02. SICHERHEITSHINWEISE
Bestimmungsgemäßer Gebrauch
Der Haartrockner ist ausschließlich zum Trocknen und Stylen von
echten, menschlichen Kopfhaaren vorgesehen.
Das Gerät ist für den privaten Haushalt konzipiert und darf nicht für
gewerbliche Zwecke eingesetzt werden. Das Gerät darf nur in Innen-
räumen benutzt werden.
Vorhersehbarer Missbrauch
Trocknen Sie mit dem Haartrockner keine anderen Körperteile, Tiere
oder Gegenstände. Verwenden Sie das Gerät nicht für Kunsthaar.
Anweisungen für den sicheren Betrieb
Dieses Gerät kann von Kindern ab 8 Jahren
sowie von Personen mit reduzierten physi-
schen, sensorischen oder mentalen Fähig-
keiten oder Mangel an Erfahrung und/oder
Wissen benutzt werden. Dies gilt, wenn sie
beaufsichtigt oder bezüglich des sicheren
Gebrauchs des Gerätes unterwiesen wur-
den und die daraus resultierenden Gefah-
ren verstanden haben.
Kinder dürfen nicht mit dem Gerät spielen.
Reinigung und Benutzerwartung dürfen
nicht durch Kinder durchgeführt werden, es
sei denn, sie sind beaufsichtigt.
Kinder jünger als 8 Jahre sind vom Gerät
und der Anschlussleitung fernzuhalten.
Benutzen Sie dieses Gerät nicht in der
Nähe von Badewannen, Duschen, Wasch-
becken oder anderen Gefäßen, die Was-
ser enthalten.
Wenn das Gerät in einem Badezimmer
verwendet wird, ist nach Gebrauch das
Steckernetzteil zu ziehen, da die Nähe von
Wasser eine Gefahr darstellt, auch wenn das
Gerät ausgeschaltet ist.
Wenn das Netzkabel beschädigt ist, muss es
durch den Hersteller, seinen Kundendienst
oder eine ähnlich qualifizierte Person ersetzt
werden, um eine Gefahr zu vermeiden.
Bei einem Kabelaustausch darf auf keinen
Fall der transparente, eingesetzte PVC-
Schutz fehlen.
Als zusätzlicher Schutz wird die Installation
einer Fehlerstromschutzeinrichtung (FI/
RCD) mit einem Bemessungsauslösestrom
von nicht mehr als 30mA im Stromkreis
empfohlen. Fragen Sie Ihren Elektro-
installateur um Rat. Lassen Sie den Einbau
ausschließlich von einer Elektro-Fachkraft
durchführen.
GEFAHR für Kinder
Verpackungsmaterial ist kein Kinderspielzeug.
Kinder dürfen nicht mit den Kunststoffbeuteln spielen.
Es besteht Erstickungsgefahr.

