• Before installing this TV set, make sure your outlet voltage corresponds to the
voltage stated on the appliance rating label of the power adaptor being used..

DVD slot, as they could touch the current-carrying parts or short-circuit parts,

• Do not touch the screen with fingers, as this may scratch or smudge the TV screen.
• Do not expose the batteries to excessive heat such as sunshine, fire or the like.
• Unplug the TV set in all of the following circumstances:

Position
• If a television is not positioned in a sufficiently stable location, when stand
mounted, it can potentially be hazardous if it falls. Many injuries, particularly to
children, can be avoided by taking simple precautions such as:

TV Controls
Controls on the TV
1. After you load a disc, press to play the disc, and press twice to pause.
2. Press the button when the power is on the disc will eject, Press the button again to load the
disc automatically.
3. VOL(+) - This button increases the TV’s volume. If the OSD menu is active, pressing this button will
move the selection to the right.
4. VOL(-) - This button decreases the TV’s volume. If the On Screen Display(OSD) menu is active,
pressing this button will move the selection to the left.
5. CH(+) - This button performs the channel up function. If the OSD menu is active, this button functions
as up control for the menu.
6. CH(-) - This button performs the channel down function. If the OSD menu is active, this button
functions as down control for the menu.
7. MENU - This button activates the OSD menu. If a sub-menu is active, pressing this button will return
the selection to the previous menu level.
8. SOURCE - This button switches between all the different sources of the TV. When the OSD is active,
this button acts as the enter button and confirms the menu selection.
9. POWER - Turn on the TV by pressing the button once. Press the button again to turn off the TV.

Antenna input impedance of this unit is 75ohm. VHF/UHF 75ohm coaxial cable can be
connected to the antenna jack directly.

to watch,

Picture Menu
Auto Tuning
Press the ▼/▲ buttons to select Auto Tuning. After pressing the OK button, the auto tuning
interface will be displayed. Auto Tuning can also be activated by pressing the “QT” button
on the remote control while in DTV mode.
NOTE: If power has been disconnected from the TV, you may be required to select
“Australia” from the list of countries first before starting the Auto tune process.
DVB-T Manual Tuning
Press ▼/▲ buttons to select Manual Tuning and press OK button to show manual tuning list.
Using the ▼/▲ buttons, you can select the channel number or you can also use the number
keys to select a channel number, and then press OK button to start searching for the channel.
Programme Edit
Press ▼/▲ buttons to select Programme Edit, and then press the OK button to enter the
editing interface. By using the ▼/▲ buttons, you can select the channel number and start
editing according to the relevant selection.
LCN Sorting
Select LCN Sorting with▼/▲ buttons, and then press OK button. If LCN sorting is turned on,
DTV channels will be sorted by their Logical Sorting Number.
Software Update(USB)
Use this selection if a software update becomes available to update the TV’s operation.
Picture Mode
Press ▼/▲ buttons to select Picture mode, and go into next interface by pressing the OK
button. Then you can change picture mode to standard/mild/dynamic/personal
using the ▼/▲ buttons. Note that you can only adjust the Contrast, Brightness, Colour,
Sharpness & Tint settings when Personal is selected.
Colour Temp
Press ▼/▲ to select the Colour Temp menu item, and then the OK button to take you to next
menu where you can change Colour Temperature. Modes available are standard, warm,
cool and personal. You can alter colour temperature with the ▼/▲ buttons.
Noise Reduction
Press ▼/▲ to select the Noise Reduction menu option, and then the OK button to take you to
next menu. Then press the ▼/▲ buttons to select off/low/middle/high.
Other menu items
In the picture menu, other menu items can be adjusted in the same way. First, press ▼/▲ to
select the menu item. After pressing the OK button, you are able to change the setting with
the ▼/▲ buttons.

Sound Mode
Press the ▼/▲ buttons to select Sound Mode. Then press the OK button to select from a list
of sound modes. The sound mode can be switched between standard/music/movie/sports/
personal using ◄ / ► buttons.
EQ Settings
Equaliser (bass & treble) settings can only adjusted when the Sound Mode selection (above)
is set to “Personal”. Once this is set, Press ▼/▲ buttons to select the frequency you would
like to adjust:
120Hz Bass
500Hz Midbass
5KHz Midrange
10KHz Treble
Then use buttons to increase or decrease the setting.◄ / ►
Auto Volume (AVL)
This function when turned on will help even out the volume level between different A/V
sources so one is not greatly louder than another. It can also help reduce the volume of loud
TV ads compared to TV shows. The result depends greatly on the A/V source so this function
is set default to off. To turn AVL on, press ▼/▲ buttons to select Auto Volume and then press
OK. Press buttons to turn AVL on/off.◄ / ►
Surround Sound
Press ▼/▲ to select Surround Sound and then press OK button to go into the Sub menu.
With the◄ / ► buttons, surround sound can be switched between SRS TS XT/surround/ off
depending on the program source.
Other Menu Items
The rest of menu item can be altered by the same way. Press▼/▲ button to select the above
menu items and go into next interface with OK button. Then, press ◄ / ► buttons to adjust.
Clock
The clock and date is automatically programmed from information received from Digital TV
Channels. You should not need to use this sub-menu.
Off Time
Select Off Time with ▼/▲ buttons and press the OK button to enter the sub menu. In this
menu, you can select a specific time to turn the TV off.
On Time
Select On Time with ▼/▲ buttons and press the OK button to enter the sub menu. You can
first set the date of on time. Then the hour, minute, channel and volume can be altered to a
specific time.
Sleep Timer
Select Sleep Timer with ▼/▲ buttons and press the OK button. Then with buttons, the ◄ / ►
sleep timer can be set to OFF/10/20/30/60/90/120/180/240 minutes.
Auto sleep
Select Auto sleep with ▼/▲ button and press OK button. Then with buttons, select ◄ / ►
3,4 or 5 hours. The TV will turn off if there is no activity for this period of time.

