Important - Please read these instructions fully before
installing or operating
Power source
• For household and indoor use only
• Never use an adaptor supplied with any other appliance.
Only use the adaptor that came with the product. Using an unauthorised adaptor will
invalidate your guarantee and may irrecoverably damage the product.
• Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children less than 8 years.
• Do not allow children to use the appliance without supervision.
• This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with
reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they
have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way
and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning
and user maintenance shall not be made by children unless they are aged from 8 years and
above and supervised.
• Fully unwind the cable before plugging in and ensure the cable is positioned away from
areas where it is likely to get damaged or cause a trip hazard.
• The output cord of this mains adaptor cannot be replaced. In the event of damage to the
cable, jack plug or adaptor, the entire adaptor unit should be replaced.
• Connections must only be made via the mains adaptor supplied, never connect the
appliance directly to the 240v mains supply.
• Remove mains adaptor from supply if appliance is unused for a long period of time, and
during thunderstorms.
• Do not pull on the cable to disconnect from mains supply.
• Switch off and unplug when not in use and before cleaning or servicing the appliance.
Servicing of this appliance must only be carried out by a qualified electrician.
• Always ensure the mains adaptor plug is readily unpluggable – do not use with ‘lockable’
sockets or permanently wire to mains.

Ventilation, heat and moisture
• Keep appliance, cable, mains adaptor plug dry and away from areas where it is likely to get
splashed. Avoid using in hot, humid environments.
• Place the appliance on a flat, stable surface with adequate ventilation and away from other
sources of heat. Do not install this product in a confined space. Minimum distances around
the appliance for adequate ventilation is 10cm. Do not cover or restrict slots, holes or
ventilation openings.
• Do not place items with naked flames or containers with liquids on or near this appliance.
• The mains adaptor will become warm in use; do not cover or place on or near surfaces
that could be affected by heat such as table tops and carpets.
• Do not leave this appliance in high temperatures as electronic devices and plastic parts
may warp in heat.
• Keep appliance away from bright sunlight or heat sources, such as a radiator.

Battery safety - Remote control
WARNING
DO NOT INGEST BATTERY. CHEMICAL BURN HAZARD.
The remote control supplied with this product contains 2pcs AAA batteries. Batteries are
dangerous - if swallowed they can cause severe internal burns in just 2 hours and can lead
to death. If you think batteries might have been swallowed or placed inside any part of the
body, seek immediate medical attention.
• Batteries should be installed by an adult. Keep new and used batteries away from children.
• If the battery compartment does not close securely, stop using the remote and keep it
away from children.
• CAUTION – Danger of explosion if battery is incorrectly fitted/replaced.
• Only use 2pcs AAA batteries in this remote control.
• Be sure to insert correctly taking care to observe the correct polarity (+ and -).
• Use only batteries of the same or equivalent type as recommended.
• Do not recharge non-rechargeable batteries.
• Never try to dismantle batteries.
• Do not short-circuit the supply terminals.
• Always remove exhausted or dead batteries from the product.
• Remove batteries from the product before extended storage.
• Dispose of used batteries responsibly at local authority household waste recycling facility.
• DO NOT dispose of batteries in a fire as the batteries may explode.

Care and maintenance
• All care and cleaning operations should be carried out with the appliance
unplugged from the mains power.
• Wipe the cabinet with a soft lint free cloth. If the casing is very dirty, unplug from the
mains and dampen the cloth with a weak solution of washing up liquid and water
and wipe clean. Allow it to dry thoroughly before using.

1. POWER
Normal play/Standby mode switch.
2.0-9 NUMBER BUTTON
Selects numbered items in a menu.
3.10+ BUTTON
In order to select a track 10 or greater, first press 10+, For example; select track 12, first
press 10+, and then press number 2 button.

4.SETUP
Press to enter/exit the Setup menu.
5.ENTER
Confirms menu selection.
6. MENU
Return to DVD root menu(DVD).
7.SEARCH
Go to time point, title or chapter you want in DVD Mode.
8. BUTTON
Press BUTTON allow skipping back at 5-level speed
(X2->X4->X8->X20->PLAY) , press PLAY button return to normal playback.
9.STOP
When this button is pressed once, the unit records the stopped
point,from where playback will resume if PLAY( )is pressed after
wards. But if STOP button is pressd again instead of PLAY( )
button, there will be no resume function.
10. BUTTON
Press BUTTON allow skipping ahead at 5-level speed
(X2->X4->X8->X20->PLAY), press PLAY button return to
normal playback.
11.TITLE
Return to DVD title menu.
12.RETURN
Return to root menu from normal play, and then return to normal play from root menu.
13.ANGLE
DVD: Press ANGLE will change the view angle, on DVDs that support this feature.

