MODULARITY AND REPEATABILITY
Scaldasalviette modulare realizzato in acciaio
inossidabile AISI 304 e alimentato ad energia
elettrica a basso voltaggio (24 Volt).
Componibile con due lunghezze differenti di
barra (580 mm e 1060 mm) a seconda delle
esigenze di progetto, con il suo design pulito
e lineare EQUILIBRIO si adatta facilmente ad
ogni ambiente domestico ed è installabile sia in
orizzontale che in verticale.
L’incasso universale ne determina la massima
componibilità e/o ripetibilità.
Qualora il montaggio del corpo incasso avvenga
in linea, la distanza minima fra i due elementi sarà
di 150 mm.

Modular heated towel rail made of AISI 304
stainless steel and powered by low-voltage
electricity (24 Volt).
Thanks to its modular design, available in
different lengths of towel rail (580 mm and 1060
mm) according to the project requirements,
EQUILIBRIO’s clean lines are a perfect fit for any
domestic setting. The item can be installed both
horizontally and vertically.
The universal built-in part determines the maximum
modularity and/or repeatability.
If the built-in parts are installed in-line, the
minimum distance between the two elements will be
150 mm.

MODULARITY AND REPEATABILITY
Disponibile con o senza interruttore, ogni
composizione è abbinata ad un alimentatore
dedicato che supporta fino a 80 Watt ed è collegato
ad un unico pulsante di accensione.
Qualora si desideri aggiungere altri elementi alla
composizione, è necessario calcolare che la somma
dei consumi degli elementi non superi gli 80 Watt.
Se la nuova composizione supera gli 80 Watt è
necessario aggiungere un nuovo alimentatore
(TRS01) e un interruttore (BOT03 o pulsante
normalmente aperto).
Scatola di derivazione e cavi elettrici sono a
discrezione dei tecnici addetti all’installazione.
EQUILIBRIO è compatibile con i sistemi di
domotica.

It is available with or without power button and
each composition is combined with a dedicated
power supply unit that supports up to 80 Watt and
is connected to a single switch. If other elements
are to be added to the composition, it is necessary
that the final sum of the elements’ consumption
does not exceed 80 Watt. If the new composition
exceeds 80 Watt, it is necessary to add a new
power supply unit (TRS01) and a switch (BOT03
or retractive switch).
The junction box and the electrical cables are not
included.
EQUILIBRIO works with home automation
systems.

