Instruction Insert
1. Use the tip of a flat screwdriver,paperclip
or other thin blunt instrument to pry the
webbing up over the retaining tab.
Alternately it may be possible to use your
finger nail to push down on tab and release
it from webbing.
To remove liners for cleaning first take out all blades and place in a secure location.
2. Gently start pulling the liner out of the
sheath. When the webbing passes the
retaining tab remove the screwdriver and
slide the liner free from the sheath.
• Liners can then be cleaned and sterilized
in the top rack of a dishwasher.
• Fabric sheath can be washed with com-
mercially available scent elimination laun-
dry detergent once liners are removed.
Repeat these steps to remove other liner.

The PakLite® FieldMaster kit’s sheath
provides many conveniences. Your
three favorite PakLite® knives can be
carried in one lightweight bundle, and
the sheath has removable liners for san-
itizing. Once the liners are removed,
they can be put in the dishwasher (top
rack) and the sheath itself can go in the
washing machine. Belt straps secure
the sheath to you or your pack and the
sheath has two zipper compartments for
extra storage.

1. Insert your knife to make an incision where you’d like to start.
2. Hold your guthook ring as shown in Figure 1 (you can either pull up
or down). Insert the guthook ring into the incision and gently pull to cut
through the hide.

Pour retirer les protections intérieures,
enlevez d’abord toutes les lames et
placez-les dans un endroit sûr.
1. À l’aide de l’extrémité d’un tournevis
plat, d’un trombone ou d’un autre instru-
ment mince et contondant, soulevez
la sangle par dessus la languette de
retenue. Ou encore, il peut être possible

2. Commencez à tirer doucement la
protection intérieure hors de l’étui.
Lorsque la sangle est dégagée de la
languette de retenue, retirez le tournevis
et faites glisser la protection intérieure
hors de l’étui.
3. Répétez ces étapes pour retirer l’autre
protection intérieure.
• Les protections intérieures peuvent
alors être nettoyées et stérilisées dans
le panier supérieur du lave-vaisselle.
• L’étui en tissu peut être lavé avec un
détergent désodorisant après en avoir
retiré les protections intérieures.

L’étui pour trousse PakLite® FieldMas-
ter offre de nombreuses caractéristiques

protections intérieures amovibles permet-

Protections

1. Pour procéder au réassemblage, faites glisser la protection intérieure dans

2. Poussez la sangle au-delà de la partie arquée de la languette de retenue pour
vous assurer que la protection intérieure ne se détache pas de l’étui par inadver-
tance.
