If an error is detected during programming, TeleSwitch generates a “dee-doo” alarm tone and
breaks the connection.
Programming the number of rings before the TeleSwitch responds.
On leaving the factory the TeleSwitch is preset for 4 rings. If you wish to change this number,
perform programming and setting of the number of rings as follows:
1. Press the Code button on the TeleSwitch and the Code LED lights.

,Programming the alarm telephone number.
TeleSwitch rings to a pre-programmed telephone number if the input
is activated for Channel 1 and/or Channel 2. (message or alarm contact closes)
Each channel can have its own telephone number. If no telephone number is
programmed, TeleSwitch will not alarm; it is always possible to read the status of the
inputs by ringing to TeleSwitch. See the channel input reading procedure on page 7.

Note!
If an input is activated, the TeleSwitch will ring the programmed telephone number for that
channel.
If the TeleSwitch rings and the handset is lifted, the TeleSwitch will generate a ”dee-doo”
alarm/message tone. If the handset is then hung up, the TeleSwitch will first ring again if the
input has already deactivated (message/alarm contact is open) and thereafter activated again
(message/alarm contact closes).
TeleSwitch rings 6 times per alarm. If the telephone number is engaged, the TeleSwitch will try a
new call after 18 seconds. TeleSwitch tries 3 calls and after those will not try again.
Programming of the mode. The channels are set for either output or input.
Channel 1 and Channel 2 can be individually set to be either an output or an input
If a channel is set to be an output, this output can be remotely controlled to light/extinguish
or start/stop the connected control unit.
If a channel is set to be an input, that input can be connected to a message or alarm
contact.
When the input is activated (message/alarm contact closes) it is possible to set a
telephone number to which the TeleSwitch will call. If no telephone number is selected
the input status can be read. See the channel input reading procedure on page 7.
