ARMS, HOWEVER BOTH SUPPORT ARMS MUST BE BOLTED INTO THE STUDS OF THE WALL. BOLTING
THE PRODUCT TO DRYWALL ALONE IS NOT SUFFICIENT AND COULD RESULT IN INJURY TO PERSONS
AND/OR WATERCRAFT. USE THE CHART BELOW FOR APPROXIMATE PLACEMENT AND ADJUST SPACING

Using the spacing chart on page 2,
determine the approximate distance needed
between the two Hull-Hugger Support Arms (A),
then locate the studs where each arm will be
mounted and determine the desired height.

Once the desired height is found, trace the four
Lag Bolt holes on the wall using a pencil.

Using an electric drill, make a pilot hole
through the wall and into the stud at each
of the four marked spots.
Add a Washer (E) to each Lag Bolt (D).

Repeat steps 2 - 5 for securing the second Support Arm.
To ensure the Support Arms will be straight, use the same
height measurement as the first Support Arm.

Feed the Cam Buckle Strap (B) through
the Cam Buckle Cover (C), leaving the
cam buckle exposed at the end.

Loop the Cam Buckle Strap (B) through the top
of the first Support Arm (A) and knot.
Hold the Support Arm (A) in place.
Using an electric drill or socket wrench,
affix the support arm to the wall using four
(4) 13mm Lag Bolts and Washers.
NOTE: Depending on the wall being used,
additional hardware may be required (not
included).

Insert strap end into the cam buckle.
Pull down to tighten completely until watercraft is
secure, then slide the Cam Buckle Cover (C)
over the cam buckle to protect watercraft during
use.
Repeat steps 7-10 for securing the watercraft to
the second Support Arm (A).

With both pivoting Support Arms (A) in the down
position, load the watercraft.
Hang the cam buckle end of the strap up and
over the watercraft as shown.
Feed the end of Cam Buckle Strap (B) up
through the pivoting Support Arm (A).
If you are not going to secure your watercraft when loaded onto the
Hull-Hugger™, the included Cam Buckle Straps (B) can be looped through each of the
Support Arms to hold an additional watercraft (total system weight limit is 125 lbs.)
under the Hull-Hugger™. Follow steps 12-15 to use Cam Buckle Straps (B) for holding
an additional watercraft.

If using the included Cam Buckle Straps
(B) to store an additional kayak
underneath your Hull-Hugger™, prior to
loading the first watercraft onto the
Support Arms (A), feed the Cam Buckle
Strap (B) through the Cam Buckle Cover
(C), leaving the cam buckle exposed at the
end.
Feed the end of Cam Buckle Strap (B) up
through the first strap loop on the Support
Arm (A) and then down through the
second strap loop on the Support Arm (A)
as shown.
Insert the strap end into the cam buckle
and pull to create a loop as shown.
Slide the Cam Buckle Cover over the cam
buckle to protect watercraft during storage.

Repeat steps 12 –14 to install the second
Cam Buckle Strap (B) to the second
Hull-Hugger Support Arm (A) then load
kayak as shown.
CAUTION
Always be sure to check ALL straps and hardware before use and
tighten if needed.
If straps become worn or frayed, replace them by visiting
rolaproducts.com or contacting ROLA at the number below.
