Theupholsteryselectioninvolvesthecomplete
interiordecorofthecarand,ifnotharmonizedwith
theexteriorcolor,becomesuncomplimentaryto
theautomobile.
MostcustomersrespectandadheretotheCadillac
colorandupholsteryrecommendationsastheyare
baseduponprofessionalstandardsofestheticprin-
ciplesandexperience.Theyarea partofCadillac
qualitystandards.
OtherCombinations
Althoughtherecommendedcombinationsarethe
mostharmoniousandwillappealtothemajority,
almostanycombinationofcolorsmayberegarded
ascompatiblebysomecustomersandtheymay
ordersuchchoices.
Acceptableoptionsinthisfringearea,however,are
unlistedsincetheywouldnotonlycomplicatethe
tablesbutmakethemlesseffectiveintheselection
ofpreferredcombinations.
Whena customerselectsa combinationnotamong
thoserecommended,eventhoughapprisedofthe
riskofpotentialdisappointment,theordershould
bemarked"colortrimsure."Thiswillconfirmthe
accuracyofthecolorsasorderedandpreventpro-
ductionofanundesirablecolorschemenotwanted
bythecustomerordealer.

ofwhich19areexclusivetoCadillac.
Thisincludesfive Firemistcolors,optionalatextra
chargeonallbodystyles.
"Fire-Frost"Colors
Thehighlustrebeautyandradianceof"Fire-Frost"
colorsareavailableonspecialorder(SeeSpecial
OrderandPricesections).Lightreflectionsfrom
manyfacetedbrightmetallicflakes producethe
unusualdepthandbrillianceof"Fire-Frost."The
additionalcost,aboutthreetimesthatofregular
paint,willbeunderstoodbytheselectgroupof
buyerstowhomthedistinctionandexclusivenessof
theseoutstandingcolorswillappeal.
Two-ToneNotAvailable
Since1967bodystylingdoesnotprovidea designed
separationpointforcolorsbetweenupperandlower
panels,two-tonepainttreatmentisnotavailable.
Atwo-toneappearanceisobtainableinselectionof
thePaddedRoofcoloroncertainbodystyles.

amountofacetatethroughwhichtheeyeseesthe

temperatureofthecartothedegreeselectedbythedriver.Without
furtheradjustment,heatedorcooledairissuppliedautomaticallyto
maintaintheselectedtemperature,yeararound,whetherthecarisdriven
indesertheatorthecoldofmountainaltitudes.Whenoutsideairisabove
approximately35°,incomingairisfirst cooledtocontrolhumidity,then
reheatedthusassuringmaximumcomfortandminimizingwindowfogging.
Controlleverprovidesthefollowingpositions:OFF,VENT,forventilation
withoutsideairnotundertemperaturecontrol,AUTO,Lofornormal
