IP CAMERA
These instructions should be read in conjunction with your System Installation
and Operating Manual and be retained for future reference.
The IP Camera is designed to monitor where it is installed, and send the images to
the main device (ASFK1 Smart Force Hub). The recording function will be activated if
an event is triggered under warning conditions. The user may also activate the
recording function through the Cloud Based user interface through a connected PC or
suitable device.

Installation
Note before installation:
Ensure the unit is installed within transmission range of all devices that it would need
to communicate with. Please carefully read and follow the steps in the Safety and
Operation Manual before installing the IP Camera to prevent from damage due to
erroneous installation.
Please do not impact the device or let it fall. The camera contains sensitive
components.
Please do not install the device near fire source or heat source as it may
damage the device.
Please install the device in a well ventilated place and do not cover.
Please do not install the device in humid areas or exposed to rain or moisture.
Please do not touch the power connections with wet hands to prevent the risk of
short circuit, electric shock, or fire.
Please do not damage or apply pressure to the power cable as this may cause a
fire or short circuit.
To prevent the risk of shock, please do not disassemble the device (or
backboard).
There are no spare/serviceable replacement parts. Misuse and neglect may damage
this device. Please have a qualified technician to maintain and repair.
Please stop operations is a problem is found.
If this device stops operating, please contact a qualified engineer.
Fix the camera to the stand.
Connect Ethernet cable to the RJ-45 port on the back of the camera and plug
the other end in to the Gateway Hub.
Plug in the power cable.
After the power is connected the IP camera will automatically power on. Please wait a
few seconds.
Operation
1. Log into the system screen.
Challenger_ASFCAM1_Instructions_Rev02
2. Select “System”.
3. Select “Add a New Device”.
4. Select “Camera”.
5. Enter the “Access Code” this code is
on the label underneath the camera
and press “Next”.
6. The screen below will appear if the process is successful.
7. Camera status can be seen in “System”.
Note:
1. Please do not restore/default the camera until its firmware has been upgraded as it
may cause malfunctions.
2. Please confirm what the IP camera system requires before making any changes.
