BEFORE FIRST USE
•Place on level surface near a suitable 2-prong polarized outlet.
•Remove packing materials.
•Wipe waf fle plates with a watered down mild detergent or soap.
•Turn waffle maker on by plugging power cord into outlet.
BEGIN COOKING
• Turn knob to choose the shade of browning.
Light – waffles are cooked throughout, but exterior browning
is minimal
Medium – waffles are golden brown
Dark – waffles are a deep golden brown and the exterior is crispy
• Preheat waffle maker.
• Once preheated, the No Peek™ Ready light illuminates.
• Open the waffle maker and pour waffle batter (approximately ½ cup)
evenly over the bottom plate. Close the waffle maker.
• The No Peek™Ready light will re-illuminate when the waffles
are ready. Open the waf fle maker and remove the waf fles with
a nonstick safe utensil.
TURNING OFF
To turn off the waffle maker, grasp the plug securely and remove it from the outlet. Allow
waffle maker to cool completely before cleaning.
TIPS FOR SUCCESSFUL OPERATION
• Use approximately 1/2 cup of batter for making a waffle.
• Preheating the waffle maker completely (as indicated by the illuminated No Peek™
Ready light) helps prevent waffles from sticking to the plates.
• The level of browning will vary depending on the type of batter used. Batters with
higher sugar content will result in darker waffles, while lower sugar content batter will
result in lighter waffles.
• Nonstick cooking sprays are not recommended for this waffle maker.
Spraying the waf fle plates with nonstick cooking spray may build up a residue on the
hot plates.
