IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should
always be followed, including the following:
1. READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS
2. Check that the voltage in your home corresponds to that stated
on the rating la el of the appliance.
3. Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles or kno s.
4. To protect against electrical shock do not immerse ase, cord,
plug, or the jug kettle in water or other liquids.
5. Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used y or
near children.
6. Unplug from outlet when not in use and efore cleaning. Allow to
cool efore putting on or taking off parts.
7. Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or
after the appliance malfunctions or has een damaged in any
manner. Return appliance to the nearest authorized service
facility for examination, repair, or adjustment.
8. The use of accessory attachments not recommended y the

9. Do not use outdoors.
10. Do not let cord hang over edge of ta le or counter, or touch hot
surfaces.
11. Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric urner, or in a

12. To disconnect, put the switch in off position, then remove plug
from wall outlet.
13. Do not use appliance for other than intended use.
14. Scalding may occur if the lid of the jug kettle is removed during
the heating cycles.
15. Make sure the appliance never comes into contact with
inflamma le materials such as curtains, textiles ..., when it is in use
as they might catch fire.
16. When removing mineral deposit, only use special products
formulated for the removal of mineral deposit (decalcifying

solutions). Never use ammonia or any other su stance that might
damage your health.
17. Do NOT use a rasive cleaners to clean the inside or outside of the
kettle, to avoid permanent damage to the surface.
18. Ensure that the kettle is properly positioned on the power ase
efore switching on.
19. Do NOT refill with water while the appliance is switched on.
20. Remove the kettle from power ase efore filling or pouring. If the
ase ecomes wet, unplug the kettle from the power outlet and
switch off. After it has ecome dry, you may replace the kettle on
the ase, after ensuring that the kettle is switched off.
21. Use the kettle only with the power ase supplied and vice versa.
22. Use on a hard, flat level surface only.
23. Do not place the ase of your kettle in a metal tray. If water spills
over in to the tray, and a uild-up occurs, it could ecome
dangerous to touch.
24. If the kettle is overfilled, oiling water may e ejected.
25. Extreme caution must e used when handling or moving kettle
and pouring from the kettle containing oiling water.
26. Before pouring, wait until the kettle has stopped oiling and then
pour steadily. If the kettle is tipped too much, the lid may fall off
or open.
27. Make sure that the lid and the filter are correctly and securely
fitted efore switching on the appliance. Failure to do so will
cause the kettle not to switch off, and oiling water might eject
through the spout causing scalding or injuries.
28. When pouring a large quantity of hot water, pour slowly and do
not incline the kettle past the horizontal line to avoid urns and
injuries.
29. When you are done using the appliance, switch it off and unplug
the power cord from the wall socket.
30. WARNING: a cordless kettle must never e filled on its ase.
31. NEVER use the appliance to oil anything other than water.
32. NEVER use near a flame or hot surface.
33. NEVER put any part of the hand or ody near the appliance
when switched on. Steam is invisi le and will cause scalding or
injury.
34. NEVER use the appliance if it has een dropped on the floor or
damaged in any way.

3-PRONG PLUG INSTRUCTIONS
For your personal safety, this appliance must e grounded. This
appliance is equipped with a power supply cord having a 3-prong
grounding plug. To minimize possi le shock hazard, the cord must e
plugged into a mating 3-prong, grounding type, wall receptacle,
grounded in accordance with the National Electrical Code
ANSI/NFPA 70 latest edition and all local codes and ordinances. If a
mating wall receptacle is not availa le, it is the personal
responsi ility and o ligation of the customer to have a properly
grounded, 3-prong, wall receptacle installed y a qualified
electrician.
SHORT CORD INSTRUCTIONS
A short power supply cord is provided to reduce the hazards resulting
from ecoming entangled in, or tripping over a longer cord.
Extension cords may e used if care is exercised in their use.
• The extension cord should e a grounding type 3-wire cord.
• The electrical rating of the extension cord should e at least that
of the appliance. If the electrical rating of the extension cord is
too low, it could overheat and urn.
• The resulting extended cord should e arranged so that it will not
drape over the counter top or ta letop where it can e pulled
on y children or tripped over.



EFORE THE FIRST OPERATION
For the perfect taste, operate the cordless water kettle with fresh
water in order to clean any residue left from the manufacturing
process. When the appliance has cooled down, repeat the process
3 times with fresh water, efore rinsing.