GEFAHR von Stromschlag durch Feuchtigkeit
Legen Sie das Gerät niemals so ab, dass es im angeschlosse-
nen Zustand ins Wasser fallen kann.
Schützen Sie das Gerät vor Feuchtigkeit, Tropf- oder Spritz-
wasser.
 Bedienen Sie das Gerät nicht mit nassen Händen.
 Das Gerät, das Kabel und der Netzstecker dürfen nicht in
Wasser oder andere Flüssigkeiten getaucht werden.
 Sollte das Gerät doch einmal ins Wasser gefallen sein, ziehen
Sie sofort den Netzstecker und nehmen Sie erst danach das
Gerät heraus. Benutzen Sie das Gerät in diesem Fall nicht mehr,
sondern lassen Sie es durch einen Fachbetrieb überprüfen.
 Sollte Flüssigkeit in das Gerät gelangen, sofort den Netzstecker
ziehen. Vor einer erneuten Inbetriebnahme das Gerät prüfen
lassen.
GEFAHR durch Stromschlag
Nehmen Sie das Gerät nicht in Betrieb, wenn das Gerät oder
das Kabel sichtbare Schäden aufweist oder wenn das Gerät
zuvor fallen gelassen wurde.
 Schließen Sie den Netzstecker nur an eine ordnungsgemäß
installierte, gut zugängliche Steckdose an, deren Spannung der
Angabe auf dem Typenschild entspricht. Die Steckdose muss
auch nach dem Anschließen weiterhin gut zugänglich sein.
 Achten Sie darauf, dass das Kabel nicht durch scharfe
Kanten oder heiße Stellen beschädigt werden kann. Wickeln
Sie das Kabel nicht um das Gerät (Gefahr von Kabelbruch!).
 Achten Sie darauf, dass das Kabel nicht eingeklemmt oder
gequetscht wird.
 Um den Netzstecker aus der Steckdose zu ziehen, immer am
Stecker, nie am Kabel ziehen.
 Ziehen Sie den Netzstecker aus der Steckdose, …
… nach jedem Gebrauch,
… wenn eine Störung auftritt,
… wenn Sie das Gerät nicht benutzen,
… bevor Sie das Gerät reinigen und
… bei Gewitter.
 Versuchen Sie niemals, mit spitzen Gegenständen (z.B. mit
einem Stielkamm) Staub oder Fremdkörper aus dem Geräte-
inneren zu entfernen.
 Um Gefährdungen zu vermeiden, nehmen Sie keine Verän-
derungen am Gerät sowie an den Zubehörteilen vor. Auch
das Kabel darf nicht selbst ausgetauscht werden. Lassen Sie
Reparaturen nur durch einen Fachbetrieb durchführen.
GEFAHR – Brandgefahr
Lassen Sie das angeschlossene Gerät niemals unbeaufsichtigt.
 Gerät niemals abdecken oder auf weichen Gegenständen (wie
z.B. Handtüchern) ablegen.
 Achten Sie darauf, dass Luftansaug- und Luftaustrittsöffnung
stets frei sind. Halten Sie die Luftansaugöffnung fern von langen
Haaren oder Gegenständen, die angesaugt werden könnten.
 Dieses Gerät hat einen Überhitzungsschutz. Bei Überhitzung,
z.B. durch Abdecken der Luftansaug- oder Luftaustrittsöffnung,
schaltet sich das Gerät automatisch aus. Stellen Sie in diesem
Fall den Ein-/Ausschalter auf 0(aus), ziehen Sie den Netzstecker
aus der Steckdose und lassen Sie das Gerät ausreichend
abkühlen. Vergewissern Sie sich vor dem erneuten Einschalten,
dass keine Haare oder Fremdkörper die Luftansaugöffnung
blockieren.
 Schalten Sie das Gerät nicht gleichzeitig mit einem anderen
Gerät mit hoher Leistungsaufnahme ein, das an dieselbe Mehr-
fachsteckdose angeschlossen ist.
 Verwenden Sie kein Verlängerungskabel.
GEFAHR von Verbrennungen
Richten Sie den heißen Luftstrom nicht auf Augen, Hände oder
andere wärmeempfindliche Körperbereiche.
 Berühren Sie nicht die heißen Oberflächen des Gerätes.
 Lassen Sie das Gerät vollständig abkühlen, bevor Sie es reini-
gen oder wegräumen.

