The appliance is intended for professional use and only for the purpose for which it was designed, that is,
demineralization of drinking water and its subsequent use to feed steam sterilizers.

Contact with the eyes. Possible temporary irritation because of abrasive
dust.

FIRST AID
Contact with the eyes. Do not rub the eyes.
Immediately wash with plenty of running water
holding the eyelids wide open for at least 15
minutes (to remove the dust).
If necessary, seek medical advice.

skin. It may cause dehydration or slight irritation
because of abrasive dust.

wash the skin with soap and water.

INSTALLING THE OSMOTIC
MEMBRANE CARTRIDGE
A) Undo the screws (1) that secure the cover to the frame of the demineralizer using a cross-head screwdriver
(not provided).

C) Remove the safety clip (7) of the quick-coupling (8) on the head (4a) of the osmotic membrane vessel (4),
then remove the tube (9) from the coupling.
D) Using both hands, grip the membrane vessel (4) positioned horizontally in the front part of the deminerali-

E) Unscrew the head (4a) of the osmotic membrane vessel (4) using the wrench (10) contained in the acces-
sory kit.
F) Remove the protective bag of the osmotic membrane cartridge (11).
G) Insert the osmotic membrane cartridge (11) in the osmotic membrane vessel (4).
H) Screw on the head (4a) of the osmotic membrane vessel (4) using the wrench (10).

M) Reposition the demineralizer cover (2) and fasten it to the frame with the screws (1)
WARNING
DURING INSTALLATION, PUT THE PLASTIC COVER BACK ON THE DEMINERALIZER
ONLY AFTER HAVING CORRECTLY FOLLOWED THE INSTRUCTIONS FOR OPENING
AND CLOSING THE TAPS ON THE PURE 500 BODY, INDICATED IN THE PROCEDURE
“FIRST STARTING” (PAR. 5.1).

Pure 500 must be installed on the right-hand side of the autoclaves using the devices that form part of the
standard equipment of the demineralizer.
M) Take the following out of the accessory kit:
- 1 spigot union for 1/4” Ø tube
- 2 tube holding clips

P) Take the tube provided and cut 2 pieces with the following lengths:
- tube (7) = 30 cm
- tube (8) = 20 cm
Q) Fasten one end of the tube (7) to the demineralized water outlet quick-coupling of Pure 500 and then fasten
the other end to the minifilter inlet quick-coupling provided (10)..
R) Fasten the tube (8) to the minifilter outlet quick-coupling and then fasten the other end to the spigot union
for 1/4” tube (5) previously fitted on the autoclave.
S) Fit the tube holding clips in the relative seats of the quick-couplings of the demineralizer (to prevent the
tubes from accidentally slipping out).

For Pure 500 to function it needs to be connected to a mains drinking water tap using the devices supplied
standard with the demineralizer:
T) Take the following out of the accessory kit:
- the 1/2” female-3/4” male reducer;
- the safety valve (WATER BLOCK®);
- the 3/4” female terminal for 1/4” Ø tube;
- the non-return valve;
- 1 1/8” male elbow union for 1/4” Ø tube;
- the intermediate quick-coupling;
- 7 tube holding clips.
U) Fit the 1/2” female-3/4” male (25) reducer between the utility tap and the WATER BLOCK® valve (26) only
If the tap has a 3/4” male coupling, the WATER BLOCK®valve can be screwed on directly (put the reducer
(25) back in the accessory kit).
N.B. The WATER BLOCK®valve must be positioned vertically as indicated in the instruction leaflet in the
relative package.
V1) Screw the straight terminal (27) onto the 3/4” male thread on the WATER BLOCK®valve outlet.
V2) Take the tube provided and cut 3 pieces with the following lengths:
- tube (28) = 5 cm
- tube (29) = 200 cm
- tube (30) = 100 cm
V3)Fasten the tube (16) to the outlet quick-coupling of the straight terminal (15).

V5)Fasten one end of the tube (17) to the outlet quick-coupling of the non-return valve (18)
