CLEANING &
MAINTENANCE TIPS
IMPORTANT: Always check the fabric label before washing.
All fabrics for portacot, bassinet inlay and mattress are machine washable at 30º C/ 86 F .
Before washing:
• Make sure all closures are fastened.
• Remove board and foam from mattress.
• Remove bassinet stiener from bassinet.
Lay fabrics at to dry in the shade.
Keep the mattress and product clean at all times during use.

MANUFACTURER’S
WARRANTY
(For Australia only)
(For Australia only) Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian
Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation
for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods
repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to
a major failure. You should ask the retailer about these.
As the manufacturer, Bugaboo International BV, which has its principal place of business in
Amsterdam (“Bugaboo”), supplies the Bugaboo product under warranty, subject to the following
conditions:
1. The manufacturer’s warranty period is 24 months, from the date of purchase as indicated
on the sales receipt. The remaining warranty period for the original product will apply for a
replacement part or product or a repaired product.
2. The manufacturer’s warranty applies only in the region (USA and Canada or Europe or Russia
or Australia and New Zealand or Asia) in which the product was purchased. Bugaboo warrants
that the product will be in compliance only with the statutory provisions and/or government
regulations that apply in the region in which the product was sold. Bugaboo reserves the right
to apply a dierent warranty for other regions.
3. The manufacturer’s warranty provides a right to repair unless Bugaboo is of the opinion that
replacement or return of the product is necessary. Bugaboo will bear the expense and risk of
transport from and to the retailer (“the retailer”) where you purchased the product, if the repair
is covered by manufacturer’s warranty.
4. To claim under The manufacturer’s warranty you must provide Bugaboo with the following:
• a copy of the dated purchase receipt,
• a clear description of the complaint and
• the defective product and/or photographs of the defective part or product.
5. The manufacturer’s warranty is not transferable and may therefore only be invoked by the
rst owner.
6. The manufacturer’s warranty does not aect any statutory rights you may have, for example
the right to hold the retailer accountable for defects.
WHAT IS COVERED BY THE MANUFACTURER’S WARRANTY?
The manufacturer’s warranty applies in respect of the product and covers the following:
• all manufacturing defects in the frame;
• zippers;
• seams in the covering;
• self-adhesive straps; and
• colour fastness.

THEMANUFACTURER’S WARRANTYWILLBEVOIDINTHEFOLLOWINGCIRCUMSTANCES:
• If you have made or arranged for modications or repairs to be made without rst having
received written permission from Bugaboo or the retailer.
• Defects resulting from neglect or an accident and/or from any use or maintenance other than
that indicated in the user guide.
• If the serial number has been damaged or removed.
• Damage to the product caused by normal wear and tear.
• Incorrect mounting or installation of third-party parts that are incompatible with the product.
• Inadvertent or unintentional damage, abnormal use or insucient care.
• Improper storage / product care.
• Deformation of the fabric or mesh due to normal daily use of the product.
• Damage due to improper use or due to failure to follow user guide.
• Damage due to repairs carried out by unauthorized persons or due to improper disassembly
of the product.
• Transport damage (during air transport or other modes of transport): carefully inspect your
product after it was shipped by the airline (or other carrier) and in case of any damage
immediately le a claim with the carrier.
• Customer dissatisfaction with the product in terms of t, weight, functionality, colour or design.
IMPORTANT
The manufacturer’s warranty period for this product is 24 months from the purchase date indicated
on the sales receipt. Save the sales receipt in a safe place and make a copy of it. It is even easier
if you register your product at bugaboo.com and/or by using the warranty card enclosed. If you
submit a claim under The manufacturer’s warranty you must rst contact your retailer. If your retailer
is unable to repair the defect or if Bugaboo was your retailer you can contact Bugaboo by sending
Limited, Service Department Suite 2, Level 2 156 Edgecli Road Woollahra NSW 2025 Australia.
For complaints that arise outside The manufacturer’s warranty period you must also contact the
retailer or you can contact one of our service centres. You can nd an up-to-date list of service
centres at bugaboo.com. Bugaboo reserves the right to stop manufacturing a particular model,
colour, fabric or accessory, in this case Bugaboo will replace a part with a similar part, colour
or fabric during the manufacturer’s warranty period. Bugaboo reserves the right to amend these
warranty provisions. You can nd the most up-to-date warranty provisions on our website: www.
bugaboo.com.

WARNINGS
AND OTHER USAGE INFORMATION
1. Follow the assembly of the folding portacot in the order shown in this user
guide.
2. If your child can get out of the portacot by himself/herself or his/her stature
reaches 89cm, stop using the product.
3. Do not use the folding portacot near naked heat sources, bar heaters, open
res or exposed ames.
4. Do not leave anything in the folding portacot (such as toys) that can provide
a foothold.
5. WARNING: When your child begins to stand with hands or kneels, entwining
or strangling may happen if you do not take toys away.
6. Use only the mattress supplied by the manufacturer. Do not add an extra
mattress as this may cause suocation. Never add pillows, blankets, stued
animals or padding.

WARNING - MATTRESS SIZE:
This cot is made to use a mattress which is 51 cm wide 91 cm long and no
more than 3.5 cm thick.
Using the wrong size mattress may create hazardous gaps that could
result in suocation or could reduce the side height of the cot which may
result in your child falling out from the cot.
7. The thickness of the mattress has been specied to ensure that the distance
from the top of the mattress to the top of the lowest side or end will always
be at least 51 cm. This will reduce the risk of children falling out of the cot.
8. Do not use the folding portacot near naked heat sources, bar heaters, open
res or exposed ames.
9. WARNING: Ensure that the portacot is fully erected and all the locking
mechanisms engaged before placing your child in this portacot.
10. All the components should be fastened appropriately.
11. WARNING: Entrapment hazard - Velcro and zippers must be secured
properly per user instructions.
12. The bassinet should be removed before the child can sit up.
13. Never place a child in the portacot when the bassinet is in place.
14. Keep children away while assembling/disassembling the portacot.
15. Keep the folding portacot clear of trailing cables and hanging cords.
16. Keep medication and small items that a child could choke on, away from
the portacot.
17. WARNING: A) TO PREVENT FALLS, THE BASSINET MUST NOT BE USED
ONCE A CHILD CAN SIT UP. (B) NEVER PLACE A CHILD IN THE COT
WHEN THE BASSINET IS IN PLACE.
18. Do not use accessories which are not approved by the manufacturer.
19. WARNING: Bassinet inlay is not a playpen. Do not let child play in the
bassinet inlay.
20. The product is suitable for children from 0-2 years of age, until the child reaches
89 cm/35 in or 15 kg/33 lb, whichever comes rst.
21. The bassinet inlay for the cot is suitable from birth until 9 kg/20 lb, or when
the child begins to push up on hands and knees, whichever comes rst.
22. Folding cots with padded rims should not be used if the covering material
has been bitten through.
23. This portacot can be used with the Bugaboo Stardust Cotton Sheet
(950000CW01).
