C-Series SSD Drives
SSD Migration Software
Thank you for purchasing Centon’s SSD Notebook upgrade kit. All hardware
and software necessary to replace your internal hard drive with your new
Solid State Drive (SSD) has been included in this kit. The software provided
will copy all the content from your current hard drive and load it onto the
new SSD drive. Once this process is complete, your hard drive can then be
used as an external USB drive for extra data storage.
*Note: If the drive you are replacing is larger than your new SSD drive, the
software provided with this kit will allow you to exclude content from copying
in order to fit the destination disk. In the event that you are copying from a
smaller drive, the software will allow you to choose whether or not to use
the entire SSD drive for the copying process or to split the disk into multiple
partitions/drives.

SSD Migration Software
Thank you for purchasing Centon’s SSD Notebook upgrade kit. All hardware
and software necessary to replace your internal hard drive with your new
Solid State Drive (SSD) has been included in this kit. The software provided
will copy all the content from your current hard drive and load it onto the
new SSD drive. Once this process is complete, your hard drive can then be
used as an external USB drive for extra data storage.
*Note: If the drive you are replacing is larger than your new SSD drive, the
software provided with this kit will allow you to exclude content from copying
in order to fit the destination disk. In the event that you are copying from a
smaller drive, the software will allow you to choose whether or not to use

Installing the Migration Software
1. Insert the Centon SSD Migration CD into your systems CD-ROM drive.
2. Launch Paragon-198-PEE_WinInstallSNU_10.0.17.13028_000.msi to
install Paragon Migrate OS to SSD™ and follow through the prompts to
finish the installation.
Migrate your OS to SSD
1. Begin by connecting the USB Enclosure with the USB 3.0 cable to your
notebook. Give your computer a few moments to install the system
drivers.
2. Launch Paragon Migrate OS to SSD™ by double-clicking the icon from
your desktop.
3. Migration software will now analyze your systems connected hard
drives.
4. Verify that the correct operating system is being copied and that the
destination drive is correct.
Note: If the drive being copied is larger than the SSD drive, click Please
select what folders should be copied and exclude some of your content
in order to guarantee a successful migration.
5. If you would like to use the entire SSD as a single disk check the Use all
available space for the partition with OS option. If you would like to have
unused space for separate storage, please leave this box unchecked.
Click Copy to continue.
6. If you had previously formatted the SSD in your system or copied data
to the drive, you will be presented with a screen verifying that all content
on the SSD drive will be removed. Check the Yes, format target disk and
delete all data on it option and click Next to continue.
7. Please wait while the migration software duplicates your operating sys-
tem to your new SSD drive.
8. You’re Done! Congratulations your drive has now been duplicated to
your new SSD drive. Please continue to the Swapping your Hard Drive
section to continue installing your new SSD drive.
Swapping your Hard Drive
1. Now that your hard drive has been duplicated lets begin by shutting
down/turning off your notebook.
2. Using your Phillips head screw driver, remove the outer screw from the
USB enclosure, remove the top casing, and slide the SSD drive out.
3. With your notebook off and flipped over, remove the screws from the
hard-drive cover (for location information, reference your notebooks user
manual)
4. Pull the hard drive/bracket from the notebook. Note: Their may be a pull
tab to make this easier.
5. Remove the screws holding the hard drive in the enclosure and replace
it with your new SSD drive.
6. Re-insert the SSD & Bracket into your notebook and securely fasten the
hard-drive cover and screws.
7. Connect the removed hard-drive to the USB3.0 enclosure connector and
re-attach into USB enclosure top casing.
8. Fasten the outer screw to finish assembling USB kit
9. You’re Done! Boot up your machine and take your SSD for a spin. Once
up and running connect your USB drive to an available USB port.