WARNUNG vor Verletzungen
Legen Sie das Kabel so, dass niemand darüber stolpert oder
darauf tritt!
VORSICHT! Sachschäden
Legen Sie das Gerät niemals auf heiße Oberflächen (z.B. Herd-
platten) oder in die Nähe von Wärmequellen oder offenem Feuer.
 Verwenden Sie keine scharfen oder kratzenden Reinigungsmittel.
 Bewahren Sie das Gerät bei einer Temperatur zwischen –10°C
und +40 °C auf.
03. ZU DIESER ANLEITUNG
 Lesen Sie vor der ersten Inbetriebnahme diese Bedienungs-
anleitung gründlich durch und befolgen Sie vor allen Dingen die
Sicherheitshinweise!
 Das Gerät darf nur so bedient werden, wie in dieser Anleitung
beschrieben. Der Hersteller oder Händler übernimmt keine Haftung
für Schäden, die durch nicht bestimmungsgemäßen Gebrauch
entstanden sind.
 Bewahren Sie diese Anleitung auf.
 Falls Sie das Gerät einmal weitergeben, legen Sie bitte diese Be-
dienungsanleitung dazu.
Warnhinweise in dieser Anleitung
Falls erforderlich, werden folgende Warnhinweise in dieser
Bedienungsanleitung verwendet:
GEFAHR! Hohes Risiko: Missachtung der Warnung kann
Schaden für Leib und Leben verursachen.
WARNUNG! Mittleres Risiko: Missachtung der Warnung
kann Verletzungen oder schwere Sachschäden verursachen.
VORSICHT: Geringes Risiko: Missachtung der Warnung
kann leichte Verletzungen oder Sachschäden verursachen.
HINWEIS: Sachverhalte und Besonderheiten, die im Umgang mit dem
Gerät beachtet werden sollten.
04. BEDIENUNG
HINWEIS: Vor dem ersten Gebrauch schalten Sie das Gerät einige Minu-
ten ein und lassen es auf höchster Geschwindigkeit und bei höchster
Temperatur laufen. Dabei kann fabrikationsbedingt eine leichte
Geruchsbildung entstehen. Diese ist unbedenklich und tritt nur bei
Erstgebrauch auf. Sorgen Sie für eine gute Durchlüftung des Raumes.
Ein-/Ausschalten und Luftstrom regeln
1. Stecken Sie den Netzstecker in eine gut zugängliche Steckdose.
2. Mit dem Ein-/Ausschalter und Schalter für die Leistungsstufen 5
schalten Sie das Gerät ein und wählen die gewünschte Leistungs-
stufe:
0– aus
1– langsamer Luftstrom, geringere Temperatur
2– schneller Luftstrom, höhere Temperatur
3. Nach dem Trocknen schalten Sie den Ein-/Ausschalter auf 0(aus)
und ziehen Sie den Netzstecker.
Ionisierungsfunktion
Dieses Gerät hat eine Ionisierungsfunktion, die permanent Ionen auf
das Haar aufbringt, um die statische Aufladung des Haares zu reduzie-
ren und die Frisierbarkeit zu verbessern.
Temperatur wählen
Mit dem Schalter für die Heißluftstufen wählen Sie die gewünschte
Temperatur des Luftstroms:
I= geringe Temperatur
II = mittlere Temperatur
III = hohe Temperatur
Abkühlfunktion “COOL SHOT”
Um die Haltbarkeit der Frisur zu verbessern, können Sie die mit Warm-
luft geformte Haarpartie abkühlen.
 Drücken Sie während des Trocknens die Taste “COOL SHOT” und
lassen Sie die Taste los, um die Abkühlfunktion einzuschalten.

Unabhängig von der Ausgangstemperatur erhalten Sie einen kühlen
Luftstrom (siehe Abb. B). Schalten Sie durch erneutes Drücken die
Abkühlfunktion aus.
HINWEIS: Wenn Sie die Abkühlfunktion nicht ausschalten – durch
erneutes Drücken der Taste “COOL SHOT” – , bleibt die Funktion aktiv,
auch nach Ziehen des Netzsteckers.
Stylingdüse
Die Stylingdüse ermöglicht es, den Luftstrom gezielt auf bestimmte
Haarpartien zu richten.
 Stecken Sie die Stylingdüse vorne auf den Haartrockner, sodass sie
einrastet.
 Die Stylingdüse lässt sich in jede gewünschte Position drehen.
 Sie können die abgekühlte Stylingdüse vom Haartrockner abziehen.
Diffusor
Der Diffusor verteilt den Luftstrom gleichmäßig auf dem Haar und ist
besonders für lockiges oder gewelltes Haar geeignet.
 Stecken Sie den Diffusor vorne auf den Haartrockner, sodass er
einrastet.
05. REINIGUNG
GEFAHR! Ziehen Sie vor der Reinigung den Netzstecker und
lassen Sie das Gerät abkühlen.
VORSICHT! Verwenden Sie keine scharfen oder kratzenden
Reinigungsmittel.
Reinigen Sie das Gerät regelmäßig. Achten Sie besonders darauf, dass
die Luftansaug- und die Luftaustrittsöffnung frei von Staub, Haaren und
Fusseln sind.
 Wischen Sie das Gehäuse und das Schutzgitter über der Luftansaug-
öffnung und die Stylingdüse mit einem leicht angefeuchteten Tuch ab.
 Ziehen Sie die Stylingdüse vom Haartrockner ab. Halten Sie den
Haartrockner mit der Luftaustrittsöffnung 7nach unten. Reinigen
Sie die Schutzlamellen mit einem Pinsel.
 Drehen Sie das Schutzgitter etwas gegen den Uhrzeigersinn und
ziehen es dann ab (siehe Abb. C). Halten Sie den Haartrockner mit
der Luftansaugöffnung 1nach unten. Reinigen Sie das innere
und das äußere Schutzgitter mit einem Pinsel.
06. AUFBEWAHRUNG
GEFAHR! Wickeln Sie das Kabel nicht um das Gerät (Gefahr
von Kabelbruch!)
 Mit der Aufhängeöse 3können Sie das Gerät zur Aufbewahrung
sicher und praktisch aufhängen.
07. STÖRUNGEN BEHEBEN
GEFAHR! Versuchen Sie auf keinen Fall, das Gerät selbstständig
zu reparieren. Ziehen Sie immer den Netzstecker aus der Steck-
dose, wenn eine Störung auftritt.
Störung: Überprüfen Sie Folgendes:

