BEFORE ASSEMBLING AND OPERATING YOUR COOKER.

• Only use this grill on a hard, level, noncombustible, stable surface (concrete, ground, etc.) capable of supporting
the weight of the unit. DO NOT use on wooden or other surfaces that could burn.
• FOR OUTDOOR USE ONLY. DO NOT operate grill indoors or in an enclosed area. In windy weather, place grill in an
outdoor area that is protected from the wind.
• Proper clearance of 10 feet between grill and combustible materials (bushes, trees, wooden decks, fences,
buildings, etc.) or construction should be maintained at all times when grill is in use. DO NOT place grill under a
roof overhang or other enclosed area.
• Place a metal pan or pot under grill to catch any ashes or embers that may escape the grill.
• DO NOT use gasoline, kerosene or alcohol for lighting wood. Use of any of these or similar products will cause an
explosion possibly leading to severe bodily injury.
• This is an attended product. DO NOT leave grill unattended while in use or while hot.
• Never move grill when in use or when it contains hot coals or ashes.
• Keep grill in an area where children and pets cannot come into contact with unit. Close supervision is necessary
when the grill is in use or hot after use.
• Never add charcoal lighting fluid to hot or even warm coals as flashback or explosion may occur causing severe
burns.
• DO NOT store or use grill near gasoline or other flammable liquids, gases or where flammable vapors may be
present.
• To avoid personal injury, DO NOT wear loose clothing or allow hair to hang freely while tending to grill.
• DO NOT burn any material other than wood or charcoal in grill as your fuel source.
• Always use oven mitts/gloves to protect your hands. Surfaces will be very HOT!
• Safety pins should be used at all times. Insert safety pins in nearest holes directly under cooking grill.
• Never leave hot coals and ashes in grill unattended. Remaining coals and ashes must be extinguished. Use
caution to protect yourself and property. Carefully saturate coals completely with water. Allow coals and water to
remain in grill 24 hours prior to disposing.
• With garden hose, completely wet the surface beneath and around the grill to extinguish any ashes, coals or
embers which may have fallen during use or cleaning.
• Use caution when lifting or moving the grill to prevent strains and back injuries. Moving the grill may require the
help of an additional person.
• We advise that a fire extinguisher be on hand. Refer to your local authority to determine proper size and type of
fire extinguisher.
• DO NOT use wood logs over 18 inches in length.
USE CAUTION AND COMMON SENSE WHEN OPERATING YOUR OUTDOOR GAS GRILL.

Place the fire bowl on platform, then
attach legs to fire box using twelve
M6 X 12 mm bolts as illustrated.

Insert warming rack bracket and
swing hook holder into holes on front
and rear legs. Secure with swing hook
set pins and cooking grate set pins.
Set warming rack onto warming rack
bracket and secure with cooking grate
set pins.

Place cooking grates on upper or
lower center supports. Then adjust set
pins in side posts to support the
middle of cooking grates.

Attach spit holder bracket and spit
holder stop bracket to spit holder
supports using two M6 X 12 mm wing
bolts. Insert spit holder supports into
holes next to cooking grate center
supports. Set height to desired level.
Step 11
Assemble spit by sliding forks onto spit
with pointed end facing the middle.
Secure using M6 X 12 mm wing bolts.

Assemble spit spring handle by sliding
onto spit handle end and secure with
M10 flat washer and M10 cap nut.

Adding Charcoal/
Wood During
Cooking
WARNING: DO NOT use wood logs over 18“ in length.
Stand back a safe distance and use fireplace tongs to lightly brush aside ashes on
hot coals. Use fireplace tongs to add charcoal and/or wood to your Brinkmann
Ranch Fire Pit & Grill, being careful not to stir-up ashes and sparks.
WARNING: Keep hot coals and ashes away from the edges of the grill to prevent
embers from falling out.
WARNING: With garden hose, completely wet the surface beneath and around the
grill to extinguish any ashes, coals or embers which may have fallen
during use or cleaning.
WARNING: DO NOT use pretreated charcoal or Duraflame®logs.
Prior to your first use of the Brinkmann Ranch Fire Pit & Grill, follow the
instructions below carefully to cure your grill. Curing your grill will minimize damage to
the exterior finish as well as rid the grill of paint odor that can impart unnatural flavors
to the first meal prepared on your Brinkmann Ranch Fire Pit & Grill.
IMPORTANT: To protect your grill from excessive rust, the unit must be properly cured
and covered at all times when not in use.
Step 1
Lightly coat all interior surfaces of the grill body including cooking grill with
vegetable oil or vegetable oil spray.
Step 2
To build a fire, you may use charcoal and/or wood as fuel in the Brinkmann Ranch
Fire Pit & Grill.
WARNING: DO NOT use gasoline, kerosene or alcohol for lighting wood. Use of any of
these or similar products will cause an explosion possibly leading to
severe bodily injury.
Step 3
With the coals burning strong, maintain a good fire for 1 hour then allow unit to cool
completely.
NOTE: It is important that the exterior of the grill is not scraped or rubbed during the
curing process.
Curing Your Grill
READ ALL SAFETY WARNINGS AND INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY
BEFORE OPERATING YOUR GRILL.
PLACE THE GRILL OUTDOORS ON A HARD, LEVEL, NON-COMBUSTIBLE SURFACE AWAY FROM ROOF OVERHANG OR ANY
MATERIAL. NEVER USE ON WOODEN OR OTHER SURFACES THAT COULD BURN. PLACE THE GRILL AWAY FROM OPEN
WINDOWS OR DOORS TO PREVENT SMOKE FROM ENTERING YOUR HOUSE. IN WINDY WEATHER, PLACE THE GRILL IN AN
OUTDOOR AREA THAT IS PROTECTED FROM THE WIND.
PREPARATION FOR USE & LIGHTING INSTRUCTIONS
PROPER CARE & MAINTENANCE
• If rust appears on the exterior surface of your outdoor grill, clean and buff the affected area with steel wool or fine grit emery cloth.
Touch-up with a good quality high-temperature resistant paint.

