4 SEQUENCE OF ASSEMBLY
1. Initial assembly of support frame I048140
Attach both connecting rods I048141 (horizontal
tubes) to the supports on the left and right side,
push the threaded rods through the tubes and af-
fix with M12 nuts and washers. Mount only the
two connecting rod assemblies first.

2. Insert the back plate

Remove the transport securing screws on the ends of the longer beams.
Insert the back plate onto both square profiles of the left and right girder.
Remove the 8 screws (see Illustr. 1 - 1.5) – if present.
3. Adjust the height of back plate
To adjust the height of back plate, mount the
hooks and the turnbuckles of the 'top door
frame' (delivery contents of every Panorama fire-
place) onto the M10 threaded rods (see Illustr. 2 -
1.6). Put the M12 threaded rod (from part no. 9 of
the support frame assembly) into the upper holes
of the girder and through the hooks. The height
of the back plate can be adjusted by turning the
turnbuckles.

The necessary height from concrete floor to sup-
porting level (see H-Auflager below) depends
from the floor structure and the desired mount-
ing height of the door frame above the finished
floor. The picture shows the way of establishing
the height and the use of spirit level necessary
for horizontal mounting.

The distance of the door frame to the finished floor depends from the height
adjustment of the back plate.

4. Attach the back plate
After height adjustment, the back plate is at-
tached to both girders. Use the 8 bolts M12x80
(see Illustr. 2 - 1.5), but the necessary holes in
the girders must be drilled first. Drill from inside –
you can use the already provided 12mm holes in
the back plate for positioning. Put the bolts from
outside and secure with nut and washer.

5. Complete the connecting rod assembly
The parts used for height adjustment – turnbuckles and hooks – (see point
3.) must be removed along with the M10 threaded rods. The turnbuckles
and hooks are needed later for mounting the top door frame.

The both tubular pieces of the connecting rod assembly (see Illustr. 1 - 9)
are inserted from inside into the girders left and right. Then put the M12
threaded rods through the tubes and complete the assembly with screws.
6. Position and mount the support frame in place
Put the support frame in desired position and adjust to level on the concrete
floor (see Illustr. 1 - adjusting screws 4) and attach it to the floor (e.g. M12
anchor bolts). Provide for attachment onto the building wall, if possible.
7. Suspend the fireplace
Preparation:
- Remove the steel ropes protection cover (from
the back of fireplace, where the counterweights
are moving) – it is not needed anymore.
- Lift the sliding door up
- Turn the adjustable feet on the rear to retract
them completely
Suspending:
- Bring the fireplace from the front to the support
frame, lift it up and fit the transversal strut into
the suspension brackets of the back plate
- Position the fireplace in the center of the sup-
port frame.

8. Mount the securing brace
Caution – Safety notice!
The fireplace must be lifted up during the
height adjustment of the adjustable feet. This
will cause the transversal strut to move up in
the suspension bracket. To avoid the trans-
versal strut falling out from the back plate,
the securing brace must be used!
The brace is mounted onto the stiffening profile
and attached with a M10x16 screw ( see Illustr. 2
- pos. 1.9).

9. Adjust the fireplace to level
The fireplace actually rests on the transversal
strut only. Using the adjusting screws at the back
plate, adjust the fireplace vertically. Finally, turn
the adjustable feet at the rear to expose 41 mm
of them. Check the height and level – adjust if
necessary.
Caution: Adjust the feet only when the se-
curing brace (see point 8) is mounted! When
the securing brace is not mounted, there is
a risk that the transversal strut will detach
from the back plate guides and the fireplace
falls down! Turn the adjustable feet to expose
them for max. 55mm (dimension 'H-Fuß' <
55mm).

Working steps:
- Prepare suspension points (42)
Insert a DIN 934 nut (without lock) into the hexa-
gon slots on the top of both girders, then tighten
the bolt from the inside. Set the DIN980 nut in a
distance of 12mm to the DIN 934 nut. Illustr. 21: Preparation of

- Affix the girder to the building wall behind the fireplace
If possible, use steel anchors to attach the girders on both sides to the
building wall. Use the protruding flaps 44 ()see Illustr. 19 for this.

- Put the door frame in place and provide for
necessary support
Preparation: The mounting aid screws 31 (see
Illustr. 20) must be removed from the fireplace in-
sert.
Top door frame (see Illustr. 18 - 20) must rest on-
to the sides/back of door frame (11). The frontal
bend of the top door frame should be positioned
behind the covering panel (see Illustr. 23). Jack
up the top door frame in front (see Illustr. 24) and
attach to the insert with screws - use screws 31
on both sides.

- Provide suspension
Threaded rods (see Illustr. 19 - 32) must be shortened to desired length;
combine the turnbuckles with hooks (33+34) and attach at suspension
points (42).

- Affix the top door frame
Note:
Before affixing the top door frame check the height from finished floor to
firetable top in various places and readjust if necessary. After fixing the
door frame the height adjustment is not possible anymore!
Drilling holes through girders left and right in the center of holes (see
Illustr. 20point 41) in top door frame. Drill horizontally (work precisely) and
attach on both sides with M12x80 bolts and nuts. Put a B13 washer be-
tween the top door frame and the girder in order to compensate the differ-
ence in width of the fireplace insert and the girders.

Finally, remove the mounting aid screws (see
Illustr. 20 - 31) on both sides. This will cease the
connection between the fireplace and the top
door frame – thermal expansion of the fireplace
insert do not have any effect on the door frame
and the fireplace cladding. Illustr. 31: The connection

11. Mounting and leveling of
firetable supports

Working steps:
Remove the adjustable feet from the fireplace
front on the left and right. This is where the sup-
porting brackets (see Illustr. 33 - 6) are mounted
with screws (7).
Push the firetable support beams into the mount-
ing slots of the support frame. The rectangular
beam in front should be positioned close to the
fireplace, but remember to leave at least a 3mm
gap between them. If the gap is too wide, cut
the supporting beams on both sides to the same
length. Use the adjusting screws (see Illustr. 2 -
1.2) to set in level.
After the horizontal position is set, tighten the
bolts 4 (see picture: Detail S and picture: 'Mount-
ing parts of firetable support') up to the support-
ing bracket 6 and secure with nuts 5.

The firetable support should be welded (contin-
uously, if possible) to the girders on both sides.

12. Mounting and leveling of firetable con-
soles to the firetable support beam
The consoles (see Illustr. 2 - 3) should be cut
to desired length, depending on the width of
firetable.
Arrange the consoles in even steps on the
firetable support beam and set in level. Welding
of consoles – the welding spots should be free
from paint too.

13. Construction of firetable
The necessary substructure for the firetable is
set onto the consoles. The height is only approx.
70mm – depending on the height setting choice.
