The PowerSeeker2 unique square optical tube
design has clear advantages.
The design of the Celestron PowerSeeker2optical tube helps reflect stray light away from the user’s eye,
giving higher contrast planetary and lunar views. In addition, the square tube design maximizes the
internal tube space allowing damaging tube currents to avoid the actual optical path — this results in
clear, steady seeing. Unlike most other 60mm refractors, the PowerSeeker2 has a rotatable erect image
diagonal that makes it excellent for land viewing as well as astronomical use.
Other PowerSeeker2 features include:
• Soft carrying case holds the telescope,
mount, tripod, and all accessories
• 5x20 finderscope held by pivot arm for
convenient alignment
• Accessory tray to hold extra eyepieces
• Built-in compass to assist in terrestrial observations
• Two 1.25” eyepieces and a 3x Barlow lens for a maximum
of 525 power (PowerSeeker260) or 675 power
(PowerSeeker270)
• Coated objective lens