AVVERTENZE GENERALI:
l’apparecchio è costruito a regola d’arte. La sua durata e la
sua affidabilità elettrica e meccanica, saranno maggiori se
esso verrà usato correttamente e se verrà fatta una regolare
manutenzione.
• Leggere attentamente le avvertenze contenute nel
presente libretto in quanto forniscono importanti
indicazioni riguardanti la sicurezza di installazione, d’uso
e manutenzione. Conservare con cura questo libretto per
ogni ulteriore consultazione.
• Dopo aver tolto l’imballo, assicurarsi dell’integrità
dell’apparecchio. In caso di dubbio, non utilizzare
l’apparecchio e rivolgersi a personale professionalmente
qualificato. Gli elementi dell’imballo (sacchetti in plastica,
polistirolo espanso, cartone, ecc.) non devono essere
lasciati alla portata dei bambini in quanto potenziali fonti
di pericolo.
• Questo apparecchio dovrà essere destinato solo all’uso
per il quale è stato espressamente concepito e cioè come
scaldasalviette. Ogni altro uso è da considerarsi improprio
e quindi pericoloso. CEADESIGN SRL non può essere
considerata responsabile per eventuali danni derivanti da
usi impropri, erronei ed irragionevoli.
• Lo scaldasalviette è per uso esclusivamente interno.
• Prestare attenzione quando usato in presenza di bambini
o diversamente abili.
• Lo scaldasalviette può essere utilizzato da bambini di
età superiore a 8 anni e da persone con ridotte capacità
fisiche, sensoriali o mentali, o prive di esperienza o della
necessaria conoscenza, purchè sotto sorveglianza oppure
dopo che le stesse abbiano ricevuto istruzioni relative
all’uso sicuro dell’apparecchio e ai pericoli ad esso
inerenti.
I bambini non devono giocare con lo scaldasalviette.
• I bambini con meno di 3 anni devono essere tenuti
lontani dallo scaldasalviette a meno che non siano
costantemente sorvegliati.
• I bambini di età compresa tra 3 e 8 anni devono poter
solo accendere e spegnere lo scaldasalviette, a condizione
che questo sia installato nella sua posizione di normale
funzionamento e che siano supervisionati o istruiti
riguardo l’uso dell’apparecchio in modo sicuro e i possibili
relativi pericoli. I bambini di età compresa tra 3 e 8 anni
non devono collegare, regolare e pulire l’apparecchio o
eseguire operazioni di manutenzione.
• Per spegnere lo scaldasalviette premere l’interruttore o
disattivarlo dai sistemi di domotica.
• Procedure e connessioni elettriche devono essere
effettuate da tecnici qualificati nel rispetto delle norme
locali e nazionali secondo giurisdizione.
• I conduttori fissi per la connessione permanente devono
essere protetti con una guaina resistente al calore non
inferiore ai 130 °C (266 °F).
• L’installazione deve essere effettuata secondo
le istruzioni di CEADESIGN SRL da personale
professionalmente qualificato. Un’errata installazione
può causare danni a persone, animali o cose nei confronti
dei quali il costruttore non può essere considerato
responsabile.
• La sicurezza elettrica di questo apparecchio è assicurata
soltanto quando lo stesso è correttamente collegato ad
un efficace impianto di messa a terra, come previsto
dalle vigenti norme di sicurezza elettrica. È necessario
verificare questo fondamentale requisito di sicurezza
e, in caso di dubbio, richiedere un controllo accurato
dell’impianto da parte di personale professionalmente
qualificato. CEADESIGN SRL non può essere considerata
responsabile per eventuali danni causati dalla mancanza di
messa a terra dell’impianto.
• Verificare che la portata dell’impianto e delle prese di
corrente siano adeguate alla potenza massima

