1.1 General safety
•Keep the nstructon manual for future use. Should
a thrd party be gven the applance, please ensure
the nstructon manual s ncluded.
•Never use the applance n the bath, shower or
over a wash basn flled wth water; nor should t
be operated wth wet hands.
•Do not mmerse the applance n water or let t come
nto contact wth water, even durng cleanng.
•Clean all parts before usng the applance for the
frst tme. “Cleanng and mantenance” secton, see
detals.
•Man swtch should always be at “0” poston when
no water s avalable n the kettle or when t s not
used.
•Amount of water nsde the kettle shall be between
tap level and maxmum sgn (0,5 to 3 L). Excessve
water may overflow whle bolng. Ensure that the
water level s not below tap level, add more water
when t s reduced.

•When you want to pour the water boled n the
applance to another vessel, swtch off and pull
out the plug frst then remove the upper crcle and
hold the applance from both handles and pour the
water to the tap sde takng care as the water shall
be hot.
•Never put anythng other than water nsde the
kettle.
•Protect your hands from the vapor of bolng water
and always hold the applance from ts handles.
•If not already present, for addtonal protecton
t s recommend to nstall a resdual-current-
operated protectve devce (RCD) wth a rated
resdual operatng current not exceedng 30 mA
n the electrcal crcut of your bathroom. Ask your
plumber for advce.
•Ensure that the ar-nducton and output openngs
are not covered durng operaton.
•The applance s equpped wth an overheatng
protecton system.

•Pull out the power plug after use. Do not dsconnect
the plug by pullng on the cable.
•Never use the applance f t or the power cord s
vsbly damaged.
•If the power cord s damaged, t must be replaced
by the manufacturer, ts servce centre or a smlarly
qualfed person to prevent danger arsng.
•When the bolng swtch s open ( poston),
teapot or ld shall always be avalable on the kettle
compartment. Otherwse, the applance wll fal
to sense the bolng of the water and shall not
return to energy savng poston wth bolng stll
contnung.
•Donotopentheapplanceunderanycrcumstances.
No warranty clams are accepted for damage
caused by ncorrect handlng.
•Never place the applance on soft cushons or
blankets durng operaton.
•The applance s desgned for household use only.
•Always keep the applance out of the reach of
chldren.

and Electronc Equpment Regulaton and
dsposal of the applance.
This product do not include any hazardous and/or prohibited
materials defined in the Waste Electrical and Electronic
Equipment Regulation issued by the Ministry of Environment and
UrbanPlanning. Complieswith theWaste Electricaland Electronic
Equipment Regulation. This product is manufactured with high
quality components and materials that can be recycled and reused. For
this reason, do not dispose of this product together with domestic or
other wastes. Instead, leave the appliance in a recycling collection point
designed for electric and electronic equipments. Ask the local authority
about such collection points. You can contribute protection of the
environment and natural resources by delivering used electronic products
for recycling.

•Samovar s a practcal applance
desgned for brewng tea n
the conventonal sense. It bols
water n a short tme when t
s operated and then t returns
to keepng the water n bolng
poston automatcally savng the
energy consumpton about 90%.
•Ths poston bols the water
at mnmum level and both
prevents unnecessary bolng
and keeps the tea n the teapot
hot contnuously and saves
energy.
•When more water s added to
the kettle, the bolng swtch s
turned on agan to bol the water
n a short tme.
•When the water s boled, heatng
s brought to the mnmum level
agan and water s kept at bolng.
•Brefly, bolng swtch s turned
on wth the man flter when
water s added to the kettle and
man swtch s turned off when
you are done wth servng tea.
•In the meantme, mnmum
energy consumpton settng for
keepng the bolng teapot hot s
performed automatcally by the
applance.

WARNING:
Do not turn on the
man swtch wthout
water n the kettle or
when the water level

be turned off when
there s no water left

•Applance s protected wth
two thermostats aganst these
condtons for safety purposes;
these thermostats open the
crcut when no more water s
left and t starts to operate when
water s added.
•Samovar may also be used as a
kettle n the ktchen. Kettle ld
or teapot, even f t s empty,
shall be placed over the kettle
compartment n ths case.
•Keepng the water contnuously
bolng n the energy savng
poston, the applance provdes
bolng water ready whle you are
dong your work n the ktchen.

4.1 Makng Tea
1. Unwnd the supply cord around
the skrt compartment of your
applance n the requred length
and plug t to a grounded outlet.
It would provde ease of use
to keep the power cord length
short and reduce trp.
2. Place the drp cap rght under the
plotlghtsothatmarkedpartsare
algned wth each other. Drp cap
shall prevent last drop of water
n the tap or water overflowng
from the glass wettng your
counter. You can just remove the
drp cap to dran t.
3. Add water to the kettle
compartment between tap level
and maxmum sgn as per the
amount of tea you would lke to
brew.

water s kept ready for a long
tme wthout beng vaporzed
away.
•To pour the boled water to
another vessel, swtch off and pull
out the plug frst then remove the
upper crcle and hold the applance
from both handles and pour the
water to the tap sde takng care
as the water shall be hot.

the teapot ld. Place adequate
amount of tea to the flter and
pour some cold water over t and
then place t n the teapot.
5. Turn on the applance by placng
man swtch to poston (I) bolng
swtch to ( ) poston.
6. Red plot lamp shall be llumnated
and water shall start to heat up.
7. Dependng on the amount of
water added, t wll start to bol
n 3 to 10 mnutes and bolng
shall return to off ( ) poston
automatcally and reduce the
heatng power n order to keep
the water bolng at mnmum
level and save energy. At ths
pont, red plot lght shall be
turned off and green lght shall
llumnate.

4.2 Heatng Water
Samovar may be used for heatng
and bolng water when requred n
the ktchen. Add water to the kettle
compartment as n preparng tea
and turn on the man swtch and
bolng swtch by placng the ld or
teapot on the kettle compartment
for ths. As descrbed n tea
brewng process, applance returns
to keepng the water bolng
poston after bolng the water n
a short tme, n ths way there wll
always be boled water ready f the
applance s kept on whle you are
dong your work n the ktchen.

5.1 Cleanng and care

2. Never submerge the applance
n water.
3. Man swtch shall always be
turned off (0) when you are
done wth servng tea or heatng
water.
4. Teapot and flter may be washed
n the dshwasher or by hand.
Empty the kettle compartment
and wpe ths area wth a dry
or damp cloth, never wash t by
mmersng t to water.
5. Lme n the water wll collect
on the base of the kettle and
reduce the effcency of the
kettle n the course of the tme.
Put commercally avalable
descalng agents or some ctrc
acd (ctrate) nsde the kettle
wth some water and bol t;
then wat for a whle and rnse
and pour down the water. Do
not forget to rnse carefully wth
clean water.
5.2 Storage
•If you do not plan to use the
applance for a long perod of
tme, please store t carefully.
•Make sure the applance s
unplugged and completely dry.
•Do not wrap the power cord
around the applance.
•Keep t n a cool, dry place.
•Make sure that the applance s
kept out of the reach of chldren.