14.ZOOM
DVD/VCD: Use ZOOM to enlarge or shrink the video image.
1.Press ZOOM during playback or still playback to activate the
Zoom function. The square frame appears briefly in the right bottom of the picture.
2. Each press of the ZOOM button changes the TV screen in the
following sequence:
2 x size→3 x size→4 x size→1/2 x size→1/3 x size→1/4 x size→normal size
JPEG: Use ZOOM to enlarge or shrink the picture.
1.Press 'ZOOM' .
2,2 x size→3 x size→4 x size→1/2 x size→1/3 x size→1/4 x size→normal size
Use the button to move through the zoomed picture.

OPEN/CLOSE.
16.SUBTITLE
Press SUBTITLE repeatedly during playback to select different subtitle languages.
17.LANGUAGE
Press LANGUAGE key to change the OSD language.
18.OSD
To display the playtime and status information.
19.CLEAR
Clear the input number in SEARCH or PROGRAM state.
20.PROGRAM
DVD/VCD: The program function enables you to store your favourite tracks from the disc.
Press PROGRAM button, then PROGRAM MENU will appear on screen. Now you can use
the number keys to directly input title, chapter or track numbers and select PLAY option. To
resume normal playback, press PROGRAM and select clear program option on the program
menu, Press PROGRAM again to exit program menu.

21. SOURCE
Switch between DVD/USB.
22. MUTE
Disable Audio output.
23.REPEAT
Repeat - During a movie, press repeatedly to
switch to different repeat options
24. Reverse Skip
Go to previous chapter/ track.
25.PLAY/PAUSE
Press PLAY/PAUSE once to pause playback, pressing
PLAY/PAUSE second time will resume the playback.
26. Forward Skip
Go to next chapter/track.
27.VOL+/-
Adjust volume
28.SLOW
Press Slow button repeatedly to enter slow playback, and cycle
between different speeds. The speeds are 1/2,1/3,1/4,1/5,1/6,1/7,
and normal.
29.A-B
Set A-B. During a movie (if available), press to define the start point, press again to define the
end point; the selected section will play repeatedly and continuously. Press again to cancel.
30.STEP
Step the motion in DVD mode.
31.AUDIO
DVD:Press AUDIO repeatedly during playback to hear a different
audio language or audio track, if avilable.
CD/VCD:Press AUDIO repeatedly during playback to hear a
different audio channel ( Left, Right, Mix, Stereo).

HDMI cable connection to the TV
HDMI cable (not supplied)
An HDMI cable connection carries uncompressed high speed video, audio and other
digital information in 100% digital form. It enables transmission of crystal-clear digital
video, multi-channel surround audio, and advanced control data through a single cable.
Connecting your DVD player to a TV with an HDMI cable:
Note: Do not connect multiple cables at the same time as this will cause picture quality
loss.
SCART cable connection to the TV
SCART cable (not supplied)
A scart cable connection will carry both video and audio and will provide you with good
picture quality, widescreen switching and stereo audio.
Connecting your DVD player to a TV with a SCART cable:
RCA cable connection to the TV
Using the RCA cable (supplied), the red and white plugs should be connected to the audio
left and right channels. The yellow plug should only be connected to the video CVBS
socket.
Note: When using this type of RCA plug and socket connection, they are always colour
coded e.g. red plug to red socket etc.

Installing the remote batteries
1. Press down the tab on the remote control battery
door, in the direction of the arrow, to remove it.
2. Insert the 2 x AAA batteries supplied, taking care
to the + and - markings and position the batteries
the correct way around.
3. Replace the battery cover, making sure that it
‘clicks’ shut.
The remote signal may not be received if there is an obstacle between the remote
control and the remote sensor on your DVD Player.
Note: Direct sunlight or other bright light sources shining on the remote sensor may
affect the performance of the remote control.
Connecting the mains power
1. Connect the mains power lead into the socket on the back of
the DVD Player.
2. Plug the power adapter into the mains power wall socket
and switch on.
Note: Do not connect the mains power until ALL other
connections have been made.
3. The Red LED on the front right of your DVD Player will turn
on and your DVD Player will now be in Standby mode.

Standby mode
Note: This DVD Player has been designed to go to Standby mode automatically after
approximately 20 minutes of inactivity. Please press the Power button on the
product or the Power button on the remote control, to turn the DVD Player back on
again.
1. Press the Power button on the DVD Player or the Power button on the remote
control to Power on the product. The LED on the front right of your DVD Player will
change to green.
2. Press the Power button on the DVD Player or the Power button on the remote
control to go to Standby mode. The LED on the front right of your DVD Player will
change to red.
