Before Using For The First Time
•Clean the interior of Coffee Percolator & Accessories with warm soapy
water and rinse thoroughly
Operation
•Remove all packaging including all protective plastic, from your
Chefmaster Coffee Percolator
•Position on a flat surface
•Fill the urn with cool water until at least half way
•Fill the Filter basket with medium or percolator ground coffee. Suggest
to use 350g –500g coffee for 10 litres of water. Adjust the amount of
coffee use according to your own preference
•Slide the Basket tray onto the Percolator tube & place the foot of the
tube centrally into the well inside the urn, then slide the Filter basket
with cover onto the Percolator tube
•Replace the lid
•Plug the unit into mains and turn it on
•The brewing process is completed when green light comes on. The
percolator will start to keep warm automatically
•The coffee is now ready to be served by pulling the tap towards you.
Move the tap to the closed position to stop.
•Prevent boil dry & always switch off the product when about 5 cups of
coffee are left
Cleaning & Maintenance
•Before cleaning disconnect the Coffee Percolator from the electricity
supply
•Clean the interior of Coffee Percolator & Accessories with warm soapy
water and rinse thoroughly. The exterior of urn should only be cleaned
with damp cloth
•DO NOT submerge the Coffee Percolator in water or use water sprays
to clean it
•Always clean your Chefmaster Coffee Percolator daily
De-scaling
In hard water area’s lime scale can build up, to de-scale the unit -
•Add de-scaler and water to the Coffee Percolator as the per the
instructions on the de-scaler
•Clean the interior carefully with a soft brush
•Remove the water and de-scaler solution from the Coffee Percolator