 Stromversorgung sichergestellt?
 Hat der Überhitzungsschutz das Gerät ausgeschal-
tet? Stellen Sie den Ein-/Ausschalter auf 0(aus),
ziehen Sie den Netzstecker aus der Steckdose und
lassen Sie das Gerät ausreichend abkühlen. Verge-
wissern Sie sich vor dem erneuten Einschalten, dass
keine Haare oder Fremdkörper die Luftansaugöff-
nung blockieren.
Luftstrom
ist kalt
 Abkühlfunktion “COOL SHOT” ausgeschaltet?
(siehe Kapitel 04. BEDIENUNG)

10. ENTSORGUNG
Das nebenstehende Symbol bedeutet, dass das Produkt in
der Europäischen Union einer getrennten Müllsammlung
zugeführt werden muss. Dies gilt für das Produkt und alle mit
diesem Symbol gekennzeichneten Zubehörteile. Gekenn-
zeichnete Produkte dürfen nicht über den normalen Haus-
müll entsorgt werden, sondern müssen an einer Annahme-

02. SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Intended use
The hair dryer is intended exclusively for drying and styling real human
scalp hair.
The appliance is designed for private home use and must not be used
for commercial purposes.
The appliance must only be used indoors.
Foreseeable misuse
Do not use the hair dryer for drying other body parts, animals or ob-
jects. Do not use the appliance for artificial hair.
Instructions for a safe operation
This appliance may be used by children old-
er than 8 years, people with reduced phys-
ical, sensory or mental faculties, as well as
people without experience or who do not
know the appliance. This applies as long as
they are supervised or have been instructed
on the safe use of the appliance and have
understood the related dangers.
Children must not play with the appliance.
Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be
carried out by children unless they are super-
vised.
 Children younger than 8 years must be kept
away from the appliance and power supply
cord.

Do not use this appliance in the vicinity of
bathtubs, showers, washbasins or other
vessels containing water.
If the appliance is used in a bathroom, the
plug must be pulled out after use, as the
proximity of water represents a hazard, even
when the appliance is switched off.
If the mains cord is damaged, it must be
replaced by the manufacturer, by the man-
ufacturer’s customer service or by a person
with similar qualifications in order to pre-
vent any hazard. When replacing the mains
cord, the transparent, inserted PVC protec-
tion must not be missing.
Installation of a residual current appliance
(FI/RCD) with a rated residual operating cur-
rent of no more than 30 mA is recommend-
ed to provide additional protection. Ask your
electrician for advice. The installation should
only be carried out by a qualified electrician.
DANGER for children
Children must not play with packaging material. Do not allow
children to play with plastic bags. Danger of suffocation.
DANGER of electric shock as a result of moisture
Never put the appliance down in such a way that it could fall
into water while still connected.
Protect the appliance from moisture, dripping water or splash
water.
 Never touch the appliance with wet hands.
 The appliance, the cord and the mains plug must not fall into
water or other liquids.
 If the appliance has fallen into water, pull out the mains plug im-
mediately, and only then remove the appliance from the water. Do
not use the appliance again, but have it checked by a specialist.
 Should liquid get into the appliance, pull out the mains plug im-
mediately. Have the appliance checked before operating it again.
DANGER of electric shock
Do not operate the appliance if the appliance or the cord
shows visible signs of damage or if the appliance has been
dropped.
Only connect the mains plug to a properly installed and easily
accessible socket whose voltage matches the data stated on
the type plate. The socket must still be easily accessible after
connection.
 Ensure that the cord cannot be damaged by sharp edges or
hot surfaces. Do not wrap the cord around the appliance (cable
break danger!).
 Make sure the cord is not trapped or crushed.
 To unplug the mains plug, always pull the plug and never the
cord.
 Remove the mains plug from the socket, ...