ADVERTENCIA
• Utilice esta parrilla únicamente sobre una superficie estable dura, nivelada, no combustible (concreto, piso, etc.)
capaz de aguantar el peso del ahumador. Nunca lo utilice sobre superficies de madera o de otro tipo que podrían
quemarse.
• Para uso externo únicamente. No debe operarse en interiores o en una zona cerrada. Cuando haya mucho viento,
ponga su parrilla en una zona externa protegida del viento.
• Tiene que haber un espacio de 10 pies (3.3 m) entre la parrilla y materiales combustibles (arbustos, árboles, terrazas
de madera, cercas, edificios, etc.) o una construcción en todo momento en que la parrilla está en uso. No coloque la
parrilla debajo del voladizo de un techo u otro lugar cerrado.
• Ubique una bandeja u olla metálica debajo de la parrilla para atrapar las cenizas o brasas que puedan salir de la
parrilla.
• No utilice gasolina, queroseno o alcohol para encender el carbón de leña. El empleo de uno de estos productos o uno
similar podría causar una explosión con posibles lesiones graves a la persona.
• Este es un producto que requiere supervisión. NO DEJE la parrilla sin supervisión mientras esté en uso o caliente.
• Nunca mueva la parrilla mientras esté en uso o contenga carbones o cenizas calientes.
• Mantenga la parrilla en un área donde los niños y mascotas no puedan entrar en contacto con la unidad. Es
necesario supervisar atentamente la parrilla mientras está en uso o caliente luego de ser usada.
• Nunca añada líquido encendedor de carbón a los trozos de carbón calientes porque puede ocurrir un retroceso de la
llama que causaría quemaduras graves.
• No almacene o utilice la parrilla cerca de gasolina u otros líquidos inflamables, gases o donde se encuentren vapores
inflamables.
• Para evitar lesiones personales, NO USE ropa holgada ni el pelo suelto cuando esté utilizando la parrilla.
• NO USE ningún material que no sea madera o carbón como fuente de combustible para la parrilla.
• Siempre use guantes para cocinar para proteger las manos. ¡Las superficies estarán muy CALIENTES!
• Deben usarse pasadores de seguridad en todo momento. Inserte los pasadores de seguridad en los orificios más
cercanos directamente debajo de la parrilla.
• Nunca deje trozos de carbón y ceniza sin atender. Antes de dejar su parrilla desatendida, saque los trozos de carbón
sobrantes y la ceniza de su parrilla. Tenga precaución para cuidar su persona y propiedad. Con cuidado, meta los
trozos de carbón sobrantes y la ceniza en un recipiente metálico no combustible y llénelo totalmente de agua. Deje
los trozos de carbón en el recipiente metálico por 24 horas antes de tirarlos a la basura.
• Con una manguera de jardín, empape la superficie debajo y alrededor de la parrilla para extinguir cualesquiera cenizas, carbón o
brasas que pudieran haber caído durante el proceso de cocción o limpieza.
• Tenga precaución al levantar o mover su parrilla para no lastimarse o torcerse la espalda. Puede ser necesaria la
ayuda de otra persona para mover la parrilla.
• Le recomendamos que tenga a mano un extinguidor. Refiérase a sus autoridades locales para determinar el tamaño y tipo
apropiados de extinguidor.
• NO USE troncos de madera de más de 45 cm (18 pulg.) de largo.

despejada y consiga un amigo

Inserte el soporte del bastidor
calentador y el sostén del gancho de
balanceo en los orificios en las patas
trasera y delantera. Asegúrelos con
los pasadores de ajuste del gancho
de balanceo y los pasadores de
ajuste de la rejilla de cocción.
Coloque el bastidor calentador sobre
el soporte del bastidor calentador y
asegúrelo con los pasadores de
ajuste de la rejilla de cocción.
Paso 9
Ubique las rejillas de cocción sobre
los soportes centrales superiores o
inferiores. Luego ajuste los
pasadores de ajuste en los postes
laterales para apoyar el centro de las

tornillos mariposa M6 X 12 mm.
Inserte los soportes del sostén del
espetón en los orificios al lado de los
soportes centrales de la rejilla de
cocción. Ajuste la altura al nivel
deseado.
Paso 11
Arme el espetón deslizando las
horquillas en el espetón con punta
hacia el centro. Segure utilizando
pernos de ala M6 x 12 mm.
Paso 12
Monte la manija con resorte
deslizándola contra el extremo de la
manija del espetón y asegúrela con
una arandela plana
M10 y una tuerca ciega M10.
