The Celleden STB-3131 Bluetooth Stereo Dongle is a new concept inwireless
®
connectivity. Using the Bluetooth v1.2 standard, the STB-3131 allows for
an easy connection to all your musicplayers with great sound quality and
clarity. Using rechargeable li-ionbatteries, the STB-3131 can work
continuously for 12 hours and be rechargedvia the USB connection.
As a universal dongle, the STB-3131 supportsthe A2DP and AV profiles.
It has adapters for mini-USB, 3.5mm inputs,and the iPod. Now you can
take the output of your CD/DVD player, MP3/MP4, PDA or iPod and
convert it to streaming stereo audio viaBluetooth transmission - all in
one compact solution! It's the perfect companionfor the Celleden STB-2812
®
SoundStage Compact Stereo System or the STB-2881 Stereo Headset.
More than this, the STB-3131 can alsobe used as a standard dongle for
wireless data transfer between many types ofdevices.

Recharging
Please make sure you charge the unitfor at least 3 hrs. before thefirst use.
The unit will automatically begin recharging whenconnected to the USB
port of a PC or laptop viathe supplied adapter cable. The STB-3131 can
also be used as a regular donglein the same method.
The green LED will light up whenthe battery is being
charged. It will go off when chargingis complete, or
when the unit is disconnected.
While the unit is connected via
the Audio jack, the red LED will
flash if the battery is low.

Pairing
®
"Pairing" is the process of connectingtwo or more Bluetooth devices in
®
a trusted relationship. Please turn off anyother Bluetooth enabled
devices in the area before attempting topair the STB-3131. The unique
®
Bluetooth pairing ID of the STB-3131 can be recognizedby other
®
Bluetooth devices. After pairing successfully with another device,the
dongle will automatically be recognized each timeit's turned on (within
the 10M range).
Note: Before using the STB-3131 for streamingaudio, it has to
be paired with another device which supportsthe A2DP profile.

4. If pairing is successful, the redLED will stop flashing and only the
blue LED will remain lit. The IDof the other Bluetooth stereo device
will be stored in the memory ofthe STB-3131, so that pairing will
not be necessary the next time thedevice is used.
Pairing when used as anAV Dongle
1. Connect the STB-3131 with your PC viathe USB port and the adapter
cable (supplied). The STB-3131 will automatically begin charging
mode. The green LED will light, andthe blue LED will begin flashing.
After about 5 seconds, the red andblue LEDs will flash together and
the unit is now in pairing mode(no need to use the Control Button).
2. Put together (within 30cm) the BluetoothStereo Device that you
want to pair with the STB-3131
3. Start the search function of thestereo device to be paired with.

1. Place the STB-3131 within 30cm ofthe device you want to pair with.
2. Make sure the STB-3131 is off. Press and hold the Control Button for
about 8 seconds, until the blue andred indicators begin to flash. The
unit is now in pairing mode.

The STB-3131 will automatically pair with the stereo
device and no access code is needed. If pairing is successful, the
red LED will stop flashing and onlythe blue LED will remain lit.

The ID of the other Bluetooth stereo device will be stored in the
memory of the STB-3131, so that pairingwill not be necessary the
next time the device is used.

Note: Any Bluetooth stereo device needs to be paired
with the STB-3131 only once, and willautomatically
connect the next time the dongle isturned on.

The 3.5mm audio plug of the STB-3131 canbe swiveled 90 , making it even
more convenient to attach to many differenttypes of devices.

Note: The Control button can only functionwhen the STB-3131 is not
connected with the USB port of aPC or laptop. The Control button does

indicator flashes. The STB-3131 is now turned ONand the button can
be released. The unit is in Standbymode and will automatically connect
to any device to which it's alreadybeen paired.

Minimum System Requirement: Windows 2000 or above, 256MRAM
STB-3131 Set up
1. The STB-3131 is a plug-and-play, 3-in-1 universal dongle. No
driver or software installation is required forstreaming
audio (A2DP).
2. When the STB-3131 is connected with the USB port, the operating
system will automatically detect it.
3. The operating system will automatically completethe set up of
STB-3131. No manual set up required.
The system will add this line afterthe STB-3131 is inserted into the USB port.

1. After system set up, the STB-3131 isnow ready to enable Bluetooth

The USB dongle supports plug-and-play, with an effective distance of
10M in an open area. With a transmissionrate of 700 Kbps, it supports
wireless dial-up, LAN, fax, data transmission and synchronization

1.Start up Microsoft Windows Operating System. Pleaseclose all
other programs during installation.
2.Put the installation CD into theCD-ROM drive of your computer.
3.The system will automatically start theinstallation under normal
conditions. Please double click the CD-ROM drive iconin your system to
start installation if installation does not startautomatically.
4.Please follow the system instructions tocomplete the installation
process. A restart will be needed afterthe installation is completed.
5.After restart, the device can bedetected automatically by the
system from any USB port.

10. Please turn off the Universal Stereo Dongle before boarding any aircraft.
To prevent any interference with communication systems, please do not
use the Universal Stereo Dongle while the plane is in the air.
11. Please turn off the Universal Stereo Dongle in any area with a potentially
explosive atmosphere.
12. Please do not allow children to play with the Universal Stereo Dongle since it
contains small parts.
13. Please do not expose the rechargeable battery to extreme temperatures.
If the battery is used at low temperatures , the battery capacity will be
reduced.
14. The rechargeable battery has a long life if treated properly.

3. Please note that only authorized Celleden dealers or service partners should
remove and/or replace the rechargeable battery, or any other components.
4. Please use Celleden original accessories only. Use of non-Celleden original
accessories may result in damage, loss of performance to the dongle,
injury, electric shock or even fire.
5. Please do not expose the Universal Stereo Dongle to extreme high or low temperatures,
moisture or fluid.
6. Please do not drop, throw or bend the Universal Stereo Dongle as rough treatment will
damage it .
7. If the Universal Stereo Dongle will not be used for a while, please store it in a place
where it is dry, free from dust, and not prone to extreme temperature
fluctuations.
8. RF frequency and energy may affect some electronic systems in a motor
vehicle. Please check with the manufacturer to ensure that the Universal
Stereo Dongle will not affect the electronic systems in the motor vehicle.
9. Some medical electronic equipment may not be shielded from RF energy.
Therefore, please do not use the Universal Stereo Dongle near medical equipment
without permission.