… when you are not using the appliance,
… before cleaning the appliance and
… during thunderstorms.
 Never attempt to remove dust or foreign bodies from inside
the appliance using pointed objects (e.g. a tail comb).
 To avoid any risk, do not make any changes to the appliance or
accessories. Do not replace the cable yourself either. Repairs
must only be carried out by a specialised company.

DANGER – Fire hazard
Never leave the appliance unattended while plugged in.
 Never cover the appliance or place it on soft objects
(e.g. bath towels).
 Ensure that the air inlet and air outlet are always free. Keep the air
inlet free from long hair or objects that could get sucked into it.
 This appliance has an overheating protection system.
In the event of overheating, e.g. if the air inlet or air outlet is
covered, the appliance switches itself off automatically. If this
occurs, set the on/off switch to 0(off), pull out the plug from
the mains socket, and allow the appliance to cool adequately.
Before switching it back on, ensure that there are no hairs or
foreign bodies blocking the air inlet.
 Do not switch on the appliance at the same time as another
appliance with high power consumption plugged into the
same multiple socket.
 Do not use an extension cable.
DANGER of burns
Do not direct the hot air flow towards eyes, hands or other
parts of the body that are sensitive to heat.
 Do not touch the hot surface of the appliance.
 Allow the appliance to cool down completely before you clean
it or put it away.
WARNING! Risk of injury
Place the cord in such a way that no one trips over it or steps
on it!
CAUTION! Risk of material damage
Never place the appliance on hot surfaces (e.g. hob plates) or
near heat sources or open fire.
 Do not use any harsh or abrasive cleaning agents.
 Store the appliance at a temperature between -10°C and +40°C.

 Before using the appliance for the first time, read the Instructions
for Use carefully and ensure you comply with the safety instruc-
tions!

04. OPERATION
NOTE: Before using the appliance for the first time, switch it on for a few
minutes and allow it to run at the highest speed and temperature set-
ting. As a result of the manufacturing process, a slight odour may be
produced. This is not harmful and only occurs during initial use. Ensure
that the room has good ventilation.
Switching the appliance on/off and controlling the air flow
1. Insert the mains plug into an easily accessible socket.
2. The on/off switch and switch for the power settings 5allow you to
switch the appliance on and to select the desired power setting:
0– off
1– slow air flow, lower temperature
2– fast air flow, higher temperature
3. After drying, set the on/off switch to 0(off) and pull out the mains
plug.
Ionic technology
This appliance features ionic technology, permanently releasing ions
onto the hair to reduce the static charge of the hair and allow easier
styling.
Selecting the temperature
The switch for the hot air settings allows you to select the desired
temperature for the air flow:
I= low temperature
II = medium temperature
III = high temperature
“COOL SHOT” cooling function
The hair section styled with hot air can be cooled to improve the dura-
bility of your hairstyle.
 While drying your hair, press and release the 'COOL SHOT' button
to switch on the cooling function.
A cool air flow is obtained, irrespective of the outlet temperature
(see Fig. B). To deactivate the cooling function, press the button again.
NOTE: If you do not switch off the cooling function – by pressing the
'COOL SHOT' button again – the function remains activated, also after
pulling the mains plug.
Styling nozzle
The styling nozzle makes it possible to target the air flow at specific
sections of hair.
 Attach the styling nozzle to the front of the hair dryer so that it
clicks into place.
 The styling nozzle can be rotated into any desired position.
 You can remove the cooled styling nozzle from the hair dryer.
Diffuser
The diffuser distributes the air flow evenly over the hair and is particu-
larly suitable for curly or wavy hair.
 Attach the diffuser to the front of the hair dryer so that it clicks into
place.
05. CLEANING
DANGER!
Before cleaning, pull out the mains plug and allow the
appliance to cool down.
CAUTION!
Do not use any harsh or abrasive cleaning agents.
Clean the appliance regularly. Be particularly sure to check that the air
inlet and air outlet are free from dust, hairs and fluff.
 Wipe down the casing, the protective grille over the air inlet and
the styling nozzle with a slightly damp cloth.