OSD Language
Press the ▼/▲ buttons to select OSD Language sub menu and select language with▼/▲
or buttons. Press the OK button to confirm then the menu button to return to the ◄ / ►
previous menu.
Audio Languages
Press ▼/▲ to select Audio Language and select language with▼/▲ or buttons. ◄ / ►
Press the OK button to confirm then the menu button to return to the previous menu.
Subtitle Languages
Press ▼/▲ to select Subtitle Language and select language with▼/▲ or buttons. ◄ / ►
Press the OK button to confirm then the menu button to return to the previous menu.
Hearing Impaired
Select Hearing Impaired (where supported) with ▼/▲ buttons and then press the OK button.
PVR File System
To check the status of the USB drive, format a drive or change the maximum record/time
shift setting, select PVR File System with ▼/▲ buttons and then press the OK button enter。
Reset
To return the TV to the Factory Default settings, select Reset with ▼/▲ buttons and then
press the OK button.
Blue Screen
To have a Blue Screen rather than Black when no input signal is available, select Blue
Screen with ▼/▲ buttons and then press OK button to select on/off then the menu button to
return to the previous menu.
OSD Timer
Select OSD Timer (on screen menu display time) with the ▼/▲ buttons and then press OK

LOCK MENU
Lock System
Select System Lock with the ▼/▲ buttons and then enter the password (default is “0000") to
then access the Block Program or Parental Guidance menus.
SET Password

(default is “0000” and then set a new password.
Block Program (DTV TV only, DTV must be selected as the source)
Select Block Program with ▼/▲ buttons, and press OK button. You can then add the
channels you wish to block.
Parental Guidance (DTV TV only, DTV must be selected as the source)
Select Parental Guidance with▼/▲ button, and then press the OK button. With the ◄ / ►
buttons, the parental guidance function can be turned on or off.

Hotel model allows you to select a number of features that make this TV also useful for shop
displays, promotions or where you are after simple operation from one source.
Select Hotel Lock with the ▼/▲ buttons and then enter the password (default is “0000") then
use the buttons to turn this feature ON or OFF.◄ / ►
Key Lock
Select Set Password with▼/▲ buttons. Then press OK button to input the old password
(default is “0000” and then set a new password.
Source Setting
Select Block Program with ▼/▲ buttons, and press OK button. You can then add the
channels you wish to block.
Default Source
Select Parental Guidance with▼/▲ button, and then press the OK button.

Press the EPG button on the Remote control to access the Electronic Program Guide
(DTV only)
Record
Press the RED button on the remote control to enter the Recording
sub-menu. You can the channel, start and end times of the program
you want to record using the ▼/▲◄ / ►and buttons.
Info
Press the GREEN button on the remote to display detailed
information about the program.
Schedule
Press the YELLOW button on the remote to display the Schedule
List to display the programmes you have scheduled to record or
be reminded of.
Remind
Press the BLUE button on the remote control to set a reminder for a program you would like
to watch at a later date.

Press the “MEDIA” button on the remote control to access this menu. You can also access
this menu by selecting “MEDIA” as a Source on the remote Control
Press buttons to select Photo/Music/Movie/Text , and then press ENTER button the ◄ / ►
to select the appropriate selection. NOTE: A USB device must be plugged in to use these
functions.

