1.1 Information
Please take note of this user’s manual before installing and using your appliance.
Keep this operating manual for reference with your appliance: it has been drawn up for your own and
other people’s safety and to ensure a perfect use of the percolator.
If the appliance is sold or transferred to someone else, ensure that the manual is with it.

and damage to the appliance or to the user

2/ Safety
Safety instructions are important notes to avoid accidents and damage on the appliance. You will find
these safety instructions in the individual chapters of this note and they are represented by special
symbols. To maintain the efficiency and safety of the appliance we recommend observing these notices
that must be visible on the appliance.
2.1 General information
Safety instructions are dedicated to avoid mistakes, and provide important information for insuring safe
installation, use and maintenance of the appliance. So the appliance must be used for the purpose for
which it was expressly designed. Any other use is considered to be improper and consequently
dangerous. The appliance is conceived according to the technical current rules.
2.2 Appropriated use
Non-compliance with using instructions can lead to serious injuries or damage to the appliance. We take
no responsibility for damages due to violations of the operating instructions. Any intervention work on
your appliance must be performed by qualified professionals.
Percolator coffee maker are dedicated expressly to prepare coffee, or to heat water using cold water.
IMPORTANT
Do not use the percolator coffee maker to prepare other drinks, sugar, alcohols, sweeteners, flammable
products… Any other use is considered inappropriate and is prohibited. Any charge due to inappropriate

use cannot be acceptable and considered null and void. A corresponding use must be in total
accordance with the using described in the user manual. A corresponding use must respect the
principles of security, hygiene, cleaning and maintenance.
2.3 Safety instructions
So far as indications on labor security are concerned, it refers to European Union’s rules currently in
force at the production of the appliance. For a trading use of the appliance, the professional is
responsible for checking and respecting the official texts regarding labor security and respect new
prescriptions.
For countries out of UE, laws and rules of the concerned country must be respected. As well as the
rules for environmental protection
IMPORTANT
This appliance is not intended to be used by persons (including children) with impaired physical,
sensorial or mental abilities and/or insufficient experience or knowledge, unless they are supervised by
a person responsible for their safety or have been instructed in the proper use of the appliance by this
person.
Forbidden to children
Children should be supervised in order to make sure that they don’t play with the appliance. Keep the
appliance out of reach of people of these groups.
The appliance must be used only inside closed premises.
3. Delivery, packing and storage.
3.1 Delivery checking
Immediately contact your dealer if you have found damage resulting from transport. In case of
packaging damaged you can refuse the parcel or accept it but with the mention of the damage on the
delivery document.
Unpack the appliance with all its accessories. Check the contents for completeness and possible
damages.
The damages will be considered receivable if a detailed claim is send to the dealer within the required
time.
3.2 Packing
Always transport or ship the appliance in its original packaging to avoid damage. Keep the packaging for
such an event (removal or back to the supplier for warranty).
Dispose of no longer needed packaging material properly respecting the rules for environment of the
concerned country.

3.3 Storage

The appliance must be stored in its original packaging closed

-Checking of the product in stock from more than two months (general state and all parts of

5. Installation and using your appliance
5.1 Safety
DANGER ELECTRIC SHOCK!
-Don’ t let the power supply cord touch hot parts
-Don’t let the power supply cord along a table or a counter
-Never poor water in the tank when the appliance is hot: wait until it has cooled down.
-Never poor hot water in the tank.
-The electric safety of this appliance is ensured only if it is correctly connected to an efficiently
single phase socket
WARNING !
Operating particularly in heating phases your appliance can reach very high temperature to avoid
injuries don’t touch hot parts. Do not use the appliance if it is damaged or if the power cord has been
damaged. If your appliance break down do not try to dismantle and repair it yourself. Only use the
original accessories supplied with your appliance.
DANGER ELECTRIC SHOCK!
The electrical safety of this appliance is ensured only if it is correctly connected to an efficiently
earthed system in accordance with electrical safety regulations. Make sure this basic safety
requirement has been complied with. If in doubt, have it checked by a qualified technician. Before
connecting your appliance make sure the specifications on the rating plate correspond with those of
your power supply.