OPERATION
• Always remove the kettle from the power ase (1) efore filling it
or efore any operation.
• Open the lid (5) y pressing on the lid opening utton (4) and fill
the tank with fresh water, paying attention not to fill under the
minimum mark or a ove the maximum mark indicated on the
glass housing of the kettle (7).
• Close the lid y pressing it down until it you hear a click. Make
sure it closes correctly.
• Make sure the spout filter is well in position, as else the auto-shut
off feature might not work.
• Put the kettle onto the power ase (1), plug into the wall socket,
and switch on using the digital control panel (3) on the handle.
• To oil water : simply press on the “Boil” utton ( ) once, the light
ring (8) will come on with a red color, indicating that the
appliance is operating.
• To heat water at a selected temperature, press the temperature
setting utton (c) repeatedly, until selecting the temperature you
want. The light ring (8) will display a different color for each
temperature setting: green (140
o
F / 60
o
C), lue (160
o
F / 70
o
C),
yellow (175
o
F/80
o
C) and purple (195
o
F / 90
o
C). The corresponding
LED light (a) will light on.
• If the light ring (8) does not come on, check if the kettle is
positioned correctly on the ase, and check if the ase is
plugged in.
• Do not open the lid while the water is heating or oiling.
• The cordless water kettle will switch off automatically when the
water oils (100
o
C/212
o
F) or when the selected temperature has
een reached. A ” eep” will sound indicating the temperature
has een reached and the kettle is switching off. However, you
can stop the appliance anytime y pressing the off utton ( ) or
y lifting the kettle from the power ase.
CAUTION: Make sure that the lid is closed and the filter is correctly
and securely fitted efore switching on the appliance. Failure to do
so will cause the kettle not to switch off!
• For instant re- oiling, wait until water has cooled down and
switch on the appliance again.



• The kettle will not re- oil until the kettle is not switched on again.
• To keep the water warm: this convenient function keeps the water
near oiling temperature at all times. To select this function, keep
the “Boil/Off/Keep Warm” utton ( ) pressed for more than one
second. The light ring (8) is linking red, indicating the kettle is on
and the keep warm function is activated. When the water oils the
kettle will eep and shut-off temporarily, and when the water
temperature will have dropped down to a certain level, the kettle
will start oiling the water again to keep it warm at all times.
ATTENTION: to use the keep warm function, always make sure the
water level is a ove the “MIN” level line to make sure that the kettle
will properly shut off after the water has reached oiling point.
• To stop the keep warm feature, simply switch the kettle off, select a
new temperature, or lift the kettle from its power ase.
• The kettle may e stored on the power ase when not in use.
• Always disconnect the power supply when not in use.
• When pouring a large quantity of hot water, pour slowly and do
not incline the kettle past the horizontal line to avoid urns and
injuries.
SAFETY CUT-OUT
• This cordless water kettle is protected with an automatic safety
device, if accidentally switched on without water in the kettle.
• If this happens, switch off the appliance y putting the switch in
the OFF position and wait a out 10 minutes for the element to
cool. Then pour in sufficient cold water to cover the element. This
will reset the safety device.
• The kettle may then e used as normal.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
• Before attempting any cleaning operation, make sure the
appliance is unplugged from the supply socket and fully cooled
down.
• To clean the exterior surfaces, simply wipe over with a soft, damp
cloth and dry thoroughly.



• Never use a rasive products, powders or scouring pads.
• Under no circumstances shall the jug kettle or its power ase e
immersed in water.
• To remove mineral deposits from the water kettle, use products
(decalcifying solutions) made especially availa le for this
purpose. Make sure to use a type recommended for kettles or
coffee makers. Follow the guidelines as recommended y the
manufacturer of the de-calcifying solution. Rinse well.
FILTER
• Your appliance is provided with a mesh filter. This filter is factory
pre-installed efore the spout.
• The filter is placed in front of the spout. Filter should e rinsed
clean regularly. For this, press the filter out, rinse under water, and
put it ack into position once clean.
• Please clean the filter on a regular asis, to avoid mineral deposit.



WARRANTY
We suggest that you complete and return the enclosed Product
Registration Card promptly to facilitate verification of the date of
original purchase. However, return of the Product Registration Card is
not a condition of these warranties. You can also fill out this warranty
card online, at the following address: www.KALORIK.com
This KALORIK product is warranted in the U.S.A. for 1 year from the
date of purchase against defects in material and workmanship. This
warranty is not transfera le. Keep the original sales receipt. Proof of
purchase is required to o tain warranty performance.
During this period, if the KALORIK product, upon inspection y
KALORIK, is proven defective, it will e repaired or replaced, at
Kalorik’s option, without charge to the customer. If a replacement
product is sent, it will carry the remaining warranty of the original
product.
This warranty does not apply to any defect arising from a uyer's or
user's misuse of the product, negligence, failure to follow KALORIK
instructions noted in the user’s manual, use on current or voltage
other than that stamped on the product, wear and tear, alteration
or repair not authorized y KALORIK, or use for commercial purposes.
There is no warranty for glass parts, glass containers, filter asket,
lades and agitators, and accessories in general. There is also no
warranty for parts lost y the user.
ANY WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS WITH RESPECT TO
THIS PRODUCT IS ALSO LIMITED TO THE ONE YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY
PERIOD.
Some states do not allow limitation on how long an implied warranty
lasts or do not allow the exclusion of incidental or consequential
damages, so the a ove limitations may not apply to you. This
warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other
rights which vary from state to state.



If the appliance should ecome defective within the warranty
period and more than 30 days after date of purchase, do not return
the appliance to the store: often, our Customer Service
Representatives can help solve the pro lem without having the
product serviced. If servicing is needed, a Representative can
