tor ring, plac it on top of your bas making sur it is
c nt r d prior to placing your top onto th bas .

12. Plac your trim ring in plac into th top.
13. R conn ct your burn r to th conn cting hos and s t
it into th trim ring. Fir Pits without a sp cial top may
not com with th trim ring. B sur to ch ck that th
fitting is s cur and t st appropriat ly (S st p #6).
14. Put your m dia, R fl ctions Glass or Gas Logs, into th
burn r. Wh n using R fl ctions Glass, b sur to plac
all of th R fl ctions Glass shipp d with your Fir Pit
into th burn r.
15. R mov th door on your Fir Pit:
a. If you ar using a 20LB LP tank, conn ct th LP
tank to th burn r hos with th gas r gulator.
b. Plac th LP tank into th bas . B sur that th
LP tank is turn d to th “Off” position. If your unit
com s with th D ck Guard plac th LP tank onto
it to minimiz th opportunity for damaging th d ck
or ground b n ath your Fir Pit.
c. If you hav a natural gas sourc you will n d to
chang th brass orific from Propan to Natural gas.
Th propan orific should b pr install d in th
burn r, if not you can id ntify th propan orific
which has an adjustm nt nut on it. Th natural gas
orific do s not hav th adjustm nt nut.
16. R plac th door on th sid of your Fir Pit bas .
17. Wh n lighting your Fir Pit:
a. B sur that th control on th sid of your Fir Pit
bas is turn d to th “Off” position.
b. R mov th door on th sid of your Fir Pit and turn
th valv on th top of th LP tank to th “On” position.
This st p is not r quir d for Natural Gas.
c. R plac th door on th sid of your Fir Pit bas .
d. Using a long match or “Log Light r” to ignit your
Fir Pit
i. Hold th long match or Log Light r ov r th burn r
ii. Slowly turn th knob to th on position

debris and water before using.

• Plac your LP tank on th m tal platform locat d
abov th wat r r s rvoir at th bottom of th La
Paz and attach th LP hos with r gulator.
• Your La Paz fir pit is match-lit and r quir s th us
of a long handl light r.
• Load your burn r with th suppli d m dia (glass or
gas logs) b for lighting.
• Light th long handl light r and hold ov r th fir pit.
• Turn th gas on slowly to allow for a small fir upon
ignition. Aft r ignition r mov th long handl
light r and adjust th flam to th d sir d h ight.
•Excessive gas should not be used for lighting!!!!!!

La Paz.
• Plac your pump into th wat r r s rvoir which for

to allow th l ctric cord to b laid into it and th
door to b locat d in a s cur fit.
• Fill th bas with wat r approximat ly 4 – 5 inch s of
wat r. Enough to cov r th pump, but not so much
for it to pour out of th front r turn cr vic .
• B for plugging th pump into th l ctric outl t, b
sur to w t down th ntir fac of th La Paz to
minimiz th opportunity for wat r
to spill onto th floor surfac .
• Th wat r pump suppli d with
your La Jolla allows you to adjust
th wat r flow, if n c ssary.
• Plac th door in plac and njoy
your La Paz.
