1.1 General safety
•Keep the nstructon manual for future use. Should
a thrd party be gven the applance, please ensure
the nstructon manual s ncluded.
•Never use the applance n the bath, shower or
over a wash basn flled wth water; nor should t
be operated wth wet hands.
•Do not mmerse the applance n water or let t come
nto contact wth water, even durng cleanng.
•Clean all parts before usng the applance for the
frst tme. “Cleanng and mantenance” secton, see
detals.
•Man swtch should always be at “0” poston when
no water s avalable n the kettle or when t s not
used.
•Amount of water nsde the kettle shall be between
tap level and maxmum sgn (0,5 to 3 L). Excessve
water may overflow whle bolng. Ensure that the
water level s not below tap level, add more water
when t s reduced.

•When you want to pour the water boled n the
applance to another vessel, swtch off and pull
out the plug frst then remove the upper crcle and
hold the applance from both handles and pour the
water to the tap sde takng care as the water shall
be hot.
•Never put anythng other than water nsde the
kettle.
•Protect your hands from the vapor of bolng water
and always hold the applance from ts handles.
•If not already present, for addtonal protecton
t s recommend to nstall a resdual-current-
operated protectve devce (RCD) wth a rated
resdual operatng current not exceedng 30 mA
n the electrcal crcut of your bathroom. Ask your
plumber for advce.
•Ensure that the ar-nducton and output openngs
are not covered durng operaton.
•The applance s equpped wth an overheatng
protecton system.

•Pull out the power plug after use. Do not dsconnect
the plug by pullng on the cable.
•Never use the applance f t or the power cord s
vsbly damaged.
•If the power cord s damaged, t must be replaced
by the manufacturer, ts servce centre or a smlarly
qualfed person to prevent danger arsng.
•When the bolng swtch s open ( poston),
teapot or ld shall always be avalable on the kettle
compartment. Otherwse, the applance wll fal
to sense the bolng of the water and shall not
return to energy savng poston wth bolng stll
contnung.
•Donotopentheapplanceunderanycrcumstances.
No warranty clams are accepted for damage
caused by ncorrect handlng.
•Never place the applance on soft cushons or
blankets durng operaton.
•The applance s desgned for household use only.
•Always keep the applance out of the reach of
chldren.

be made by chldren wthout supervson.
•Poston the Teapot so that steam s drected away
from the handle.
•Do not remove the Ld/ Teapot whle the water s
bolng. Ensure that kettle contaner covered by Ld
and Teapot properly.

and Electronc Equpment Regulaton and
dsposal of the applance.
This product do not include any hazardous and/or prohibited
materials defined in the Waste Electrical and Electronic
Equipment Regulation issued by the Ministry of Environment and
UrbanPlanning. Complieswith theWaste Electricaland Electronic
Equipment Regulation. This product is manufactured with high
quality components and materials that can be recycled and reused. For
this reason, do not dispose of this product together with domestic or
other wastes. Instead, leave the appliance in a recycling collection point
designed for electric and electronic equipments. Ask the local authority
about such collection points. You can contribute protection of the
environment and natural resources by delivering used electronic products
for recycling.

3 General Information before Use
•Samovar s a practcal applance
desgned for brewng tea n
the conventonal sense. It bols
water n a short tme when t
s operated and then t returns
to keepng the water n bolng
poston automatcally savng the
energy consumpton about 90%.
•Ths poston bols the water
at mnmum level and both
prevents unnecessary bolng
and keeps the tea n the teapot
hot contnuously and saves
energy.
•When more water s added to
the kettle, the bolng swtch s
turned on agan to bol the water
n a short tme.
•When the water s boled, heatng
s brought to the mnmum level
agan and water s kept at bolng.
•Brefly, bolng swtch s turned
on wth the man flter when
water s added to the kettle and
man swtch s turned off when
you are done wth servng tea.
•In the meantme, mnmum
energy consumpton settng for
keepng the bolng teapot hot s
performed automatcally by the
applance.

WARNING:
Do not turn on the
man swtch wthout
water n the kettle or
when the water level
s below the tap le-
vel. Man swtch shall
be turned off when
there s no water left
nsde.
•Applance s protected wth
two thermostats aganst these
condtons for safety purposes;
these thermostats open the
crcut when no more water s
left and t starts to operate when
water s added.
•Samovar may also be used as a
kettle n the ktchen. Kettle ld
or teapot, even f t s empty,
shall be placed over the kettle
compartment n ths case.
•Keepng the water contnuously
bolng n the energy savng
poston, the applance provdes
bolng water ready whle you are
dong your work n the ktchen.

4.1 Makng Tea
1. Unwnd the supply cord around
the skrt compartment of your
applance n the requred length
and plug t to a grounded outlet.
It would provde ease of use
to keep the power cord length
short and reduce trp.
2. Place the drp cap rght under the
plotlghtsothatmarkedpartsare
algned wth each other. Drp cap
shall prevent last drop of water
n the tap or water overflowng
from the glass wettng your
counter. You can just remove the
drp cap to dran t.
3. Add water to the kettle
compartment between tap level
and maxmum sgn as per the
amount of tea you would lke to
brew.

bolng, avalable amount of
water s kept ready for a long
tme wthout beng vaporzed
away.
•To pour the boled water to
another vessel, swtch off and pull
out the plug frst then remove the
upper crcle and hold the applance
from both handles and pour the
water to the tap sde takng care
as the water shall be hot.

the teapot ld. Place adequate
amount of tea to the flter and
pour some cold water over t and
then place t n the teapot.
5. Turn on the applance by placng
man swtch to poston (I) bolng
swtch to ( ) poston.
6. Red plot lamp shall be llumnated
and water shall start to heat up.
7. Dependng on the amount of
water added, t wll start to bol
n 3 to 10 mnutes and bolng
shall return to off ( ) poston
automatcally and reduce the
heatng power n order to keep
the water bolng at mnmum
level and save energy. At ths
pont, red plot lght shall be
turned off and green lght shall
llumnate.

8. Brew the tea wth boled water
and replace the teapot.

4.2 Heatng Water
Samovar may be used for heatng
and bolng water when requred n
the ktchen. Add water to the kettle
compartment as n preparng tea
and turn on the man swtch and
bolng swtch by placng the ld or
teapot on the kettle compartment
for ths. As descrbed n tea
brewng process, applance returns
to keepng the water bolng
poston after bolng the water n
a short tme, n ths way there wll
always be boled water ready f the
applance s kept on whle you are
dong your work n the ktchen.

5.1 Cleanng and care
1. Pull the plug out before cleanng.
2. Never submerge the applance
n water.
3. Man swtch shall always be
turned off (0) when you are
done wth servng tea or heatng
water.
4. Teapot and flter may be washed
n the dshwasher or by hand.
Empty the kettle compartment
and wpe ths area wth a dry
or damp cloth, never wash t by
mmersng t to water.
5. Lme n the water wll collect
on the base of the kettle and
reduce the effcency of the
kettle n the course of the tme.
Put commercally avalable
descalng agents or some ctrc
acd (ctrate) nsde the kettle
wth some water and bol t;
then wat for a whle and rnse
and pour down the water. Do
not forget to rnse carefully wth
clean water.
5.2 Storage
•If you do not plan to use the
applance for a long perod of
tme, please store t carefully.
•Make sure the applance s
unplugged and completely dry.
•Do not wrap the power cord
around the applance.
•Keep t n a cool, dry place.
•Make sure that the applance s
kept out of the reach of chldren.
