Important Safety Information
1. Do not exceed Scale’s 11 LB. /
176 OZ. / 5,000 G max. weight
capacity. An “ERR” will appear on
digital display if scale is overloaded.
2. Do not mix old and new
batteries. Do not mix alkaline,
standard (carbon-zinc), or
rechargeable (nickel-cadmium)
batteries. Position batteries
in proper polarity. Do not use
swollen or leaking batteries.
3. This product is not a toy.
Do not allow children to play
with or near this item.
4. Weight readings are for
household use only. Do not
use for commerce or trade.
5. Inspect before every use; do not
use if parts are loose or damaged.

Note: Place Scale in sheltered area
when in use as air movement and
breathing on Scale will affect accuracy.
Always place objects on platform gently.
Installing/Replacing Batteries
1. Turn Scale on its side.
Remove battery compartment
cover by pressing tab towards
cover and lifting it off.
2. Insert four “AA” batteries
into battery compartment.
Be sure to align batteries with
corresponding polarity.
3. Replace battery
compartment cover.
Using Adaptor
NOTE: The Digital Scale can also
be operated with the AC Adaptor
that is included with the Scale.
1. Connect the Adaptor plug to
the receptacle located at the
rear of the Digital Scale.
2. Plug the Adaptor into the
wall outlet. The Digital Scale
is ready for operation.

Operation
1. Place the Digital Scale on a
flat surface in the work area.
2. Press the ON/TARE button once.
The Scale will start operating.
When “0” “and” “ 0 ” appear
on the digital display, the
Scale is ready for weighing.
3. Gently place item to be weighed
on platform. The weight will
appear on the display.
4. When weighing substances that
must be put into a container
(such as powders or liquids), place
empty container on Scale platform.
Press ON/TARE button.
The digital display will return
to zero, adjusted to ignore
weight of empty container and
only weigh contents.
A “ 0 ” readout will appear in
lower left corner of display.
5. Place contents into container.
The weight of contents only will
appear on the digital display.
6. To turn off Scale, press the OFF
button. The Scale is also equipped
with an auto shut-off function.
The scale will automatically turn off
40 seconds after item is weighed.
Changing Weight Unit
1. When turning on Digital Scale,
the default weight unit is
always “g” (grams).
2. When there is no item on the
platform, the “g” indicator on the
upper right corner of the digital
display will light on and point to “g”.
3. Press MODE to change weight
unit from “g” to “oz” (ounces)
or to “lb” (pounds).
Calibrating the Scale
1. To Calibrate, or balance, Scale,
press CAL for three seconds.
Once the display shows “CAL”,
stop pressing button.
2. Press CAL button again. Place an
item that weighs exactly 5.5 lb.
(2500 G) on scale. Press CAL
button again. The display will show
“0”. Keep the item on the platform
3. Place another item weighing 5.5 lb.
on platform. Press CAL again. The
display will show “ACC”, meaning
the Scale is successfully calibrated.
Troubleshooting
1. Digital display flashes “LO”:
Battery charge is low.
Replace battery or use Adaptor
to ensure accuracy.
2. Display doesn’t respond
to controls:
Circuit needs to be reset.
Remove the battery,
wait 30 seconds, replace battery
and turn the Scale “ON”.
3. Display does not show:
Battery has poor connection
or battery voltage is too low.
Take battery out and adjust
connections. Replace the battery
as necessary or use Adaptor.

product is free from defects in materials and workmanship for the period of 90 days
from the date of purchase. This warranty does not apply to damage due directly or
indirectly, to misuse, abuse, negligence or accidents, repairs or alterations outside
our facilities, criminal activity, improper installation, normal wear and tear, or to lack of
maintenance. We shall in no event be liable for death, injuries to persons or property,
or for incidental, contingent, special or consequential damages arising from the use
of our product. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or
consequential damages, so the above limitation of exclusion may not apply to you.
THIS WARRANTY IS EXPRESSLY IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS
OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS.
To take advantage of this warranty, the product or part must be returned to us
with transportation charges prepaid. Proof of purchase date and an explanation
of the complaint must accompany the merchandise. If our inspection verifies
the defect, we will either repair or replace the product at our election or we may
elect to refund the purchase price if we cannot readily and quickly provide you
with a replacement. We will return repaired products at our expense, but if we
determine there is no defect, or that the defect resulted from causes not within the
scope of our warranty, then you must bear the cost of returning the product.
