
5. With the clasp now engaged, (1) release the handle
and carefully, in a downward motion (2), remove the
instrument away from the ear.
6. By depressing the
safety catch button
you now release the
piercing pin from the
cartridge. You can now
remove the cartridge
from the instrument.
4. Position the instrument to the mark
placed on the ear and continue gently
squeezing the handle until the point of the
stud is aligned to the mark on the ear.
2. Gently squeeze handle until you see the metal pin
in cartridge and safety catch clicks into engaged position.
1. Peel off the backing paper and remove the
cartridge from the blister. Place the covered
cartridge into the cartridge channel on the
instrument and ensure it locks firmly into position.
3. Now remove the
plastic cover from
the cartridge lifting
directly upwards 4 B. When alignment is assured continue
squeezing the handle firmly to pierce the ear.
When the handle is released,
the stud holder will spread
apart, releasing the stud.

Dispose of cartridge and clear cover after piercing!