RECORD Live TV (DTV Only)
If you are watching DTV, you can press the Record button on the remote. The TV will •
display the recording control menu.
Stop Recording
Press the button to stop recording. The TV will display a confirmation message to stop
recording. Press ◄ on the remote to confirm.
When the storage space of the USB drive is full, the TV will display a warning message then
stop recording and return to normal broadcast Television.
Time Shift/Pause Live TV
While watching DTV, press the “TIME SHIFT” button on the remote control to Pause Live
TV plus bring up the time shift control menu. The time shift control menu is similar to the
Record menu and you can perform various functions such as exit time shift, or fast forward
to catch up to the live program etc.
Pressing the “TIME SHIFT” button again will continue the live program from where you
paused it (time shift).
Important: To display the Time Shift menu when the TV is either paused or on
Time Shift playback, press the “OK” button on the remote control.
PVR - Personal Video Recorder Functions
PHOTO VIEWER
1. Select PHOTO with the buttons, and then press the OK button to enter sub_menu.◄ / ►
2. Select C:\, then press the OK button to select the USB drive.
3. Select the specific photo, and press button to view, press the button to
view the previous image, press the button to view the next image. A menu with further
options will also be displayed where you an use the arrow key to make further selections.
4. Press the Exit button to exit.

1. Select MUSIC with the buttons, and then press the OK button to enter sub_menu.◄ / ►
2. Select C:\, then press the OK button to select the USB drive.
3. Using the arrow keys, select a specific song, and press the button to play, press the
button to play the previous song, press the button to play the next song. Selecting
particular songs with the “OK” button will form a playlist of songs you want to play. Not doing
this will mean that all of the songs are played in order after your first selection.
4. Press the RED button to delete a selected song/track.
5. Press the Exit button to exit.

a preview of the video will start playing in the middle of the screen.
Press the “OK” button to start playback.
A player menu will be displayed where you can select options such as repeating videos etc.
Select to play the previous title, select to play the next title.
4. Press the RED button to delete the selected video title.
5. Press the Exit button to exit.

1. TV DISPLAY: Set the screen ratio
options are: Normal/PS (4:3 Pan Scan),
Normal/PS (4:3 Letter Box) and Wide
(16:9). The default settings is wide.
2. OSD Lang: Set the OSD Language
options.

DVD titles, Options: ON/OFF.

subtitle languages if supported by the DVD

subtitle or choose any of them as the current
subtitle language.
4. Disc menu: DVD Disc menu language
selection options.
5. PARENTAL This function disables
playback of specific DVD’s which may be
unsuitable for children.
Some DVDs are encoded with specific rating
levels. lf the rating level of the disc is higher
than that preset in this menu, playback of the
disc will be prohibited.
After selecting one of the PARENTAL codes,
the screen will display the PASSWORD page.
The default password is “8888".
6. PASSWORD [DVD only]: Allows you to
change the current PASSWORD.
7. Default: This option will return the DVD
to it’s factory default settings.

Subtitle language [DVD]
If the DVD you are watching has subtitles, press [SUBTITLE] repeatedly during
playback until the desired subtitle language appears on the TV screen.
Example: SUBTITLE 01/03 ENG
NOTE: Not all discs support this function.
Audio soundtrack language (multilanguage) [DVD]
This function works only with discs that have multiple audio soundtrack
languages recorded.
Press [AUDIO] repeatedly during playback until the desired language appears
on the TV screen.
NOTES:
When the desired language is not selected, even though the button is
pressed, the language is not available on the disc.
If the language is not recorded on the disc, only the available language on
the disc will be heard.
When you turn off the power or change the disc, you have to select the
language again.
On-screen information
Press [DISPLAY] repeatedly to show the disc information available (Title,
Chapter, Title elapsed playing time, Language, etc.).
Picture/JPEG CD playback
To start a slide show from the thumbnail pictures:
1. Press to select the desired picture.
To go to the next or previous thumbnail pictures, press or .
2. Press [OK] or / (Play) to start the slide show from the selected picture.
During the slide show:
PRESS to pause. Press (Play) to continue.

Cleaning and Maintenance
WARNING!
For your personal safety, be sure to disconnect the power adaptor before
proceeding with any maintenance or cleaning.
Cleaning the TV screen
• Do not touch the TV screen with sharp objects.
• Use a clean, soft cloth to wipe off any dust and fingerprints from the TV
screen surface. Wipe in a straight motion from the center of the TV panel to
the outside.
• Do not clean the screen with water or chemical cleaners, as this may
damage the TV screen surface.
• Never use chemicals such as household cleaning sprays, antistatic sprays or
fluids, benzene or thinner to clean the TV screen.
Cleaning the main unit
• Dust the TV set by wiping the screen and cabinet with a soft, clean cloth.
• If necessary, wipe the outside of the unit with a clean, soft cloth, moistened
with lukewarm water.
• Do not use benzene, thinner or alcohol as these chemicals will smudge the
surface finish.
Maintenance
• Do not dismantle this product by yourself, as this may cause damage.
There are no user-serviceable parts contained in the TV set.
• If your TV set has been damaged, contact the after sales support line for
advice or take it to a local service center for inspection or repair. No
liability can be accepted for any damage caused by non-compliance with
these instructions or any other improper use or mishandling of appliance.
• This product should not be adjusted or repaired by anyone except
properly qualified personnel.