 Remove the styling nozzle from the hair dryer. Hold the hair dryer
with the air outlet 7facing downwards. Clean the safety fins with
a brush.
 Slightly rotate the protective grille in an anticlockwise direction
and pull it off (see fig. C). Hold the hair dryer with the air intake 1
facing downwards. Clean the inner and outer protective grille
using a brush.
06. STORAGE
DANGER! Do not wrap the cord around the appliance (danger
of cable break!).
 You can use the hanging loop 3in order to store the appliance in
a safe and practical manner.
07. TROUBLESHOOTING
DANGER! Do not attempt to repair the appliance yourself.
Always remove the mains plug from the socket whenever a
fault occurs.
Fault: Please check the following:
No function  Is the power supply secured?
 Has the overheating protection switched off the
appliance? Set the on/ off switch to 0(off), pull
out the plug from the mains socket and allow the
appliance to cool adequately. Before switching it
back on, ensure that there are no hairs or foreign
bodies blocking the air inlet.

02. CONSIGNES DE SÉCURITÉ
Utilisation conforme
Le sèche-cheveux est uniquement destiné au séchage et au coiffage de
cheveux humains naturels.
L'appareil est conçu pour un usage domestique privé et ne peut être
utilisé à des fins commerciales.
L'appareil ne doit être utilisé qu'en intérieur.
Contre-indications d'utilisation
Ne pas utiliser le sèche-cheveux pour sécher d‘autres parties du corps,
des animaux ou des objets. Ne pas utiliser l‘appareil pour sécher des
cheveux artificiels.
Instructions pour une utilisation
en toute sécurité
Cet appareil ne peut être utilisé par des
enfants de plus de 8 ans, des personnes
aux facultés physiques, sensorielles ou
mentales réduites, ainsi que des personnes
sans expérience ou qui ne connaissent pas
l'appareil que s'ils sont surveillés ou s'ils ont
reçu les instructions sur l'utilisation en toute
sécurité de l'appareil et s'ils ont compris les
dangers liés à son utilisation.
Il est interdit aux enfants de jouer avec l'ap-
pareil.
Il est interdit aux enfants de procéder au
nettoyage et à la maintenance à moins
qu'ils soient sous la surveillance d'un adulte.

L'appareil et le câble de raccordement
doivent être tenus hors de portée des en-
fants de moins de 8 ans.
Ne pas utiliser l'appareil à proximité d'une
baignoire, d'une douche, d'un lavabo ou
d'un autre récipient contenant de l'eau.
Si l‘appareil est utilisé dans une salle de
bains, il doit être débranché après usage,
la proximité de l‘eau présentant un danger
même lorsque l‘appareil est éteint.
Si le cordon d’alimentation est endommagé,
il doit être immédiatement remplacé par le
fabricant, le service client ou un spécialiste
aux qualifications équivalentes afin d’éviter
tout accident. Lors du remplacement du
cordon d'alimentation, la protection insérée
en PVC est obligatoire.
Comme protection supplémentaire, il est
conseillé de pourvoir l'installation d'un dis-
positif différentiel résiduel (FI/RCD) avec un
courant de déclenchement nominal ne dé-
passant pas 30 mA dans le circuit. Deman-
dez conseil à votre électricien. Autorisez
uniquement à des électriciens spécialisés
d’effectuer le montage.
DANGER pour les enfants
Les emballages ne sont pas des jouets.
Il est conseillé de tenir les sachets en plastique hors de portée
des enfants. Risque de suffocation.
DANGER d'électrocution lié à l'humidité
En posant l‘appareil branché, veiller toujours à ce que celui-ci
ne puisse pas tomber dans l‘eau.
Protéger l'appareil de l'humidité et des éclaboussures.
 Ne pas manipuler l'appareil les mains mouillées.
 L‘appareil, le cordon et la prise ne doivent pas être immergés
dans l‘eau ou dans un autre liquide.
 Si l‘appareil tombe dans l‘eau, débranchez-le immédiatement,
sortez-le de l‘eau seulement après l‘avoir débranché. Dans ce
cas, ne réutilisez pas l‘appareil, faites-le vérifier par un profes-
sionnel.
 Si un liquide venait à pénétrer dans l'appareil, débranchez
celui-ci immédiatement. Faites-le vérifier par un professionnel
avant toute réutilisation.
DANGER d'électrocution
Ne pas utiliser l'appareil si celui-ci ou son cordon d'alimentation
présentent des dommages visibles ou si l'appareil est tombé.
Ne branchez l'appareil que sur une prise correctement
installée et facile d‘accès, dont la tension correspond à celle
indiquée sur la plaque signalétique. La prise doit rester facile
d‘accès, même après le branchement de l‘appareil.
 Veillez à ce que le cordon ne risque pas d'être endommagé
par des bords tranchants ou des surfaces chaudes. N'enroulez
pas le cordon autour de l'appareil (Risque d'endommage-
ment)
 Veillez à ce que le cordon ne soit ni coincé ni écrasé.
 Pour débrancher l'appareil, tirez sur la fiche, jamais sur le
cordon.
 Débranchez l'appareil...
… après chaque utilisation,

