Setting Up The Device
The device must be positioned on a stable, secure and horizontal support structure prior to use. A full
vessel containers boiling hot beer wort and can weigh up to 40kg. Horizontal positioning is a
prerequisite for transfer pumping during the brewing process. Avoid an unsteady base. Most Suitable
are a stable wooden box or a table that is not too high. The DEVICE may not be moved during the
brewing process. The handles are only meant for transporting the device in an empty state. It is
imperative to keep children and frail persons away the device while it is operation.
Beer Brewing Instruction:
1. First clean all the parts of your brewing equipment, it is very important for brewing and get the
good beer.
2. Install the over flow pipe. (Over flow pipe components: long pipe*1, short pipe*1, two thread
connector*2, one thread connector*1, extend connector*1, pipe's cap*1). There are two pipes for
different volume of grain. You can combine them together by two thread connector as below image.
!
After assembling the over flow pipe, screw the over flow pipe, use the extend connector screw right
the pipe and false bottom. The downside false bottom only with 1 hole for pipe, the upside false
bottom with 3 hole, one for pipe, others for handle. You need to put the pipe's cap on when you filling
the grain in. Afterwards, you can use the one thread pipe instead of the cap.

3. Put the false bottom with over flow pipe into grain tun, then put the grain basket into water tank. Fill
the milled grain in, then put the top false bottom with handle on. Without the handle, it's very hard to
lift up the basket. Please do not pull the over flow pipe when you abandon the cooked grain out. Or
the grain will escape to water tank.
4. Fill water inside the machine, and adjust the mashing temperature, power and timer according
different beer recipe.
5. When the mashing temperature is reached. Add the malt until it cover the mash water and stir it
gently.
6. Circulation is necessary during mashing (but not for boiling)
7. After mashing, user just need to lift up the grain basket and rotate it and it will be held up by the

ring. Drain out the malt for 5mins. Then you must sparge with 72c hot water on the malt to get a
stronger wort.
8. Measure the wort with a "Hydrometer". If it shows high SG(Starting Gravity), sparge more until you
get the correct SG. (Correct SG is decided by your receipt.)
9. After finish sparging the wort, lift up the grain basket with handle, and take it away. The grain tun
should not be inside the brewer when boiling.
10. Boiling the wort after all above step. The hops adding time, and boiling leads time is subjected to
beer receipt. (Do not use the pump during boiling). Boiling leads time normally is 60mins.
11. Put the cooling coil inside the wort 5mins in advance before the boiling is done. (It's for
disinfection purpose).
12. Let the cold water go through the coil until the wort reached to 20c as fast as possible.
13. Then you can transfer the wort to fermentation bottle. (Please clean the fermentation bottle before
used). Add the yeast according to receipt. Fermentation temperature and leads time are decided by
beer receipt. Use Hydrometer to measure the FG (Final gravity) when the fermentation is nearly
done. (Fermentation bottle and Hydrometer is not including in DEVICE set).

1.1.Press “Auto Mode” button to enter step mashing program.
1.2.Each mashing step is combined with 3 elements: Temperature, Power and Timer. This program
allow 6 groups setting. It is necessary to input those 3 data then press “Auto Mode” button again
to enter into next mashing step setting up. User can press “Start” button to confirm the input data
and machine will start working.
1.3.System will confirm the input data if user do not press “+” or “-“ button after 5 seconds.
1.4.But once the data had been confirmed, it is not allowed to amend the data again until you switch
off the full machine power. So, please set every data carefully.
1.5.Mashing step quantity (max is 6 steps) can be set under customer beer recipe. If 6 steps is not
enough for use, please divide the program to mashing, and boiling for another program.
1.5.1 Heat up the water to 70℃, cause water temperature will drop once the grain been filled. The
first boiling water temperature is decided by environment temperature, grain quantity. (First step)
1.5.2 Set the temperature to 62℃-68℃. This step is for getting little sugar. (Second step)
1.5.3 The third step is for heavy sugar temperature setting, it is normally from 68℃to 75℃.
1.5.4 All above temperature are only for reference. After getting enough sugar, the basket can be
lifted up, and user need to do sparging step for getting more wort from the grain. Before you do
the sparging process, please press the "Pause" button in case of the program directly enter in
step 4th. Tips: Sparging water temperature is about 72℃.
1.5.5 The fourth step is for fierce boiling for 30mins. The stronger power you set, the boiling will
be more intense.
1.5.6 The fifth step is for weak boiling, the lower power you set, the boiling will be more gently, but
if the power is too low, the wort can not be reached to boiling temperature due to the heat waste.
1.5.7 All above temperature, time, power data are only recommendation.

1.7.This device will carry out the input program automatically step by step.
1.8.To turn off or reset the program, press "Stop" button.
1.9.The mainly purpose of "PAUSE" button is for customer lifting up the grain basket to do sparging
process and adding the hops. The element, timer, all device will start working until you press the

1. First set up the pump connection pipe.
2. Before switch on the pump, make sure the device had been filled with water.
3. Dry running the pump is forbidden, it will damage the pump if working without water go through.
4. Circulation is not necessary in boiling process. Please do not switch on the pump while the device
carry on boiling.
5. If the pump stop working, it may be blocked by residue. Please switch off the machine and un-
plug it. Make sure there is no liquid in the device, and machine had been cool down, then open
the underneath plastic cover. Take the pump out, un-screw it and remove the residue.
6. The pump should be cleaned after used immediately incase of the wort stay inside of it and get
dry.
7. Use luke-warm water to go through it for 5-10mins after each brewing until you make sure inside
is cleaned.
Maintain The Device
1. Cleaning
The device must be cleaned immediately after the brewing process. Avoid surface drying of wort and
malt remnants, as this will significantly impair the cleaning process. All stainless steel components
can be cleaned using a conventional detergent. Abrasive agents and sponges/brushes that cause
scratching are not suitable. Ideally use a pipe cleaner thread to clean the bottom element part. When
cleaning the brewing vessel ensure that no water spray or moisture comes into contact with the
electrical components. The Plug must be protected for performing cleaning activities. Before starting
the brewing process, remove all dust and dirt from the device and all internal fitting by means of
warm water. Also rinse the pump and lines by means of transfer pumping. Caution: Never run the
pump without water. The valve also need to be cleaned, all the components like water pipe, cover
and false bottom had to be cleaned, as these could have a negative impact on the foam stability of
the beer if with dirt on.
2. Storing
The device must be sorted in dry location. Avoid contact with ferrous or rusty objects.
