1.1 instaLLinG the MetaL D-rinGs
A. Removetheboltsfromtheaccessorymountsonthe
child carrier.
B. ReplacetheboltsthroughthemetalD-ringsinto
theaccessorymounts.MakesuretheD-ringsare
pointinginwardsonceinstalled.
1.2 instaLLinG the Foot straP
Thefollowinginstructionsonlyapplyfordoubleoccupant
child carriers.
A. InsertthefootstrapthroughbothoftheplasticD-rings.
B. InsertthefootstrapthroughoneofthemetalD-rings.
Insert it from the outside pointing into the child
compartment.
C. Insertthefootstrapbackthroughbothofthe
plasticD-rings.
D. InsertthefootstrapthroughtheothermetalD-ring.
Insert it from the inside pointing out of the child
compartment.
E. Attach the ends of the foot strap together and pull it tight.
WARNING
Regularly check to make sure the D-rings are
securely attached to the accessory mounts.

WARNING
Check to make sure the foot strap and
plastic D-rings have been properly installed
before attaching the Baby Bivy to them.
NOTICE
If you nd it difcult to insert or remove
the handlebar from the child carrier after
installing the foot strap, loosen the foot
strap slightly.

1.4 aDaPtinG the BaBy Bivy
A. Whenyourinfantiswearingbulkierclothingthe
paddedinsertcanberemovedtomakemoreroom
insidetheBabyBivy.
B. Toenlargetheopeningthefrontcanbepartially
unzippedandtuckedinsidetheBabyBivy.
C. The length of both of the carrying straps can be
adjusted for your comfort.
1.3 securinG the BaBy Bivy
A. Unbucklethewaistbeltandadjusteachofthestraps
until they are as short as they can be.
B. PlacetheBabyBivyinsidethechildcompartment.
Makesuretheheadattachmentsarepointing
towardsthewaistbeltandthefootlatchesare
pointingtowardstheD-rings.
C. Attach both of the head attachments to the carrier
usingeitherthewaistbeltorD-rings(CXandChinook).
D. LatchbothofthefootlatchesontotheD-rings.
E. ToremovetheBabyBivy,unlatchthefootlatchesand
head attachments. WARNING
Never leave your child unattended in the
child carrier.
Regularly check on the comfort and
temperature of your child.
This product may not be completely adequate
for very cold weather; additional blankets may
be required.
Always dress your child appropriately for
the weather.
This product should only be used with the carrier.

WARNING
Check to make sure the Baby Bivy has been
properly attached before releasing the parking
brake and strolling with your child carrier.
NOTICE
If you nd the interior space too small for
the Baby Bivy, the padded seat insert can
be removed from many of the child carriers
to make more room.