 N‘essayez jamais de retirer des poussières ou un objet tombés
à l‘intérieur à l‘aide d‘objets pointus (par ex. un peigne à queue)
 Afin d‘éviter tout accident, ne procédez à aucune modification
sur l‘appareil. Ne remplacez pas vous-même le cordon d‘ali-
mentation. Ne faire faire les réparations que par une entreprise
spécialisée.
DANGER - RISQUE D'INCENDIE
Ne jamais laisser l'appareil branché sans surveillance.
 Ne jamais couvrir l'appareil, ne jamais le poser sur un objet
mou (comme, par ex., une serviette de toilette).
 Veillez à ce que l'entrée et la sortie d'air ne soient pas obs-
truées. N‘approchez pas l‘ouverture d'entrée d'air de cheveux
longs ou d'objets qui pourraient être aspirés.
 Cet appareil dispose d‘une protection contre la surchauffe. En
cas de surchauffe due par ex. à une obstruction de l‘ouverture
d‘entrée ou de sortie d'air, l'appareil s'éteint automatiquement.
Dans ce cas, mettez l'interrupteur en position 0(éteint), retirez
la prise du secteur, et laissez l'appareil refroidir suffisamment.
Assurez-vous, avant de remettre l'appareil en marche, qu‘au-
cun cheveu ou objet ne bloque l‘entrée d'air.
 Ne pas allumer l'appareil en même temps qu'un autre appareil
à haute consommation d'électricité, branché sur la même
multiprise.
 Ne pas utiliser de rallonge.
Risque de brûlures
Ne dirigez pas le flux d'air chaud vers les yeux, les mains ou vers
d'autres parties du corps sensibles à la chaleur.
 Ne touchez pas la surface chaude de l'appareil.
 Laissez refroidir l‘appareil entièrement avant de le nettoyer ou
de le ranger.

Placez le câble de sorte à ce que personne ne trébuche
ou ne marche dessus !
PRUDENCE ! Dommages matériels
Ne placez jamais l'appareil sur des surfaces brûlantes
(par ex. les plaques de cuisson) ou à proximité de sources de

 N'utilisez aucun détergent acide ou corrosif.
 Stocker l’appareil à une température comprise entre −10°C et
+40°C.

