SAFETY TIPS
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should
always be followed, including the following:
1. Read all Instructions.
2. Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs.
3. To protect against ire, electric shock, and injury to persons,
do not immerse cord, plugs, or base in water or other liquid.
4. Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by
or near children.
5. Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning.
Allow to cool before putting on or taking off parts, and before
cleaning the appliance.
6. Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug,
after the appliance malfunctions, or has been damaged in any
manner.
7. The use of accessory attachments not recommended by the
appliance manufacturer may result in ire, electric shock, or
injury to persons.
8. Do not use outdoors.
9. Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter, or to touch
hot surfaces.
10. Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a
heated oven.
11. Always attach plug to appliance irst, then plug cord into
the wall outlet. To disconnect, turn any control to “off” then
remove plug from wall outlet.
12. Do not use this appliance for anything other than intended
use.
13. Scalding may occur if the lid is removed during the brewing
cycles.
14. This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than
the other). To reduce the risk of electric shock, this plug is
intended to it into a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug
does not it fully into the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still
does not it, contact a qualiied electrician. Do not attempt to
modify the plug in any way.

All service should be performed by an authorized service representative.

OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Open the cover and pour water into the kettle. Do not ill
past the “Max” water level line.
2. Put the cover on the kettle and set the kettle on its base.
3. Press the power switch. The LED light will turn on to indicate
that the kettle is heating.
4. The LED will turn off when heating is complete.
CARE & CLEANING:
• Remember to unplug the kettle before cleaning.
• Do not use steel wool, chemicals or any abrasive cleaner.
• Do not immerse the bottom of the kettle or the power base
in water.
• Regular descaling prolongs the life of the kettle and limits
the risk of premature breakdown. It is suggested to descale
once every 3 months if you use soft water and once a month
if you use hard water.
• Follow instructions below to descale your kettle using natural
agents.
1. Fill the kettle halfway with a solution of equal parts cold
water and a natural descaling agent (juice of one fresh
lemon, lime, or white vinegar). Remember to not ill past the
"Max" ill line.
2. Bring the solution to a boil and allow the solution to sit in the
kettle for 30 mins to 1 hour.
3. Empty the kettle and rinse the interior under cold water. Any
lingering limescale can be wiped away with a clean, damp
cloth.
4. To prevent any vinegary or citric aftertaste from seeping into
future cups of tea or coffee, ill the kettle halfway with cold
water and bring it to a boil to deodorize it.
5. Discard the water and air-dry the kettle before next use.
