Maintaining your Scale
Postal Rate Changes
Your TP2000 Postal Scale contains a ‘rate chip’ (accessible from the
compartment underneath the scale) which is pre-programmed with the
postal carriers’ services and tariffs.
When the postal rates change, you can obtain a new rate chip from your
dealer. This section describes how to change the rate chip in your TP2000
Postal Scale.
Check the New Chip
Before changing your rate chip, please ensure the replacement is
compatible with your scale. If you are in any doubt, contact your dealer
before continuing.
Always switch off the scale and disconnect the mains supply before
changing your rate chip!

SUCH DAMAGE IS NOT COVERED BY
MAINTENANCE OR WARRANTY ARRANGEMENTS.
If, after fitting the new rate chip, the scale does not function correctly,
check that the chip and carrier are fully seated in the socket. It may be
necessary to remove and refit the new rate chip by following the steps
above.
Keyboard Updates
Updates to the TP2000 keyboard are supplied in 2 different formats:

Complete keyboard overlay
In the case of key stickers, simply remove the protective backing from the
individual stickers, and affix appropriately.