dell’apparecchio. In caso di dubbio rivolgersi ad una
persona professionalmente qualificata.
• Per il collegamento diretto alla rete è necessario
prevedere un dispositivo che assicuri la disconnessione
dalla rete, con una distanza di apertura dei contatti che
consenta la disconnessione completa nelle condizioni della
categoria di sovratensione III, conformemente alle regole
di installazione.
• I mezzi per la disconnessione devono essere incorporati
nel circuito elettrico fisso, in accordo con le norme
elettriche.
• Utilizzare esclusivamente l’alimentatore indicato nelle
seguenti istruzioni. CEADESIGN SRL non può essere
considerata responsabile per eventuali danni causati
dall’utilizzo di alimentatori diversi da quello indicato.
• L’alimentatore previsto può sostenere una potenza
massima di 80W (una barra L. 580 mm ha una potenza di
10W, una barra L. 1060 mm ha una potenza di 20W).
• L’alimentatore deve essere installato in posizione
verticale all’interno di una scatola di derivazione, come
indicato nel paragrafo “INSTALLAZIONE”.
• La scatola di derivazione deve avere dimensioni minime
di L 155 x H 290 x P 70 mm.
• L’alimentatore deve essere installato in un ambiente con
temperatura massima di 40 °C (104 °F).
ATTENZIONE!
• Quando si utilizzano apparecchi elettrici si devono
sempre rispettare le precauzioni basilari al fine di ridurre il
rischio fuoco, shock elettrico e danni alle persone.
• Alcune parti dello scaldasalviette potrebbero diventare
molto calde e causare scottature. Prestare particolare
attenzione in presenza di bambini o persone vulnerabili.
• Tenere fili elettrici, stoffe, mobili e altri combustibili ad
almeno 900 mm (2’ - 11 7/16”) dalla parte frontale dello
scaldasalviette.
• La barra deve essere installata ad una distanza minima da
terra di 600 mm (1’ - 11 5/8”).
• L’apparecchio non deve essere installato immediatamente
al di sotto di una presa di corrente.
• Lo scaldasalviette può emanare un cattivo odore a causa
di residui interni, o per le parti interne in plastica, poichè
lo scaldasalviette non ha liquidi all’interno ma funziona a
secco.
• Con lo scaldasalviette in funzione, non appoggiare
indumenti delicati, di seta o acrilici poichè la barra
raggiunge un’elevata temperatura quando è coperta (per
coibentazione).
• Non introdurre corpi estranei nello scaldasalviette o nei
componenti accessori al fine di evitare shock elettrici e
danni agli stessi.
• Non installare lo scaldasalviette in prossimità di
combustibili, vernici, o altro liquido infiammabile.
• Tenere lo scaldasalviette a distanza ragionevole da fonti
d’acqua (come previsto dalle normative in materia di
sicurezza elettrica) al fine di evitare shock elettrici e danni
allo scaldasalviette.
IMPORTANTE
• Se il prodotto viene accidentalmente fatto cadere o
riceve colpi violenti può subire danni anche non visibili
e diventare pericoloso, pertanto non usarlo ma farlo
verificare da CEADESIGN SRL.
• Si raccomanda di utilizzare esclusivamente ricambi
originali CEADESIGN.
• In caso di guasto e/o di cattivo funzionamento
dell’apparecchio, spegnerlo e non manometterlo.
Per l’eventuale riparazione rivolgersi solamente a
CEADESIGN SRL. Il mancato rispetto di quanto sopra
può compromettere la sicurezza dell’apparecchio.
• Allorchè si decida di non utilizzare più un apparecchio di
questo tipo, si raccomanda di renderlo inoperante.
Si raccomanda inoltre di rendere innocue quelle parti
dell’apparecchio tali da costituire un pericolo,

GENERAL WARNINGS:
this device was carefully manufactured. Its durability and
its mechanical and electrical dependability, will be greater
if it is used correctly and if maintenance is regularly
carried out.
• Read the instructions in this booklet carefully as they
give important information on the correct installation, use
and maintenance of the appliance. Keep this booklet in a
sale place so that it will be available for future reference.
• After removing the packaging check that the appliance
has not been damaged in transit. In case of doubt do not
attempt to use the appliance. Seek advice from a suitably
qualified person. Packaging materials (plastic bags,
polystyrene foam, cardboard, etc.) must be kept away from
children as they could cause harm.
• This appliance must only be used for the purpose for
which it was designed, i.e. as electric towel warmer.
All other uses must be cons idered to be potentially
dangerous. CEADESIGN SRL cannot be held responsible
for any damage caused by improper, incorrect or
unreasonable use.
• The electric towel warmer is made for indoor use only.
• Be careful when installed and used in presence of
children and disabled people.
• The electric towel warmer can be used by children over
the age of eight, by individual whose physical, sensory
capacities or mental faculties, are significantly inpaired,
or by people with no experience and the necessary
knowledge, unless they are under surveillance or they have
been given instruction on how to use safely the product
and on the inherent risks.
• Children under the age of 3, have to be kept away from
the product, unless constantly under surveillance.
• Children of between 3 and 8 years old cand be allowed

