SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
Caution!
The exclamation point within an equilateral triangle is
intended to alert the user to the presence of important
operating and maintenance (servicing) instructions in the
literature accompanying the product.
- prevent re or electric shock hazard, do not expose this product
to rain or moisture;
- do not overload wall outlets. Overloaded wall outlets, loose or
damaged wall outlets, extension cords, frayed power cords, or
damaged or cracked wire insulation are dangerous. Any of these
conditions can cause electric shock or re;
- examine the AC adaptor of your appliance periodically, and if its
appearance indicates damage or deterioration, unplug it, discon-
tinue using of the appliance, and have the cord replaced with an
exact replacement part by an authorized service center;
- protect the AC adaptor and power cord from physical or me-
chanical abuse, such as being twisted, kinked, pinched, closed
in a door, or walked upon. Pay particular attention to plugs, wall
outlets, and the point where the cord exits the appliance. To dis-
connect power from the mains, pull out the mains cord plug. Dur-
ing installing the product, ensure that the plug is easily accessible;
- do not install this equipment in a conned space such as a book
case or similar unit, near stoves, replaces, heaters, radiators;
- after removing the battery from the unit, put it in a safe place
where it will not get into the hands of small children and acciden-
tally swallowed;
-never charge batteries, try to take batteries apart, or allow batter-
ies to become shorted. Never expose batteries to direct heat or
dispose them by incineration;

always make sure that the battery’s positive and negative ends
are facing correctly when you load it into the unit; use only the type
of battery specied for this unit in this manual;

- even if the unit is operating normally, replace the battery at least
once every two years. A dead battery can leak causing damage to
and malfunction of the unit;
