas que se hayan hecho funcionar sin agua
y los daños derivados de accidentes, uso
indebido, modificaciones, alteraciones, servicio
inadecuado, congelación o deterioro químico.
Los accesorios tales comopistolas, mangue-
ras, varillas y boquillas quedan excluidos de
la garantía del producto. Esta garantía
excluye casos fortuitos por la naturaleza y
otros eventos de fuerza mayor que vayan
más allá del control de los fabricantes.
También excluye los equipos usados o
reacondicionados ylos destinados a demos-
traciones; losequiposutilizados comofuente
principal de energía en lugar de un servicio
público ylos equipos sanitariosdestinados al
mantenimiento de las constantes vitales.

présente garantie restent à charge de l’acheteur. Cette garantie est d’application pendant la période et aux conditions prévues ci-dessous.

La période de garantie débute à la date d’achat par le premier acheteur de détail ou par le premier utilisateur commercial final, et couvre la durée stipulée dans le
tableau ci-dessus. Par « usage privé », on entend une utilisation personnelle résidentielle par l’acheteur de détail. Par « usage professionnel », on entend toute
autre utilisation, y compris à des fins commerciales, donnant lieu à rémunération ou location. Dès la première exploitation de l’équipement en usage
professionnel, il est réputé être définitivement à usage professionnel au titre de la présente garantie. Les équipements utilisés pour une alimentation
principale en remplacement du réseau public d’électricité ne sont pas couverts par la présente garantie. Les nettoyeurs haute pression à moteur
électrique utilisés à des fins commerciales ne sont pas couverts.

Nous acceptons les réparations sous garantie et
nous nous excusons des dérangements
occasionnés. Tout Réparateur Agréé peut
effectuer des réparations sous garantie. La
plupart des réparations sous garantie sont
effectuées normalement, mais certaines
demandes de réparation sous garantie peuvent
ne pas être acceptables. Par exemple, une
réparation sous garantie ne s’applique pas si
l’équipement a été endommagé suite à une
mauvaise utilisation, l’absence d’entretien
normal, une expédition, une manutention, un
stockage ou une installation défectueuse.
De même, la garantie est nulle si la date de
fabrication ou le numéro de série ont été enlevés
ou si l’équipement a été altéré ou modifié.
Pendant la période de garantie, le Réparateur
Agréé peut, de son plein gré, décider de réparer
ou de remplacer une pièce qui, à l’examen,
s’avère être défectueuse lors d’une utilisation
courante et d’un entretien normal. Cette garantie
ne couvre pas les réparations suivantes ni les
équipements suivants :
•Usure normale : Les équipements motorisés
d’extérieur, comme tous les dispositifs méca-
nisés, nécessitent un entretien régulier et le
remplacement des pièces d’usure pour
fonctionner correctement. Cette garantie ne
couvre pas la réparation de pièces ou
d’équipements usés par un usage normal.
•Installation et maintenance : Cette garantie
ne s’applique pas à des équipements ou à des
pièces qui ont fait l’objet d’une installation
incorrecte ou non autorisée, qui ont été altérés,
modifiés, mal employés ou qui ont fait l’objet
d’accidents, de négligence, de surcharge, de
survitesse, de maintenance inappropriée, de
réparation ou de stockage qui, à notre avis, ont
affecté les performances et la fiabilité. Cette
garantie ne couvre pas non plus l’entretien
normal comme les réglages, le nettoyage du
système d’alimentation d’essence et les
obstructions (dues à des produits chimiques,
de la poussière, du carbone ou du tartre, etc.).
•Autres exclusions : Sont également exclues
de la présente garantie les pièces d’usure
telles que les raccords rapides, les jauges à
huile, les courroies, les joints toriques, les
filtres, les garnitures de pompes, etc., les
pompes ayant fonctionné sans alimentation en
eau ou tout dommage ou mauvais RUN
résultant d’un accident, d’une utilisation
abusive, d’une modification, d’un déréglage
volontaire ou d’un entretien inadéquat du
système, du gel ou d’une détérioration
chimique. La garantie du produit ne couvre
pas les pièces accessoires telles que les
pistolets, les flexibles, les lances et les
buses. Elle ne couvre pas non plus les
dommages dus aux catastrophes naturelles
ni autres événements de force majeure hors
de portée des fabricants. Les équipements
reconditionnés ou de démonstration sont
également exclus de la garantie ; les
équipements utilisés pour une alimentation
principale en remplacement duréseau public
d’électricité ou dans les applications de
survie ne sont pas couverts par la présente
garantie.
