Connecting the telephone line
Switchboard use
WARNING
If this telephone is not being used on a switchboard,
the Message On/Off switch (located under the
memory card) must be in the off position.
Getting your CWB I 00 ready for use

You can now make and receivetelephone callsand store
numbers in the me~~
(Recall Mode)
The Earth Recall (ER)/Timed Break Recall (TBR) switch,
located under the memory card, is s.etto TBR. It should
remain in this position unless connected to a switchboard
requiring Earth Recall signalling. Please refer to your
switchboard prOvi~r if you require more information.
If you are using a compatible switchboard, the message
indicator light will show if you have messages waiting.To
use the message waiting facility you may need to movethe
Message On/Off switch (located under the memory
card) to the 'On' position. Consult your switchboard provider
for more information.


To store two-touch memory numbers

Using the phone Helpline I
Youcan store up to 13telephone numbers in the memory.
Up to 3 numbers can be stored usingthe one-touch
memory buttons M I, M2 and M3, An additional 10numbers
can be stored usingthe two-touch memories.

Pause
For services such as home banking and when connected to
certain switchboards you may need to insert a pause intothe
dialling sequence when storing in the memory.
Latching privacy
To store a pausein the memo~ pressthe Pausebutton
Where required. Press the Privacy button, the privacy light comes on.
While the privacy light ison, your caller is unable to hear
what you are saying.
To remove privacy: press the Privacy button again.

hearing aid
YourCWB I00 istitted with adeviceto improve the sound
quality for people usinghearingaids. Ifyou wear a hearing

Positionthe switch an the back of your telephone marked
RI/R2/R3 to the required tone. Recall

your telephone network and for usewhen connected to
.certain switchboards. Details on when to usethe R button
will be explained byyour network or swrtchboard provider:
Ringer volume
Move the switch on the back of the telephone to adjustthe
ringer to the required volume: Oft; Low,High.

Using the phone
During a call you can mute your voice so your caller cannot
hear you while you hold a conversation with someone else
in the room. You can still hear your caller:
(For use with switchboards)
If your switchboard has a voicemail facility and your
extension has been allocated a voice mailbox, the
message indicator light will come on when you have
messages waiting.
Your CWB I00 lets .you choose between 3 different
ringingtones.