04. UTILISATION
REMARQUE : Avant la première utilisation, allumez l‘appareil quelques
minutes et laissez-le fonctionner à la vitesse la plus rapide et à la tem-
pérature la plus élevée. Il se peut que l‘appareil émette une légère odeur
pour des raisons inhérentes à la fabrication. Celle-ci est sans incidence et
ne se produit que lors d'une première utilisation. Veillez à une aération
correcte de la pièce.
Allumer/éteindre et régler la vitesse
1. Branchez le cordon d‘alimentation sur une prise facilement acces-
sible.
2. À l‘aide de l‘interrupteur Marche / Arrêt et du commutateur de
réglage de la vitesse 5, allumez l‘appareil et choisissez la vitesse
voulue.
0– éteint
1– flux d‘air lent, basse température
2– flux d‘air rapide, température élevée
3. À la fin du séchage, mettez l‘interrupteur Marche/Arrêt en position 0
(éteint) et retirez la fiche d‘alimentation de la prise.
Fonction ionique
Cet appareil possède une fonction ionique diffusant en permanence
les ions sur la chevelure, afin de réduire l'électricité statique des che-
veux et de les rendre plus faciles à coiffer.
Choisir la température
À l‘aide du commutateur pour le réglage de la température, choisissez
la température du flux d‘air qui vous convient :
I= Température basse
II = Température moyenne
III = Température élevée
Fonction de refroidissement « COOL SHOT »
La partie de votre coiffure stylisée avec de l'air chaud peut être refroi-
die pour en renforcer la tenue.
 Lorsque vous utilisez le sèche-cheveux, pressez et relâchez le bou-
ton 'COOL SHOT' pour activer la fonction cooling.
Un flux d’air froid est obtenu quelque soit la température de
l’appareil (voir fig. B). Pour désactiver la fonction cooling, pressez à
nouveau le bouton.
REMARQUE : Si vous n’éteignez pas la fonction cooling – en pressant
à nouveau le bouton 'COOL SHOT' – la fonction restent activée, y com-
pris après avoir retiré la fiche d’alimentation.
Concentrateur
Le concentrateur permet de diriger précisément le flux d'air vers une
partie de la chevelure.
 Mettez le concentrateur en place, à l‘avant du sèche-cheveux, de
façon à ce qu‘il s’enclenche.
 Le concentrateur peut être orienté dans la position voulue.
 Une fois refroidi, vous pouvez ôter le concentrateur de l‘appareil.
Diffuseur
Le diffuseur disperse homogènement le flux d'air sur les cheveux et est
particulièrement adapté pour les cheveux frisés ou ondulés.
 Placez le diffuseur à l'avant du sèche-cheveux de sorte à ce qu'il
s'enclique.
05. NETTOYAGE
DANGER ! Avant de nettoyer l‘appareil, débranchez-le de la
prise et laissez-le refroidir.
PRUDENCE ! Ne pas utiliser de produit de nettoyage corrosif
ou abrasif.
Nettoyez l‘appareil régulièrement. Veillez particulièrement à ce que les
entrée et sortie d‘air soient exemptes de poussière, de cheveux ou de
peluches.

 Nettoyez le corps de l'appareil, la grille protectrice de l'ouverture
d'entrée d'air et le concentrateur avec un chiffon légèrement humide.
 Ôtez le concentrateur du sèche-cheveux. Tenez le sèche-cheveux
avec l'ouverture de sortie d'air 7dirigée vers le bas. Nettoyez les
lamelles de protection à l'aide d'une brosse.
 Tourner légèrement la grille de protection dans un sens antihoraire
et la retirer (voir fig. C). Maintenir le sèche-cheveux avec la sortie
d'air 1vers le bas. Nettoyer la grille de protection interne et
externe à l'aide d'une brosse.
06. STOCKAGE
DANGER ! N‘enroulez pas le cordon autour de l‘appareil
(Risque d‘endommagement du cordon!).
 Grâce à l’œillet de suspension 3, vous pouvez ranger l'appareil
en le suspendant de façon sûre et pratique.
07. DÉPANNAGE
DANGER ! N'essayez en aucun cas de réparer l'appareil vous-
même. Débranchez toujours la fiche d'alimentation de la prise
si une panne se produit.
Problème : Vérifiez les éléments suivants :

 L’appareil est-il bien connecté à l'alimentation ?
 La sécurité contre la surchauffe a t-elle été activée
? Mettez l’interrupteur marche/arrêt en position 0
(éteint), débranchez l’appareil et laissez-le refroidir
suffisamment. Assurez-vous, avant de remettre
l’appareil en marche, que l’ouverture d’entrée d’air
est exempte de tout objet qui pourrait la bloquer.
Le flux d'air
est froid
 La fonction “COOL SHOT” a-t-elle été désactivée ?
(voir chapitre 04. UTILISATION)