5.2 Use
Always fill the tank with cold water.

ADVICE
When you fill the tank of your appliance never exceed the high level mark
Never fill the tank with hot water
Never open your appliance when it is operating.
Preparing coffee with your percolator
-Before using your coffee percolator clean all of the accessories with water and washing up
liquid then dry them
-Place it on a flat, stable, heat-resistant work surface
-Check that the base or the water tube is placed on the hole at the bottom of the tank
-Place the right quantity of ground coffee in the filter holder. (quantity around 6g for a cup)
-Pour cold water in the tank respecting the quantity of coffee desired and the minimal level.
-Place and close the lid
-Press ON/OFF switch on ON. Then the heating indicator flashes while the appliance is
warming up. When the Temperature control indicator turn to green it means coffee is ready to
be drink and will stayed at the good temperature.
-To reheat coffee, remove the filter and the water tube check it remains at least the equivalent
of 12 cups of coffee, close the appliance, put the ON OFF switch on ON.
-To pour the coffee: pull the tap in front and keep it in the position till the cup or jar is full. To
stop let the tap going back in its initial position automatically.
ADVICE
The position of the tap up on the tank allow the residual of use ground coffee to remain at the bottom of
the appliance and so is not mix with the coffee when served.
Preparing warm or hot water
With your appliance you can heat water: just pour cold water in the tank, replace the water tube and the
filter once cleaned and proceed as if you make coffee. Once the water warm or hot, turn the switch on
OFF.
Advices
-You will get better result in term of taste preparing coffee for 20 to 40 cups in the same
operation
-Always rinse your appliance after use.
-To reheat coffee, always remove the filter and the water tube.

6. Maintenance and cleaning
6.1 Safety instructions
-Always unplug the appliance for maintenance and cleaning
-Using caustic substance or sodium bicarbonate is forbidden
WARNING !
Do not immerse the appliance in water. Not direct washing via water jets.
6.2 Cleaning and descaling
Every day
-Clean your appliance after each use
-Take away from the tank residue of coffee
-Only clean the extern parts with a damp cloth
-Tap cleaning : pour the tank with warm water and open the tap to let the water draw away
-To clean the hole at the bottom of the tank use warm water, descaling product and a damp
clean cloth.
Every week
When you use your appliance every day, it’s recommended to clean completely the tap system once a
week. For this, unscrew the tap handle; clean the tap and the link between the tank and the tap. Clean
the tap handle, and screw it on the right position.
WARNING !
Once a week, we recommend carrying out a descaling operation. If not your appliance would
dysfunction. Regular descaling of your appliance is the best guarantee of your percolator’s long life.
No repairs to your appliance will be carried out due to:
-Descaling not being carried out
-Scale
Don’t forget to protect your eyes and hands during descaling and to wash your hand after.
6.3 Safety instruction for maintenance
- Check before each using the state of your appliance: do not use it if it is damaged or if the power cord
is damaged. If the power cord or any specific element is defective, in order to avoid any danger they
must be replaced by a professional electrician.

- In case of break down contact your supplier or our own representative service.
Any intervention work on your appliance must be performed by a qualified professional.
6.4 Troubleshooting
Your appliance is provided with an overheating protection. When this protection has been activated you
must let your appliance cool down.
ADVICE
The main raison that activates overheating protection is deposit of scale on the heating system in the
tank that’s why we recommend carrying out a descaling operation.
If the cause of the problem cannot be determined contact your supplier.
7. If Operating anomalies occur.
WARNING !
The appliance is equiped with a protection against overheating with automatic rearmement. If protection
against overheating were started, let cool the appliance, it will re-engage itself automatically.
ADVICE
The protection against overheating will automatically start if the hold inside the tank is scaled. A
descaling operation must be carried out.