fixed wiring, in accordance with the wiring rules.
• Use only the supplied power supply in the following
instructions. CEADESIGN SRL cannot be held responsible
for any damage caused by the use of power supplies
different from the one indicated.
• The indicated power supply can support a maximum
power of 80W (one towel rail L. 580 mm has a power of
10W, one towel rail L. 1060 mm has a power of 20W).
• The power supply must be installed in a vertical
position inside the junction box, as indicated in the
“INSTRUCTION” section.
• The junction box must have the following minimal
dimensions: L 155 x H 290 x W 70 mm.
• The power supply must be installed in an environment
with a maximum of temperature of 40 °C (104 °F).
ATTENTION!
• When using electrical appliances, basic precautions
should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire,
electric shock, and injury to persons.
• Few areas of the electric towel warmer could become
very hot and cause burns. Great attention needs to be paid
in the presence of children or vulnerable people.
• Keep electrical cords, drapery, furnishings, and other
combustibles at least 900 mm (2’ - 11 7/16”) from the
front of the electric towel warmer.
• Installation have to be made so that the lowest heated
towel rail is at least 600 mm (1’ - 11 5/8”) above the floor.
• The electric towel warmer must not be installed closely
underneath of a current receptacle.
• Bad smells may be caused by residues inside the electric
towel warmer, or for the inner plastic parts, since it works
with no liquids inside (dry system).
• By working electric towel warmer, do not lay delicate,

to switch on and off the electric towel warmer only if it is
installed in its normal working status, under surveillance,
and if aknowledged on how to use it safely and on the
inherent risks. Children of between 3 and 8 years old must
not connect, set or clean the electric towel warmer and
must not fulfil the maintenance.
• To switch off the electric towel warmer, touch the
power button or deactivate it from home automation
systems.
• Wiring procedures and connections shall be in
accordance with the national and local codes having
jurisdiction.
• The conductors for fixed permanent connection must be
protected by a sheath of not less heat resistant to 130 °C
(266 °F).
• Installation must be carried out as detailed in these
instructions by a qualified person. The user is warned
that incorrect installation could cause harm to persons or
animals or damage to property. CEADESIGN SRL cannot
be held responsible in such cases.
• The electrical safety of this appliance is only guaranteed
when it is correctly installed and earthed according to the
latest issue of the I.E.E. Wiring Regulations. Conformity
with these requirements must be ensured and, in the
case of doubt, the system checked by a suitably qualified
person. CEADESIGN SRL cannot be held responsible for
any damage caused because the appliance has not been
installed and earthed correctly.
• Check that the current carrying capacity of the mains
wiring and socket are adeguate for the maximun rating
of the device. In case of doubt consult a suitable qualified
person. When installed the appliance must be protected by
a suitably fuse.
• For direct connection to the network is necessary to
provide a device that ensures the disconnection from
the network, with an opening distance of the contacts
that allow the complete disconnection in the conditions

silk or acrylic clothes: they may burn beacause the towel
rail reaches high temperature when covered (thermic
isolation!).
• Do not insert foreign bodies inside the electric towel
warmer or inside accessories in order to avoid eletric
shocks, inflammations and damages.
• Do not use the electric towel warmer close to
combustibles, paints or any other inflammable liquid.
• Keep the electric towel warmer reasonably away from
water (complying with the electrical safety regulations), in
order to avoid electric shocks, or damages to it.
IMPORTANT
• In case the appliance drops to the ground or is hardly
struck it may be damaged even if such damages are not
visible and it may become dangerous, therefore please do
not use it and apply to a CEADESIGN SRL representative
for a control.
• We recommend using only original CEADESIGN spare
parts.
• In the case of a fault and/or malfunction of the appliance,
switch it off but do not attempt to rectify. If repair is
necessary contact CEADESIGN SRL, and insist that only
CEADESIGN SRL spare parts must be used. If the above
action is not carried out the safety of the appliance could
be jeopardised.
• Should it be decided not to use this appliance any longer,
it should be rendered inoperative. It is also recommended
to make harmless those parts of the appliance which could
be harmful, especially to children who might play with the
disused appliance.

posizionata al di fuori delle zone
Z0-Z1-Z2; in conformità con le
normative in materia di sicurezza
elettrica.
Per motivi di sicurezza e per evitare
il danneggiamento del prodotto,
EQUILIBRIO deve essere installato
ad una distanza minima da terra di 600
mm rispetto all’elemento inferiore.
