ELECTRIC FIREPLACE HEATER
ASSEMBLY AND OPERATION MANUAL
Model : FUJI TV furniture with electric fireplace. Ref 147
ATTENTION:
1. Find a location for the electric heater that is protected from direct sunlight.
2. Do not plug the electric heater into the power outlet before you read all instructions.

NOTE: If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the
manufacturer, its service agent
or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
Important
Children of less than 3 years should be kept away unless continuously supervised.
Children aged from 3 years and less than 8 years shall only switch on/off the appliance provided
that it has been placed or installed in its intended normal operating position and they have been
given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the
hazards involved. Children aged from 3 years and less than 8 years shall not plug in, regulate and
clean the appliance or perform user maintenance.
CAUTION—Some parts of this product can become very hot and cause burns. Particular
attention has to be given where children and vulnerable people are present.
WARNING: In order to avoid overheating, do not cover the heater.

Operating Instructions
Once the fireplace heater insert has been properly installed and connected to a ground electrical
outlet, it is ready to operate. Note: ensure the circuit breakers for the power supply are turned on.
NOTE: Plug in your fireplace, you have power and your remote is ready to operate your
unit.
The heater controls are located at top right corner of the insert.
Remote Control
: Press this button for main power function and flame effect. Press again will stop the main
power function. Once the heater is switched off, the unit will keep working with air flow
for 30 more seconds.
: Press this button to toggle between the two temperature scales. The corresponding
Celsius (C) or Fahrenheit (F) LED indicates the current setting.
: Press this button for timer function. The letters ‘0H’ to ‘8H’ will appear on the LED
screen. ‘0H’ means there is no set running time and heater will run continuously. The

letters ‘1H’ to ‘8H’ mean the number of hours that the heater will operate before shutting off.
: Press this button, the numbers ‘6’ to ‘0’ will appear on the LED screen. ‘6’ means there
is highest flame brightness. And ‘0’ means there is no flame effect.
: Press up or down button to the desired temperature. When desired ambient temperature is
reached, the heater will automatically stop heating. When the ambient temperature drops
below the desired temperature 2℃, the heater will resume heating. Press this button on
machine to get the desired temperature. Hold it for 5 seconds o toggle between the two
temperature scales. The corresponding Celsius (C) or Fahrenheit (F) LED indicates the current
setting.
Note: When the power button is turned off, all other heater functions will stop even though the
buttons may be in the on position.
Remote Control Battery Replacement:
Replace with a CR2025 battery and follow the diagram at the back of remote handset to
install the new battery.
NOTE: Don't throw the old battery into the garbage can. Please recycle batteries through
designated channels
Maintenance:
WARNING: Completely disconnect power before attempting any maintenance or cleaning,
to reduce the risk of fire or electric shock. Maintenance should only be performed by a
certified technician.
Repair Set:

Touch-up Repair Paint:
Paint directly on the mantel unit if necessary.
Repairs:
If any problems are found with the original parts during mantel assembly - such as if the
panels cannot be installed with the plastic connector - try to solve by one of the following
methods.
Tools required: Electric drill, drill bits 3/4 inches (10mm) or 1/16 inches (2mm), pencil,
hammer, Phillips screwdriver, safety goggles and gloves (if necessary).
WARNING: WEAR GOGGLES BEFORE YOU START DRILLING.
OPTION 1:
Use the spare KD nuts, KD screws and plastic connector.
1. Place the plastic connector on the mantel unit and mark the drill-holes as shown in Fig. A.
2. Drill the holes with diameter 3/4 inches (10mm) and depth 3/4 inches (10mm) on the
mantel. Each plastic connector needs 3 holes. See Fig. B.
3. Gently install the KD nuts into the drilled-holes with hammer as shown in Fig. C.
4. Attach the plastic connector and lock in place with KD screws as shown in Fig. D.

OPTION 2:
Use the small L-brackets and screws.
1. Place the small L-bracket to the unit and mark the drill holes on the mantel, as shown in Fig.
E.
2. Drill the holes with diameter 1/16 inches (2mm) and depth 5/16 inches (8mm) on the mantel.
Each small L-bracket needs 4 holes. See Fig. F.
3. Attach the small L-bracket and lock in place with screws, as shown in Fig. G.

Cleaning:
Before cleaning any parts of the fireplace make sure to first turn off the controls and then
unplug the unit from power source.
CAUTION: Wait until the unit has completely cooled before attempting any cleaning.

Cleaning Glass Panel: Remove dust with clean dry cloth. Remove fingerprints and
other marks from glass door by using a clean damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or
spray liquids on glass door surfaces.
Metal and metal painted parts should be cleaned with clean damp cloth only. Do not use
abrasive cleaners or spray liquids on these surfaces.
